128: Big-headed energy stone

"Then let them be! Have them catch more, keep them for future food." Luo Chen nodded, not forgetting to instruct, "Right! Remember to catch them alive and bring them back to the Train yourselves."

Xiaobai and Three Little Dragons heard this, nodded wildly in excitement, and immediately turned to run into the forest behind them.

Three Little Dragons even did several somersaults in excitement.

Luo Chen then sent a message to Chen Yujun, telling her to be responsible for receiving the small dinosaurs caught by Three Little Dragons and Xiaobai, and then putting them into the breeding carriage.

After handling that, the four once again set off towards their destination, seeing a few more Pink-fleshed Dragons along the way, but with Xiaobai and the others catching them, they didn't bother with them.

The four passed through the dense forest and arrived at an open lawn.

Without the obstruction of the tree canopy, the space under the trees was brightly lit, as if a hole had been torn in the sky.

The grass and trees below grew taller and denser, even blocking the four's line of sight ahead.

A low, deep breathing sound continuously came from ahead, which was how they confirmed their destination.

"Stop!"

Luo Chen stopped, halted Xue Shang and the other two, and alone pushed aside the nearly two-meter-high grass to look forward.

Inside the huge circular nest, a massive Tyrannosaurus Rex was sleeping on the ground, and the immense breathing sound came from its constantly opening and closing nostrils.

Seemingly sensing the presence of Luo Chen and the others, the Dinosaur Zombie's eyes began to struggle, gradually waking up.

"You all stand back a bit, I'll try the effect of hot weapons first," Luo Chen turned his head and quickly said.

Xue Shang and the other two retreated upon hearing this.

Their purpose for this trip was to assess the strength of the Dinosaur Zombie and Train themselves, not a hunting mission, so there was no need to aim for a single fatal blow.

If hot weapons were lethal to the zombie, then they could have everyone on the Train come out later and use hot weapons to hunt.

Luo Chen raised the M4A1 rifle in his hand, aiming at the dinosaur's huge neck.

He had heard during a visit to Jurassic Park that dinosaur brains were quite small, and their skull bones, in contrast, were very thick. He didn't know if bullets could penetrate them, so to avoid wasting the opportunity, he aimed the gun at the more vulnerable neck.

Bang!

A loud gunshot rang out, and the Dinosaur Zombie fully awakened.

At the same time, the bullet accurately hit the dinosaur's neck, blowing a hole in its thick, long neck, but not severing it. Large streams of dark blood dripped from the wound.

The Dinosaur Zombie stood up furiously, its eyes glaring at Luo Chen and the others, and it opened its foul-smelling mouth, letting out a mighty roar.

It charged towards the group.

"Scatter! Shoot its head!" Luo Chen shouted, and with a light jump, he leaped onto a tree branch several meters high.

He pulled out his M4A1 rifle and continuously shot at the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's head.

Xue Shang and the other two also fired from another direction.

However, even though the bullets created holes in the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie, they did not kill it.

It still turned its bloody body and continued to charge towards Luo Chen and the others.

"No good! We still have to chop off its head."

Seeing this, Luo Chen couldn't help but think, so he put down his M4A1 rifle and pulled out a large machete from his back.

The moment the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie was parallel to him, he jumped onto its back, then took out the machete and swung it down forcefully, embedding the blade into its body.

Xue Shang watched Luo Chen jump onto the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie, and she also jumped up with the long sword in her hand.

Feeling the two people on its back, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie shook its body violently.

"How did you get up here!" Luo Chen grabbed Xue Shang's hand to prevent her from being thrown off.

"I want to be with you. You can't stand steadily by yourself, it's hard to operate," Xue Shang shouted, inserting her sword into the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's body and steadying herself.

Attacked again, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie became even more frenzied, constantly smashing its body against the giant trees on both sides.

Luo Chen's body was violently flung, almost falling off its back. He gripped the hilt of his sword tightly and shouted loudly to Xi Yue on the ground:

"Xi Yue! Shoot the zombie's head from the side to attract its attention."

Xi Yue stared blankly at the AK rifle in her hand, then at the nearly seven-meter-tall giant dinosaur in front of her, slightly dazed.

Ha!

Make me attract attention.

How did I not know I was so powerful?

"Xi Yue!" Luo Chen's voice came again.

Xi Yue looked at Luo Chen, who was constantly being thrown up and slammed back onto the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's body, and gritted her teeth!

"I'll risk it!"

"This old lady isn't afraid of you!"

Shouting, Xi Yue raised her gun and fired frantically at the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie.

Xi Yue's attack successfully attracted the Tyrannosaurus Rex's attention. It no longer bothered with Luo Chen and the other person on its back and ran towards Xi Yue.

Seeing this, Xi Yue began to flee frantically.

"Good opportunity!" Luo Chen was overjoyed at the sight and quickly stood up on the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's back.

Then, with Xue Shang's help, he grabbed her hand with one hand and laboriously stood on the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's neck.

He raised his machete and swung it down fiercely, but the machete got stuck in the zombie's neck.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's neck was over half a meter thick, and a blade of thirty to forty centimeters was difficult to cut through in one go.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie felt Luo Chen's movement, stopped, and its body shook violently again.

Xi Yue had to stop as well, and fired again to attract attention.

However, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's neck was too thick, like a log five or six centimeters in diameter. Luo Chen chopped three or four times but couldn't sever it.

Just as the group was at a loss, an arrow flew directly towards the spot Luo Chen was chopping.

After a loud bang, the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie was decapitated, its head blown off, and its body crashed to the ground with a thud.

Luo Chen and Xue Shang jumped down hand in hand. Luo Chen gave a thumbs-up to Noya on the distant tree branch, who was holding a green longbow—Whispering Ivy.

Luo Chen looked at the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's corpse again and sighed helplessly.

Hunting such a massive Dinosaur Zombie was truly too difficult; Blue Star's hot weapons were ineffective, and cold weapons were equally useless.

Perhaps only the Super Electromagnetic Cannon could be used.

Luo Chen thought to himself.

"Let's go! Let's see if there's any energy stone!" Luo Chen's gaze fell on the Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's head in the distance.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex Zombie's head was a full two meters long and nearly one and a half to one and six meters high, also a behemoth in front of the four.

"How do we get the energy stone from such a big head?" Xi Yue looked at the head, which was almost as tall as her, feeling a bit speechless.
