69: Your thing has grown bigger again.

On a purple Train several kilometers long.

Si Xier sat up from a transparent, pale purple liquid-filled capsule, her lungs desperately gasping for air.

With her breathing, her bare chest began to tremble incessantly, and white light spots appeared on her fair skin.

“Sister, are you alright?” a pink-haired girl asked with concern, offering a towel.

“I'm fine!” Si Xier shook her head, took the towel, wiped the liquid from her face, and stood up from the capsule, her gaze fixed outside the Train: “Lian'er, have we escaped the Star-Devouring Beast crisis this time?”

“We have! After its first attack was ineffective, the Star-Devouring Beast was lured away by a ball of yellow light.”

Si Xier frowned slightly, walked out of the capsule with difficulty, picked up a purple silk robe from a nearby hanger, and wrapped it around her body: “Hmm? Yellow light, a star?”

“I'm not sure! But it doesn't look like a star. It looks more like an insect.” The girl called Lian'er handed her another cup of tea.

“An insect?” Si Xier took the cup, took a large gulp, and couldn't recall ever hearing of an insect that could survive in space!

After searching her mind for a moment and finding no relevant information, she gave up on thinking further: “Never mind it, as long as the Star-Devouring Beast is gone.”

With that, she returned the cup to Si Lian'er and let out a heavy sigh. Her body was extremely fatigued, as if she had been run over by a car, and her mouth felt like she had eaten lime, parched and uncomfortable.

Leaving her body to enter the Divine Memory Space was too physically draining; she didn't want to go in like that again. Every time she returned, she felt completely hollowed out.

This was even after soaking in a special liquid; otherwise, it was not impossible for her to turn into a mummy if she stayed too long.

It was a pity that she didn't succeed this time, or she could have gained some memories and a chance for divine protection.

Thinking of this, she sighed in her heart, feeling a bit regretful.

“Brother Xuan Yi from the Guiding Star just messaged to invite you to dinner at their place tonight,” Si Lian'er reminded her with interest, recalling a previous phone call.

“No! No!” Hearing the name Xuan Yi, Si Xier's already vexed mood became even more so.

Xuan Yi was someone she had met at a station before, but this person seemed to have some mental issues, or perhaps he was too narcissistic.

The first time he saw her, he said he would give her a chance to pursue him, and then he painstakingly found her information among tens of thousands of people in the chatroom.

After that, he constantly followed her like a shadow, and told everyone she liked him, which led to everyone in her entire regional chatroom now believing she liked him.

“Oh, that's such a shame? I heard they got news of a Heavenly Law level expert's tomb from the Third Silence, which might contain a Memory Black Box. Are you really not going to take a look?”

Si Lian'er looked regretful; if her sister didn't go, she wouldn't get to see those men vying for her sister's attention, which was truly a pity.

Si Xier paused, her gaze drifting outside the Train, and changed the subject: “Where is the Train stopped now?”

“The screen shows a planet called Kaheli. We'll probably spend two months here,” Si Lian'er said casually, looking down, her mood a bit low.

“Are there other people besides us on this planet?”

Si Xier watched the busy Train passengers outside the window, most of whom were her clansmen. Some were collecting supplies, while others began to reclaim wasteland, sowing seeds for edible plants, trying to complete the planting and harvesting of crops within two months.

“Yes! Xuan Yi, Brother Yun Ming, and the others are all here, and Sister Yun Miaoyan and her group are also here.” Si Lian'er came to Si Xier's side, also looking out at the busy clansmen through the window.

Her father's mysterious disappearance five years ago placed the burden of managing the clan on the two sisters. Although they were unaccustomed to it at first, with the help of other clan elders, they successfully pulled through.

“Are they also having dinner tonight?” Si Xier suddenly asked.

“Uh... probably!” Si Lian'er wasn't sure. But Brother Xuan Yi was inviting her sister to a candlelight dinner, so he probably wouldn't invite a few third wheels.

Si Xier gritted her teeth, hesitated for a moment, then said: “Then I'll go!”

Si Lian'er's eyes lit up, and she instantly became energetic: “Great, great! Sister will definitely outshine everyone.”

As evening arrived, Si Xier, after a casual makeover, followed Si Lian'er to the agreed location.

The location was under the largest purple towering giant tree on Kaheli Star. The enormous canopy sheltered an area of several miles.

At this moment, a wooden table nearly ten meters long had been set up under the giant tree, piled with all sorts of food.

Over a dozen people were already seated around the table. Through the faint illuminating light wrapped around the tree trunk, Si Lian'er clearly saw everyone's faces.

“So many people, and all familiar faces. This Brother Xuan Yi is too stupid!”

Si Lian'er muttered to herself.

As soon as they approached, Xuan Yi enthusiastically greeted them: “Xier, you're finally here. You must have missed me after such a long time. I've been looking forward to this day for so long.”

Si Xier rolled her eyes, ignoring him.

At this moment, Yun Ming also walked forward, smiling and greeting: “Xier, long time no see.”

“Brother Yun Ming, long time no see.” Si Xier smiled slightly.

Yun Ming's path was Order, and he was from the most harmonious faction within Order, the Co-orbital Hub Council, which made him the most popular person among them.

Yun Miaoyan, on the other hand, said sarcastically from the side: “Oh, a rare guest, I thought you wouldn't come.”

Si Xier smiled faintly: “I heard there was news of a Memory Black Box, so of course I had to come join the fun. But I also heard that Sister Miaoyan killed a black dragon, I wonder if there's a chance to eat some dragon meat tonight!”

Yun Miaoyan's face darkened, and she remained silent.

“Sit, sit! Let's talk while we eat. Everyone's friends.”

A young man with prominent horns walked out, pulled out chairs for the Si Xier sisters, and let them sit down.

“Huai Zhou, thank you.” Si Xier said politely and sat down. On her other side, there was also an elf woman with green hair.

“Oh! Your thing has gotten bigger again, I really want to pull it off.”

Si Lian'er looked at the horns on the young man called Huai Zhou's head and shouted excitedly.

She heard that deer antlers could boost virility, and if sold, they would surely fetch a good price.

Huai Zhou felt Si Lian'er's gaze and quickly ran to hide on the side.

“Huai Zhou, you're still acting like a good guy, but unfortunately, others don't appreciate it.”

Yun Miaoyan said mockingly.

Huai Zhou was embarrassed by Yun Miaoyan's words, his gaze darting to the distant tree trunk.

Si Xier didn't engage with Yun Miaoyan's words. She looked at the elf woman beside her, seeing her looking preoccupied, and felt a bit curious.
