156: Chapter 156 Soul Judgment
"So cool!" Emma jumped up and down excitedly from behind. "I want to learn that too! Next up is Super Emma!"
"Firepower Pouring requires not only a massive energy reserve but also extreme physical strength to withstand the recoil," Wednesday commented.
Qin Ming stopped his movements and lowered his hands.
Art's human form was no longer in the center of the basement.
Only a few pieces of charred, mangled flesh and that tattered black-and-white clown suit remained on the floor.
Devon, who had been hanging upside down, and Tara, who was on the chair, were completely dumbfounded.
Their brains were totally unable to process the supernatural level of mass destruction before their eyes.
The terrifying clown who had just driven them into a corner was turned into mincemeat by light spheres coming out of someone's hands?
But the battle was not over.
For a demon like Art who had crawled back from hell, physical destruction was only the first step.
The charred pieces of meat on the ground began to writhe violently, and an extremely cold, thick black gas smelling of pungent sulfur rose from them.
The black mist twisted and struggled in mid-air, gradually sketching out Art's terrifying, fanged smiling face.
"Still thinking of going back to hell to respawn?" Qin Ming sneered.
He would never give this walking pile of points any chance to escape.
Qin Ming raised his right hand directly above his head, palm facing upward.
He concentrated all the power in his body—including Holy Light, magic, and the blood energy from his high-level constitution—into his right palm without reservation.
The light changed.
Under extreme compression, the originally pure white Holy Light began to refract into a rainbow-colored halo.
A rainbow-colored Starlight Energy Ball rapidly took shape in Qin Ming's palm.
The terrifying pressure it emitted made it feel as if the gravity in the entire basement had shifted.
The surrounding dust and rubble floated up uncontrollably.

Even though it was a formless soul, dense ripples of extreme fear washed over it.
The next moment.
Qin Ming gripped the rainbow-colored Starlight Energy Ball and, with a sudden snap of his wrist, hurled it at the demon soul in mid-air like throwing a baseball.
The Starlight Energy Ball turned into a magnificent meteor, instantly piercing through Art's soul.
There was no deafening explosion, nor any violent shockwaves.
There was only pure annihilation.
The rainbow-colored light was like strong acid poured into ink, devouring the black soul completely with overwhelming force.
Art couldn't even let out a final death scream.
The rift connecting to hell was forcibly smoothed over by this powerful energy.

The cold system notification rang out in Qin Ming's mind right on time:
[Ding! You have killed the Demon Clown Art. Points +200.]
Qin Ming lowered his right hand with satisfaction.
Not only did he earn 200 points, but he also took the opportunity to test a new attack mode that involved mixing and compressing multiple types of energy; the results were surprisingly good.
Not far away, Tara was still slumped by the iron chair, shivering.
Devon, hanging from the crossbeam, was still in a head-down position.
Just as Qin Ming's gaze swept over, his vision suddenly fell into complete darkness.
A pair of slightly cool hands reached out from behind and covered his eyes tightly.
There was a faint, natural herbal scent between the fingers.
"No looking," Jennifer's cool voice sounded in his ear.
Qin Ming was speechless. "I was just checking if there were any leftover soul fragments at the scene."
"There aren't any, I can see very clearly." Jennifer held on tight, with no intention of letting go.
"Is Brother a pervert? Does he like looking at this?" Emma curled her lip in disgust and walked over to Tara's side on her short legs.
Tara looked at the little blonde girl as if she were a lifesaver, her eyes full of pleading.
Emma didn't reach out; she just moved her mind slightly.
A Magic Radiant Sword shimmering with blue light materialized out of thin air.
With a *swish*...
The Glintsword precisely cut the coarse hemp rope binding Tara, accidentally leaving a very shallow blood mark on Tara's wrist.
"Oops, off by a millimeter." Emma showed an innocent and sweet smile.
Tara didn't care about the sting on her wrist at all. She scrambled over to the hanging Devon, clumsily trying to undo the rusted iron chains. The two girls hugged each other and burst into tears.
"Let's go." Wednesday had zero interest in this aesthetically lacking scene of survival.
Jennifer kept her hands over Qin Ming's eyes from behind, pushing him all the way out of the abandoned apartment.
She only let go once she was sure that kind of scene was no longer in sight.
The four of them stood on the late-night street once again.
The cold Halloween wind blew away the musty basement smell clinging to their clothes.
"Wow, the air outside is much better." Emma took an exaggerated deep breath, then turned to look at Qin Ming with sparkling eyes. "Brother, it's only a little past 1:00 AM. Where are we going next?"
Qin Ming checked the time. "We've had fast food, and we've cleared out the killer... in the middle of the night..."
"The amusement park!" Emma interrupted Qin Ming, pointing directly at the huge neon sign in the distance of the town. "I want to go to the amusement park! It's Halloween today; the special events there definitely haven't ended yet!"
Wednesday nodded slightly. "I agree. The facilities at that amusement park on the edge of town are poorly maintained. There's a high probability of metal fatigue causing the screws on the Ferris wheel to snap, and the roller coaster is at risk of derailing. It's an excellent accidental death experience hall."
Qin Ming turned his gaze to Jennifer.
Jennifer tidied her wind-blown hair. "Going for a walk would be nice."
Three votes in favor.
Qin Ming shrugged. Since the two little ancestors at home and his classmate were all interested, he didn't mind expending a bit more energy.
Fifteen minutes later, the four of them stood at the ticket booth of the town's amusement park.
The Halloween amusement park was still brightly lit, with out-of-tune horror nursery rhymes playing over the speakers.
Even though it was late at night, many thrill-seeking young people were still gathered here.
"Four tickets for the scariest haunted house," Qin Ming tapped on the glass of the ticket window.
The ticket seller was a skinny old man dressed as a zombie. He took the money, handed over four tickets, and gave a sinister smile. "Hope you little ones can make it out alive."
The entrance to the haunted house was decorated like a giant demon's mouth.
As soon as they walked in, the light dimmed instantly. Realistic severed limbs were scattered around, and hidden speakers played a loop of screams and the sound of bones breaking.
Turning the first corner.
An NPC covered in blood and holding a chainsaw suddenly jumped out from a hidden compartment behind a door.
"Vroom—!"
The chainsaw let out a huge roar. Wearing a hideous leather face mask, the NPC thrust the chainless saw right in front of Emma, who was walking at the front, attempting a perfect jump scare.
