195: Chapter 195 Frenzied Shopping

On the other side of Tokyo.

Qin Ming was comfortably nestled in the soft leather sofa of the living room, holding a steaming double beef burger in his hands.

The lights were off in the living room, with only the eighty-five-inch LCD TV emitting a faint blue glow.

The images on the TV screen weren't some boring afternoon variety show, but real-time surveillance footage split into two perspectives. On the left was the exterior of that dusty second-hand villa in Nishi-Ogikubo, and on the right were the corridors and various rooms inside the villa.

Larry was obediently staying in the corner of the TV, presenting the "live broadcast" it had hacked through the power lines and network cameras near the villa—even reconstructing it directly from the electronic dimension—before Qin Ming's eyes.

"A side story of ju-on, the Old White Woman family."

Qin Ming took a huge bite of his burger. Chewing the meat, he watched Emma on the screen as she leisurely loaded bullets into her revolver, casually offering a comment.

This family was like a pressure cooker about to explode. Once that thirty-year-old loser uncle, Isobe Atsushi, was seduced by the evil spirit in the dressing mirror, the tragedy of the entire family was practically inevitable.

But now with Emma and Sadako watching from the sidelines, this whole thing was just like watching a B-movie horror flick after dinner.

Since his sister was doing all the legwork, the older brother just had to watch the movie.

Qin Ming swallowed his burger, grabbed a few tissues to wipe his hands, and pulled up the exchange panel. His gaze swept through the dense list of high-level items, locking onto the top.

"Exchange: Embryonic Saint Body," Qin Ming muttered in his mind.

[Command confirmed. Points consumed: 10,000.]

[Exchange successful: Divine Body of Initial Holy Light Fusion.]

[Skill Description: The physical body begins to deify. Except for fatal soul damage that completely destroys the soul, any physical or energy damage sustained by the host's body will be forcibly repaired by Holy Light in an instant.]

His gaze continued to scan downward.

[Current remaining points: 56,666.]

"Exchange: Chibaku Tensei."

[Points consumed: 1,000. Current remaining: 55,666.]

[Exchange successful: Chibaku Tensei. Turns the target into a gravitational core, forcibly attracting earth, rocks, and spatial fragments to form a permanently sealed "small world."]

"Exchange: Hado #90 [Kurohitsugi]."

[Points consumed: 2,500. Current remaining: 53,166.]

[Exchange successful: Hado #90 [Kurohitsugi]. Summons a black cubic barrier to trap the opponent tightly, generating countless shadow blades inside to slice the target into a thousand pieces from all angles.]

"Exchange: Hado #99 [Goryu Tenmetsu]."

[Points consumed: 2,500. Current remaining: 50,666.]

[Exchange successful: Hado #99 [Goryu Tenmetsu]. Summons five massive dragons of spiritual power to crush a wide area, destroying all matter and inflicting a deep soul curse on any survivors.]

A string of large-scale AOE skills and sealing techniques were acquired, greatly making up for Qin Ming's current lack of show-off skills.

But he wasn't done yet. "Exchange: Teleportation, plus one tenseiga."

[Points consumed: 1,000 (Teleportation).]

[Points consumed: 10,000 (tenseiga).]

[Current remaining points: 39,666.]

[Exchange successful: tenseiga.]

[Weapon Characteristics: Cannot kill living humans of this world; specifically counters underworld creatures, undead, and evil spirits. By slaying the soul-reaping messengers of Hell, it can revive life that has recently died (limited to once per person). When the host faces a crisis, it automatically deploys a Hell Barrier to block all conventional attacks of this world.]

[Ultimate Move: Meido Zangetsuha. Reverses tenseiga's power to tear open a passage to Hell, casting the enemy directly into the world of the dead. Ignores physical defense, unstoppable; once hit, the target is exiled.]

A long sword with an ancient aura and a snow-white scabbard appeared out of thin air in Qin Ming's hand.

Qin Ming rubbed his fingers over the hilt twice before storing tenseiga into his inventory space.

"Larry," Qin Ming leaned back on the sofa, pointing at his empty burger wrapper. "Order two large Hawaiian pizzas, plus two strawberry sundaes—extra strawberry sauce."

Static flickered in the top-right corner of the screen.

"٩(•̤̀ᵕ•̤́๑)ok!!!!... Order placed... The rider is on the way," Larry's synthesized voice came from the TV speakers.

Qin Ming nodded, took a large gulp of Coke through his straw, and refocused on the left side of the screen.

The sun had completely set.

The second-hand villa in Nishi-Ogikubo was now completely swallowed by the night.

Emma and Sadako stood outside the iron gate once again.

The evening breeze blew; the daytime swelter was gone, replaced by a bone-chilling cold.

In Sadako's vision, the entire house was tightly wrapped in black resentment so thick it looked like physical asphalt.

This resentment rolled out from the gaps in the windows, as if countless invisible hands were waving frantically in the air.

"Let's begin."

Emma wore an innocent smile on her face.

She pulled out the "azure rose," that revolver with an exaggerated caliber.

*Click.* Emma cocked the hammer with one hand, the barrel pointing straight at the closed entrance door.

Sadako swallowed hard, nodded, and obediently followed Emma into the courtyard filled with the aura of death.

Meanwhile, the interior of the house had turned into a living hell.

On the second-floor corridor, the floor was covered in glaring blood.

Isobe Kentaro, that old man who cared too much about appearances, was now slumped at the top of the stairs like a pile of mud. A large hole was blown in his head, and brain matter mixed with blood smeared the wooden floor.

Thirty-year-old Isobe Atsushi stood beside his father's corpse.

His once decadent and cowardly face was now completely distorted, a crazed sneer hanging from the corner of his mouth, and the whites of his eyes were entirely filled with blood.

In his hand, he gripped a golf club that had already been bent, with blood still dripping from its tip.

"Useless... calling me useless... you all go to hell..."

Isobe Atsushi muttered indistinctly, like a puppet pulled by some force, as he turned toward the storage room.

The storage room door was open. In front of that half-person-tall dressing mirror, the grandmother, Isobe Haru, had been hung from a beam by a thick hemp rope.

Her feet dangled limply in the air, eyes bulging, a deep purple bruise strangled around her neck. Her corpse looked incredibly eerie in the mirror's reflection.

Isobe Atsushi dragged the bent golf club and walked down the stairs to the first floor.

A woman's scream came from the kitchen.

"Atsushi! Have you lost your mind? What are you doing?!" His stepmother, Isobe Miho, retreated to the sink in terror, staring at her blood-covered stepson.

Isobe Atsushi didn't answer. He threw down the golf club, pulled a sharp meat cleaver from the cutting board, and stabbed it into Miho's stomach without hesitation.

*Squelch!*
