36: Chapter 36 The Bold Du Aoling

At 7:30 PM, Jiang Li arrived on time at the Japanese restaurant Du Aoting had sent him.

The restaurant was located on the county's food street. Two red Japanese-style lanterns hung at the entrance, and the wooden lattice sliding door was half-open, revealing the warm yellow light from inside.

Jiang Li pushed open the wooden lattice door and walked in. He scanned the restaurant with his eyes and quickly found Du Aoting.

However, to his surprise, there was a young girl sitting next to Du Aoting.

The girl looked to be about eighteen or nineteen years old, wearing her hair in a high ponytail. She wore no makeup, and her skin was so fair and tender it looked like it could be pinched and water would come out.

Her features were seventy percent similar to Du Aoting's, but she looked more innocent.

She was wearing a white short-sleeved T-shirt and a denim miniskirt, giving off the vibe of a heroine straight out of a campus drama.

Jiang Li walked over, sat down across from them, and his gaze swept back and forth between Du Aoting and the young girl.

Seeing Jiang Li's inquiring gaze, Du Aoting sighed helplessly.

"Jiang Li, this is my younger sister, Du Aoling. She's my uncle's daughter, and she just finished the college entrance exam this year."

"My uncle found out I bought a car and insisted that I take her out to get some fresh air."

She paused, then added, "But don't worry, she has to be home by nine o'clock at the latest tonight."

Jiang Li understood.

No wonder Du Aoting ran home to change clothes right after buying the car; it turned out she went to show it off.

This girl really is quite the show-off; she bought a Ballet Cat and couldn't wait to announce it to the world.

"Hello, Brother Jiang Li."

Du Aoling greeted Jiang Li, her voice crisp and carrying that unique innocence characteristic of a student.

When she smiled, two shallow dimples appeared on her face. Paired with those beautiful eyes just like Du Aoting's, she was indeed very likable.

"Hello."

Jiang Li nodded and picked up the menu to browse through it.

Du Aoting was clearly a regular at this restaurant; she ordered several signature dishes in one go.

"Jiang Li, the food here is great. Many of the dishes are very nourishing!"

"But then again..."

Saying this, Du Aoting glanced at her younger sister, her face reddening slightly as she spoke vaguely:

"It seems you don't need that..."

While waiting for the food, Du Aoting poured tea for Jiang Li, introduced the restaurant's specialties, and chatted idly.

Jiang Li held his teacup, sipping slowly, nodding and responding from time to time.

Du Aoling sat opposite them, listening quietly to her sister, occasionally interjecting a sentence or two. She looked well-behaved and sensible.

However, just as half the dishes had been served, Jiang Li suddenly felt something brush against his calf.

At first, Jiang Li thought it was his imagination, but a few seconds later, his calf was touched again.

Du Aoting was busy taking pictures of the sushi platter in front of her with her phone, looking completely oblivious.

Meanwhile, Du Aoling, sitting opposite him, was eating her eel rice in small bites with her head down, her expression innocent as if nothing had happened.

But Jiang Li noticed that the roots of her ears were slightly flushed.

That little foot was smooth and tender, with light, transparent nail polish on the toes. Hidden by the tablecloth, it was gently, rhythmically teasing Jiang Li.

Jiang Li put down his chopsticks, picked up his teacup for a sip, and the corners of his mouth curled up slightly.

Interesting.

This young girl looks innocent, but she's quite bold.

But to be honest, Du Aoling's type definitely has its own lethality.

Her makeup-free face was full of collagen, her skin as fair and tender as a freshly peeled egg. Paired with a pair of sparkling eyes and two shallow dimples, she looked completely harmless just sitting there.

Yet, this pair of little feet was anything but well-behaved.

"Jiang Li, try this!" Du Aoting pushed a plate of teppanyaki Wagyu beef in front of Jiang Li, looking full of anticipation. "This beef is super tender!"

"Sure."

Jiang Li picked up a piece of Wagyu and put it in his mouth; it truly melted in his mouth.

Du Aoling also picked up a piece of Wagyu. "Sis, this is really good, much more tender than the grilled beef I had last time."

"Obviously!" Du Aoting said, looking a bit smug. "This is the best Japanese restaurant in the county. I only splurge on such expensive dishes when Jiang Li comes."

As she spoke, she secretly winked at Jiang Li, making no secret of her affection for him.

However, under the table, Du Aoling's smooth little foot once again pressed against his calf.

This time it was bolder than before.

Her toes slid gently up his calf by an inch, creating a faint, lingering sensation.

Jiang Li looked up, his gaze landing on Du Aoling's face.

Du Aoling was still eating her eel rice with her head down, her face maintaining that innocent look, as if the foot under the table had nothing to do with her.

Jiang Li chuckled inwardly.

The old saying is truly right: birds of a feather flock together.

These two sisters—the older one is a manipulative little green tea in yoga pants, and the younger one is no simple character either.

One is more seductive than the other~

About ten minutes later, Du Aoting stood up and waved at Jiang Li and Du Aoling.

"I'm going to the restroom, you two go ahead and eat!"

After saying that, she walked towards the restroom in her high heels, her big golden wavy hair swaying in the light.

Only Jiang Li and Du Aoling were left at the table.

Jiang Li put down his chopsticks, leaned back in his chair, and fixed his gaze on Du Aoling opposite him.

"Little girl."

Du Aoling looked up, her face still wearing that well-behaved expression: "What's wrong, Brother Jiang Li?"

"Is your foot uncomfortable?" Jiang Li looked at her with a half-smile. "Why do you keep rubbing it against me?"

Du Aoling blinked twice, a mischievous glint flashing in her eyes.

She pursed her lips slightly as if she had made a decision. Not only did she not pull her little foot back, but she actually reached it forward another inch.

"It really is a bit uncomfortable..."

Her voice was very low, the tail end slightly raised, carrying a seductive tone completely at odds with her age.

"Why don't you help me rub it, Brother?"

While saying this, Du Aoling completely pulled that smooth little foot out of her crystal sandal and stretched it out openly in front of Jiang Li.

Those little feet were indeed beautiful.

The foot shape was slender, the toes long, the instep so white that the pale blue veins were visible, and the sole was a healthy pink.

The transparent nail polish shone with a soft luster under the light, making the whole foot look like an exquisite piece of porcelain.

Jiang Li looked down at the foot stretched toward him, then looked back up at Du Aoling's face, which was still full of innocence, and couldn't help but marvel inwardly.

This young girl was clearly not even twenty yet, but she was bolder than Du Aoting.

"Your sister will be back in a minute, aren't you afraid she'll see?"

Du Aoling's mouth curved up slightly. She unhurriedly withdrew her foot and slipped it back into her sandal. The whole process was smooth and fluid, as if nothing had happened just moments ago.

"We'll talk about that next time. Anyway, my sister said I should hang out with her more often."

"How about we add each other on WeChat, Brother?"

Du Aoling tilted her head, looking innocent.

Deep down, she was absolutely certain that this Jiang Li must be Du Aoting's sugar daddy!

Because from childhood to now, this was the first time she had seen Du Aoting be so good to a man.

"Sure, let's keep in touch. If you have any needs, feel free to come support my business."

Jiang Li took out his phone and added Du Aoling on WeChat.

The young girl immediately showed a triumphant smile, two shallow dimples rippling on her cheeks.

At the end of the day, no matter how smart Du Aoling was, she was just a young person about to enter university and didn't have as many tricks up her sleeve as Du Aoting.

Just then, the sound of high heels clicking on the wooden floor approached from a distance, and Du Aoting walked back from the direction of the restroom.

"What are you two chatting about?"

"Nothing." Du Aoling spoke up first. "Brother Jiang Li was just telling me that I can join more club activities in college to meet a lot of friends."

Du Aoting didn't think much of it. She picked up her phone to check the time, then turned to Du Aoling and said:

"It's 8:30. Uncle said you must be home before 9:00."

"I'll call you a taxi to go back first. I still have some things to discuss with Brother Jiang Li."

"Okay, Sis." Du Aoling nodded obediently, stood up, and waved at Jiang Li. "See you next time, Brother Jiang Li."

"See you next time."

Du Aoling followed Du Aoting out of the Japanese restaurant. Just before leaving, she turned her head back, winked at Jiang Li, and pointed at her phone.

Jiang Li nodded and grinned.

It seems one isn't enough, and now I'm getting another one...
