67: Chapter 67 Zhang Ling's Worries
Jiang Li swept his gaze into the real estate agency.
The first person he saw was Zhang Ling, who was sitting on a chair.
She was in her early twenties, yet her face bore a weariness that didn't belong to her age, as if she were being suffocated by some burden.
However, she was quite pretty.
She was wearing a light-colored dress, and beneath the hem were legs wrapped in silk stockings; her posture was somewhat tense, with her legs held straight.
It was evident that she was feeling very distressed.
Jiang Li's gaze lingered on her for a moment before quickly shifting to Wang Hui, who was inside.
Compared to looking at a pretty woman, business was more important.
Jiang Li pushed open the door and walked into the agency.
"Boss, I'd like to buy a shop nearby. Do you have any recommendations?"
Upon hearing this, Wang Hui's eyes instantly lit up.
Buying a shop!
This wasn't renting an apartment, nor was it buying a regular residence.
The transaction volume for commercial shops in Fanxing County had been pitifully low for the past two years.
Usually, the agency's transactions were mostly for essential housing.
Buying a small house didn't yield much of a commission.
But commercial shops were different.
Just closing one deal would be enough to keep her living comfortably for a month or two!
She cast a "wait a moment" look at Zhang Ling and quickly stood up, her smile far more sincere than before.
"Boss, what kind of location are you looking for in a shop?"
"Street-facing? In a commercial street? Or a ground-floor unit in a residential complex?"
Jiang Li thought for a moment. "Anywhere is fine."
Wang Hui was stunned.
Zhang Ling also looked up.
Anywhere is fine?
This request sounded very abnormal, alright!
Usually, people buying shops look at the location first, then the size, and then the foot traffic and price.
Who says "anywhere is fine" right off the bat?
But Jiang Li really wasn't picky.
He wasn't counting on the flower shop to make money, anyway.
It didn't matter if the flower shop made money or not.
As long as Wang Yaoyao liked it and the system mission could be completed, that was enough.
However, Zhang Ling's eyes suddenly lit up.
She looked at Wang Hui almost subconsciously.
"Sister."
"Recommend me!"
"I'm sitting right here!"
Wang Hui reacted quickly as well.
Although Jiang Li's request was a bit strange, it didn't matter.
As long as the deal could close, that was fine!
She immediately sat back down in front of the computer, opened the files, and took out two printed photos from the side.
"Boss, what do you think of this shop?"
"It used to be a flower shop."
"The renovation is clean, and the refrigerator, shelves, and workbench are still there."
"Whether you continue to run it as a flower shop or change it into something else later, it'll be easy to handle."
As she spoke, she handed the photos to Jiang Li.
"The location is also quite good."
"It's surrounded by new residential complexes, and the occupancy rate has been rising for the past two years."
"There are many young people, and the purchasing power is relatively strong."
Jiang Li took the photos and glanced at them.
The storefront in the photo was certainly not small.
The signage was light-colored, and the glass door was very clean.
Inside, rows of flower racks were still there, there was a refrigerator against the wall, and a packing table in the corner.
It was much less trouble than he had imagined; at least he didn't have to start from a bare shell.
Jiang Li nodded. "Can you contact the landlord to see the property now?"
Wang Hui immediately looked at Zhang Ling. "This is the landlord, Zhang Ling."
Jiang Li turned around and looked, amused.
He hadn't expected this worried-looking girl to be the landlord. It seemed that even rich people had their own troubles.
Zhang Ling quickly stood up and enthusiastically shook Jiang Li's hand.
"Hello, I'm Zhang Ling. My shop is currently for sale, including the property. Would you like to see if it's suitable?"
When she said this, Zhang Ling was visibly nervous; after all, she was truly desperate to sell it.
If the shop couldn't be sold, she would be stuck with a pile of trouble.
Jiang Li wasn't in a rush to negotiate the price with her and handed the photos to Wang Yaoyao.
"Yaoyao, take a look. Do you like it?"
Wang Yaoyao took the photos, glanced at them, and her eyes immediately lit up.
Wasn't this the kind of little flower shop she had imagined?
Clean.
Bright.
It even had rows of flower racks, and there were even many ready-made potted plants on them.
Although she had been struggling internally just a moment ago about whether she would lose her freedom if she watched the shop for Jiang Li.
But when she actually saw the photos, that hesitation was completely washed away by the beautiful scene before her.
She truly loved flowers.
She loved them so much that just looking at a photo made her unable to help but imagine it filled with fresh flowers.
Wang Yaoyao nodded repeatedly.
"I like it."
"This is very pretty."
"And it looks quite clean, so we won't have to redo too much."
Jiang Li nodded. "Then let's go take a look."
Wang Hui stood up immediately. "Sure, sure."
Zhang Ling also nodded quickly. "I can take you there right now."
Everyone was quite anxious now.
Wang Hui was anxious to close the deal, Zhang Ling was anxious to sell the shop, and Jiang Li was anxious to get the villa...
The three of them had different goals, but their direction was surprisingly consistent.
Not long after, a white Mercedes-Benz E and an orange Jeep pulled up in front of the flower shop.
That Jeep was driven by Zhang Ling; it was clear that she was actually quite well-off, so it was a mystery why she chose to sell the property.
However, Jiang Li couldn't be bothered to overthink it. After getting out of the car, his gaze instinctively fell on the flower shop's signage.
This shop was even larger than it looked in the photos, with two floors in total.
The flower shop was named "Flower Language."
The signage wasn't exaggerated, but it was very clean.
A light-colored signboard, a glass door, and a few strings of dried flowers hanging to the side.
Although the wooden racks at the entrance were empty, they were wiped very clean, showing that the previous owner had put a lot of thought into it.
The first floor was the main business area, with wide street-facing glass and good natural lighting.
The old wooden flower racks were still left at the entrance, though they were empty.
Seeing the decoration of this flower shop, Wang Yaoyao's eyes were almost lighting up!
Jiang Li was also feeling impatient.
Once he secured this flower shop, he would have a villa to live in!
