502: A realm ravaged by Buddha and demons, a lone orphan of the secluded bamboo grove.

Xue Fozi!

He gripped a Demon-Subduing Pestle tightly in his hand. The pestle's golden light was dim, yet it was entwined with countless hideous, howling phantoms of resentful Souls—the lingering thoughts of the Vajra Temple monks who had died in vain!

Each swing brought with it ear-piercing wails of ghosts and howls of gods.

"Clear Heart! You vile creature! Get out here!"

Xue Fozi's roar was like that of a wounded Vicious Beast. The sound waves rolled out, shaking the massive surrounding skeletons so hard that bone meal rustled down.

He followed the Aura left behind by Clear Heart, tracking him frantically.

Finally, at the edge of a rift valley covered in massive sword scars—as if split open by an ancient giant god—Xue Fozi caught up with that nightmare-like figure.

"Clear Heart—!!!"

Xue Fozi's eyes nearly split from rage. Golden light and blood-red baleful Qi erupted from his entire body as he crashed toward the lonely figure on the other side of the rift like a burning meteor.

The Demon-Subduing Pestle in his hand, carrying ten thousand tons of force and endless resentment, turned into a dark-gold blood-light that tore through space, aimed straight for the back of Clear Heart's heart!

This strike was poured with all his anger, determined to grind this traitor, this Devil Head who slaughtered his fellow disciples, into dust!

The wild winds of the rift valley howled, whipping Clear Heart's tattered monastic robes.

He did not turn back, nor did he even dodge.

Just as the pestle's light, capable of piercing through mountains, was about to strike his body, the chaotic Aura permeating his surroundings suddenly solidified.

"Sigh..."

A long, hollow sigh, seemingly from the eternal Netherworld, echoed out.

Clear Heart slowly turned around. There was no expression on his face, only those eyes burning with dark flames, which locked onto Xue Fozi.

He raised a hand as withered as dry wood, with pitch-black fingernails.

The Demon-Subduing Pestle was caught in Clear Heart's hand, unable to move.

"What?!" Xue Fozi's pupils instantly shrank to the size of pinpricks.

To what level had this Devil Head's power reached?

Clear Heart lowered his hand and looked at Xue Fozi. Deep within those crazed and chaotic eyes, an extremely complex emotion seemed to flicker—was it pity? Was it mockery?

"The sea of suffering is boundless... turning back... yields no shore..." Clear Heart's voice was hoarse and dry.

"You... cannot kill me... go... leave this place... live..."

"Shut up! You Devil Head! The blood debt of the Vajra Temple must be paid with your life today!"

Xue Fozi could not listen to any of it; his heart held only heaven-toppling hatred.

He roared, the golden light around him surging again, mixed with blood-red baleful Qi. He raised the Demon-Subduing Pestle once more as even greater power gathered!

He would rather self-detonate than fail to take this Devil Head down with him!

However, just as his Aura reached its Peak and he was about to pounce again, Clear Heart's eyes, burning with dark flames, suddenly erupted with a Soul-seizing light.

A demonic might, far deeper, more chaotic, and more suffocating than before, crashed down upon Xue Fozi like an invisible mountain!

Pfft!

Xue Fozi felt as if he had been hit by a heavy hammer. His gathered power instantly dissipated, his chest felt stifled, and he spat out a mouthful of blood, staining the ground before him red.

He felt his very Soul trembling under that terrifying demonic might, as if held by countless cold demonic claws, unable to move.

The Demon-Subduing Pestle in his hand became as heavy as ten thousand tons, nearly slipping from his grasp.

The gap! An insurmountable, chasm-like gap in power!

Clear Heart looked at him coldly, his gaze like that of someone looking at an ant that overestimated its own strength. "Go... or... die..."

The cold words carried no emotion. Having spoken, Clear Heart didn't give the staggering Xue Fozi another look. He turned and stepped into the Void Realm, walking step by step into the gray mist permeating the depths of the rift. His figure was soon swallowed by that thick deathly Aura, leaving only the heart-palpitating lingering charm of demonic intent to slowly dissipate in the air.

Leaning on his Demon-Subduing Pestle, Xue Fozi knelt on one knee, panting heavily as blood continuously seeped from the corners of his mouth.

He looked in the direction where Clear Heart had disappeared, his eyes filled with anger, but even more so with a bone-deep sense of powerlessness.

He understood that if the other party had wanted to kill him just now, it would have been as easy as turning a palm. That final warning was real.

"Why... why... Junior Brother Clear Heart, how did you become like this?"

He let out a hoarse, low growl, slamming his fist hard against the cold ground. His knuckles cracked, and blood flowed freely.

Scenes of his fellow disciples' tragic deaths churned in his mind, intertwined with his current humiliation, nearly driving him mad.

He stared fixedly into the depths of the gray mist. Finally, the flames of revenge were suppressed by cold reality.

He struggled to stand up and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Clear Heart... one day... one day I will personally cast you into the Avici Hell!"

He roared his oath in a low voice, turned, and carrying his body full of wounds and hatred, staggered away into the ruins in another direction.

In another area of the Burial God Ancient Domain, the scene was completely different.

This was a wasteland, relatively open, and one of the front lines where the conflict between the Eastern Domain Cultivators and the Netherworld Realm invaders was most intense.

Shouts of battle, explosions of energy, the clashing of weapons, and the roars of Netherworld Creatures mixed together, forming a tragic war song.

In the sky, figures of Cultivators riding Magic Treasures or light- escape techniques flashed by from time to time, colliding violently with those from the Netherworld Realm riding Bone Dragons and ghost horses, erupting into bursts of blinding light.

On the ground, battle groups of dozens or even hundreds of people could be seen everywhere. Spiritual light flickered, Sword Qi crisscrossed, and fire and frost raged, fighting fiercely against Netherworld Death Qi and corrosive venom.

"Form the array! Hold the left flank! Don't let those Soul-Devouring Ghost Bats break through!"

"Watch the ground! Earth-Drilling Demons!"

"Damn it, this Soul-Corroding Demon General's claws are poisonous! Detoxification pills! Fast!"

Amidst the noisy shouts, a figure wearing ornate, deep-blue armor was fleeing across the wasteland at an incredible speed, looking exceptionally disheveled.

Her armor was damaged in many places, revealing fair skin stained with purple-black foul blood. Her Aura was disordered, and she had clearly suffered significant injuries.

She had an exquisite face, yet it was as pale as paper, carrying a coldness and nobility that didn't seem to belong to the Eastern Domain. At this moment, those eyes, deep as a dark pool, were filled with anxiety and anger.

Behind her, three figures radiating Netherworld Death Qi were in hot pursuit.

The leader was tall, covered in dark purple bone armor filled with eerie suction-cup-like patterns. Under the helmet, only two dots of greedy and ferocious ghostly green Soul-fire were visible.

In his hand, he held a bone blade that constantly dripped corrosive slime. His Aura had reached the Law Realm Tenth Level Peak!

He was someone from the Soul-Corroding Royal Clan!

The two subordinates beside him were also clad in bone armor. Their Auras were slightly weaker, but they were still elite warriors of the Seventh and Eighth Levels of the Law Realm. One held a bone whip covered in barbs, and the other brandished a bone staff that could spit poisonous phosphorus fire.

"Princess Mo Li, why put up a desperate struggle?"

"Come back with me. Out of consideration for your former status in the Royal Clan, perhaps your life can be spared as a lowly slave!"

"Otherwise... Jie jie jie..." The piercing laughter was full of lewdness and cruelty.

The woman named Mo Li gritted her teeth and said nothing. She simply desperately pushed the remaining power in her body, her movement technique like a phantom as she wove through the jagged rocks and massive beast bones, trying to shake off her pursuers.

She occasionally turned to throw out a deep-blue energy blade, forcing the pursuers to dodge slightly, but this also slowed her escape speed.

"Stubborn! Catch her!"

The leader suddenly accelerated, his bone blade carving out a ghastly green poisonous light that tore through the air, aimed straight for Mo Li's back!

Mo Li felt the lethal threat behind her. She forcibly twisted her body, her hands forming seals in front of her chest, and a deep-blue shield flowing with ancient runes instantly condensed.

Boom!

The poisonous light slammed hard into the shield!

The shield vibrated violently, and cracks spread across it like a spider's web.

The massive impact caused Mo Li's blood and Qi to churn. She spat out another mouthful of blood, and her delicate body was thrown forward like a kite with a broken string, slamming heavily into a massive black stone tablet and sliding to the ground. Her Aura withered to the extreme.

"Hmph, at the end of your tether!"

The man grinned hideously, slowly approaching with his two subordinates, surrounding Mo Li in a triangular formation.

His greedy eyes scanned Mo Li's exquisite face and shapely body. He stuck out his crimson tongue and licked the slime on the bone blade.

"Now, you don't even have the qualification to resist. Hand over the ancient jade obediently."

Mo Li leaned against the cold stone tablet, looking at the three approaching Soul-corroding demons, a flash of despair in her eyes.

She quietly gripped a warm jade pendant carved with ancient bamboo shadows. The remaining Youhuang Bloodline Power in her body began to circulate in reverse, emitting an extremely dangerous self-destructive fluctuation.

Even if she died, she would never let the last hope of the Youhuang Clan fall into the hands of her enemies!
