Factories operated at full capacity, converting resources from the Far East Star Sector and Necron legacies into more warships, weapons, and defensive facilities. Laboratories worked day and night, analyzing prophecy fragments plundered from the Samhan Aeldari, biological information encoding extracted from the Behemoth sub-swarms of the Tyranids, and spacetime technology reverse-engineered from the remains of Necrons under the Silent King's command. The deep-space colonization and Void Siphons in the Extragalactic Systems continued, with the lights of colonies spreading like fungal clusters in the darkness.

However, beneath this seemingly triumphant facade, the anomalies triggered by the Void Siphons—those that had been previously ignored or incomprehensible—were quietly undergoing a qualitative change.

First were the monitoring data from the Extragalactic Void Siphon facilities. The frequency of those occasional light and shadow distortions and inexplicable signal pulses began to steadily increase, gradually revealing a certain pattern.

The distortions were no longer random fragments but began to form brief yet repeating geometric patterns; although the encoding of the signal pulses still could not be fully deciphered, the adjudicator's analysis revealed their internal mathematical structure contained an extremely complex logic, yet one imbued with a sense of purpose.

It was not like the blasphemous whispers of Chaos, nor the sorrowful echoes of the Aeldari, nor the pure hunger of the Tyranids. It was more like an observation, a scrutiny based on absolute rationality and unknown laws.

Next, the reports of abstract dreams from Extragalactic colonies began to escalate. No longer were they limited to pioneers; even some of the most resolute administrative officials and garrison Commanders, who had undergone multiple psychological enhancements, began reporting similar experiences.

The content of the dreams became clearer and more unsettling: no longer shifting geometric mazes, they transformed into being situated beneath an endless ocean or sky composed of flowing silver data streams and cold starlight, feeling the gaze of an existence so vast it was indescribable.

This gaze held no malice, no emotion, only pure observation and analysis. Furthermore, a few highly sensitive individuals vaguely heard or understood some concepts in their dreams that defied verbal description, such as: 'Abnormal entropy increase rate,' 'Local order definition overload,' 'Species evolution path deviation value too high,' 'Should calibration protocol be initiated?' and so on... The Human Federation did not fear enemies, even if they were deities or calamities. But this unknown, non-hostile yet deeply unsettling attention was more troublesome than a direct threat.

"Deep correlation confirmed." The adjudicator's voice carried the hum of high-speed computation, its core seemingly under strain from processing this anomalous data. "The core energy signatures and information encoding patterns of all anomalies show a high degree of homology with the raw Extragalactic Warp energy being siphoned by the Void Siphon project."

"Nature hypothesis (probability 78.5%): The Warp environment of the Extragalactic Systems is not inert or blank. Its depths harbor a certain ultra-large-scale conceptual aggregate operating based on absolute rationality and non-emotional rules. Provisional designation: the cold observer."

"The large-scale energy extraction of the Void Siphons is akin to shining a searchlight and making loud noises in a calm deep sea, gradually attracting the attention of this entity. Its observation and analysis are likely instinctive reactions to understand, categorize, or evaluate our anomaly."

"Warning: Based on the vague concepts parsed from the dreams, this entity may possess a potential ability to calibrate or intervene with anomalies within its observational scope. Its method of intervention is unknown, but based on its absolute rationality and non-emotional nature, its intervention may occur in a form we cannot comprehend, based on the universe's underlying rules. Examples: micro-adjustment of local physical constants, forced correction of causal chains, or even direct deletion of existences that do not conform to its definitions."

"A god in the Extragalactic Warp? An orderly god?" The Chief Technologist gasped. "Different from the tainted Chaos Godss, and different from the Emperor's faith-polluted divinity... something based on the laws of the universe itself?"

"More like the universe's immune system or administrator," Han Zhe's voice was low. "Our large-scale, unnatural energy extraction may have triggered its alertness."

At that moment, providence connected with an urgent communication: "From the Tomb of Time Research Station: A breakthrough in the deep decryption of the STC-Ω project noah logs! Critical information discovered: One of the triggers for the Great Collapse of the golden age Human Federation was their large-scale, unrestrained experiments with time technology, which triggered a certain spacetime structural resonance, ultimately attracting the erasure by a corrective force from the dark side of the universe! The logs describe this corrective force as a non-personified cosmic balance mechanism. Its manifestations share similarities with the Extragalactic anomalies we are currently observing!"

The shadow of the golden age's demise overlapped horrifyingly with the Extragalactic anomaly before them.

"We must take measures," Han Zhe stated resolutely. "We cannot stop the Void Siphons; they are the pillar of our energy and development. But we must establish a firewall to isolate or at least significantly weaken this observation and potential intervention."

"The existing orderly firmament and Purification Domes are effective against Chaos, but their efficacy against something based on the universe's underlying rules is unknown," the Chief Technologist frowned deeply.

"Perhaps we need a technology that fundamentally isolates Warp influence." Han Zhe's gaze turned to the part of the star map representing Necron territories. "The Necrons transformed themselves into soulless machines, fundamentally rejecting the Warp. Does the principle behind their Necrodermis contain the ideas we need?"

"The Necrodermis..." The Chief Technologist's eyes lit up. "That's a field that forcibly suppresses, repels, or even kills Warp psychic activity. If we take its principle to the extreme and scale it up, perhaps we can create a... Warp Isolator? Not stabilizing or defining the Warp, but forcibly creating a local Warp vacuum or Warp insulation layer!"

"adjudicator, immediately integrate all data on Necron Necrodermis technology (obtained from the databases of Szarekh, Ouroska, and the Thanatos Dynasty). Combine it with the spacetime stabilization theories we deciphered from STC-Ω, the orderly foundational energy signatures analyzed from the Extragalactic anomalies, and our own abyss of order energy control technology. Dedicate full resources to developing a Warp Isolator prototype!" Han Zhe ordered. "Priority: Highest."

Goal: Establish this isolation field at key Extragalactic facilities and important controllable regions under our command.

"Mission received. Beginning theoretical model construction." The adjudicator responded. "Note: Completely isolating Warp influence means that within the field, any form of psychic power, prophecy, and certain FTL communications reliant on the Warp background (including some Aeldari and Chaos technologies) will be unusable. It may also inhibit some of our technologies based on the abyss of order. Side effects require careful assessment."

"Side effects are acceptable and must be endured," Han Zhe said. "Safety first. We must establish our insulating shell before provoking a more direct reaction from that the cold observer."

A race against time, a research competition against unknown cosmic laws, began. Almost all of the Human Federation's top scientific forces were poured into it. The Necrons' cold, life-repelling technology and the Human Federation's extreme rationality and pursuit of control found an eerie resonance in the goal of isolating the Warp.

Months later, the first-generation prototype of the Warp Isolator, the Void Barrier, was successfully activated in the extreme testing grounds of The Other Shore-1.

It was a massive, polyhedral dark gray device. Its surface bore no brilliant lights, only countless subtle, circuit-board-like energy patterns pulsing slowly. When activated, there was no earth-shattering energy eruption, only an intensely uncomfortable "silence" that spread outwards from its center.

Within the test area, all psychic detector readings instantly dropped to zero, as if psychic power had never existed. A strictly controlled Psyker permitted to enter reported that their psychic perception felt as if locked in an absolutely soundproof darkroom—utterly dark and dead silent. Even their faint connection to the abyss of order became extremely obscure.

Some precision positioning systems reliant on Warp background harmonics showed minor deviations. And the reports of Extragalactic anomalous signals and abstract dreams completely vanished within the area covered by the Void Barrier.

"Preliminary test successful! The Void Barrier effectively isolated over 99.9% of conventional Warp fluctuations and Extragalactic anomaly signals within the test area! Our non-psychic foundational technologies operate normally. abyss of order energy transmission efficiency decreased by approximately 15%, but remains within acceptable limits." The Chief Technologist reported, unable to conceal his excitement.

"Begin mass production and deployment immediately!" Han Zhe commanded. "Priority coverage: all Void Siphon facilities, core areas of major Extragalactic colonies, key nodes of the Firmament Network, and vital regions such as Keystone-1 and the Ark World. The deployment process must be covert to avoid prematurely alerting external forces."

Thus, within the Human Federation's increasingly vast territories, an even more absolute silence began to spread like an invisible film over key locations.

Pioneers in Extragalactic colonies found the troubling bizarre dreams had disappeared, but were replaced by a more oppressive sense of emptiness, as if isolated from the universe. Researchers, however, were delighted to discover that under the protection of the Void Barrier, analysis of Extragalactic anomaly data could proceed more safely. Simultaneously, some new research based on Necron technology and STC-Ω seemed to progress more smoothly due to the reduced Warp background noise.
