200: Chapter 200 Cleansing the Far East Star Region
The dangers of the evil gods were unpredictable, and those nearby were like a thorn in the throat.
The Far East Star Sector, a vast territory that once belonged to the Imperium of Man, had now nominally submitted under the dark gold banner of the Human Federation. But Han Zhe knew better than anyone that nominal submission and complete purification were separated by countless undiscovered xenos nests, mutant settlements, and gray areas that had been tacitly allowed to exist during the Imperium's rule.
The Reshaping Crucible had been operating in the Far East Star Sector for three years. The majority of the original Imperial population was undergoing a forced transformation of everything from their genes to their memories. But in the shadow of this massive project, those non-human entities—Aeldari Wanderers, Orks, and even some Xenos Servants secretly kept during the Imperial era—still lingered in the complex asteroid belts and abandoned sectors of the Far East Star Sector, clinging to life.
"adjudicator, report on the status of xenos remnants in the Far East Star Sector," Han Zhe spoke at the Command Center meeting. His voice was as calm as usual, but everyone could hear the sense of finality beneath that composure.
"Assessment Report on Xenos Remnants in the Far East Star Sector," the adjudicator's voice echoed through the holographic conference hall. "Based on the Diting Network's deep penetration and biometric scanning over the past three years, the following targets have been locked:"
"1. Aeldari Wanderer settlements: 217 locations. Primarily distributed in the Ghost Nebula and abandoned mining belts at the edge of the Far East Star Sector. Scales range from hundreds of thousands to tens of millions, mostly fallen Aeldari or exiles from Ark Worlds. Threat level: Medium-Low. However, secret communication channels with Imperial remnants have been discovered in some settlements."
"2. Ork communities: 890 locations. Mostly hidden in Space Hulk Graveyards deep within asteroid belts. Scales range from hundreds of millions to hundreds of billions, currently in a state of fractured infighting, but there is a potential risk of rapid unification due to external threats. Threat level: Medium."
"3. Descendants of Xenos Servants: 3,817 locations. This is a legacy issue from the Imperial era. Some Imperial nobles or commercial groups secretly kept xenos as servants, playthings, or experimental subjects. After the Far East Star Sector was occupied, these xenos were abandoned or escaped on their own, forming small-scale, self-sufficient hidden communities in remote worlds. Threat level: Low, but their very existence is a continuous desecration of the keystone charter."
"4. Unknown xenos: 60 locations. Biometric features do not match any known database; presumed to be indigenous evolutions of the Far East Star Sector or ancient sleeping races. Threat level: Unknown, requires field investigation."
Han Zhe fell silent for five seconds after listening to the report.
"The Far East Star Sector has been declared the territory of the Human Federation," he spoke slowly. "Within these borders, the existence of any non-human sapient life is a direct violation of the keystone charter."
"In the Imperial era, they could exist because the Imperium was decadent, inefficient, and turned a blind eye to xenos. But in the era of the Human Federation, there are no gray areas."
He issued the order: "Initiate Operation Pure Land."
"Target: The entire Far East Star Sector, all non-human sapient life settlements, systematic elimination."
"Operational Principles:"
"1. Leave no survivors. No surrenders accepted, no form of contact or negotiation."
"2. Leave no traces. After elimination, perform environmental purification and biometric erasure of the target area to ensure no DNA or information remains."
"3. Leave no hidden dangers. Perform deep memory scans and isolation screenings on any human individuals who may have had contact with xenos. If necessary, initiate memory purification procedures."
"Operational Commander: Alpha-01. The adjudicator will provide real-time intelligence and tactical support throughout."
"Operation Deadline: Ninety standard days."
Operation Pure Land Phase One: Ghost Nebula, Aeldari Wanderer Settlements
The Ghost Nebula was a death zone of distorted light composed of supernova remnants. The 217 Aeldari Wanderer settlements were hidden like cancer cells within the folds of this natural barrier.
Alpha-01 sat aboard the flagship annihilation, staring at the 217 flickering red dots on the sensors.
"These Aeldari," his voice carried no emotion, "think they escaped the fall of their Ark Worlds, escaped the destruction of Saim-Hann, and believe they can scrape by hiding in the ruins of the Imperium."
"Tell them they are wrong."
8,747 Dawn-class stealth assault ships emerged simultaneously from the edge of the Warp. They did not arrive via jump; they appeared directly through the Human Federation's newly developed Causality Leap Technology, disturbing no spatial ripples and releasing no energy signals, like foreign objects inserted into the universe's causal chain.
Two hundred and seventeen settlements were raided in the same second. The Aeldari's reaction was astonishingly fast—after all, they were an ancient race that once ruled the galaxy. Even the most fallen wanderers retained an innate psychic alertness. But the Human Federation's preparations were faster than their reactions.
Causality Disruptors were activated across all frequencies the moment the raid began. In 217 star sectors and 217 Aeldari settlements, their internal psychic networks were completely severed within a thousandth of a second. The wanderer farseers opened their mouths to sound a warning, only to find their precognitive abilities like a bird with its throat squeezed, leaving only silent convulsions.
Then came the Purifiers.
That elite force, enhanced by the star god law, equipped with second-generation Living Alloy armor, and repeatedly tempered in the forge of hatred, surged into every Aeldari hiding place like a dark gold tide. The battle was brief and total.
The Aeldari Wanderers' weapons might have been sophisticated, and their movements agile, but when the Causality Disruptors robbed them of their foresight, when the Void Barriers suppressed all their psychic resistance, and when every bullet from the Purifiers carried a genocidal code targeting Aeldari biometrics, their resistance was in vain.
Forty-seven hours.
Two hundred and seventeen Aeldari settlements. A total of 3,074,210,000 Aeldari Wanderers were completely eliminated. No prisoners, no survivors, and no traceable marks.
When the psychic light of the final settlement was completely extinguished, the biomass decomposition clouds deployed by the Annihilator-class carriers reduced every corpse, every drop of blood, and every piece of Wraithbone into basic hydrogen atoms, merging them into the already distorted background radiation of the Ghost Nebula.
