29: Chapter 29 is so abstract, how did the monkeys even understand it?

The monkeys' understanding and the discipline they displayed made An Ke nod in great satisfaction.

"To show this level of discipline before I've even taught them..."

"...will save me a lot of effort going forward."

A disciplined army is certainly far stronger than a mere mob.

Therefore, discipline is crucial if you want to train a brave and battle-ready team.

An Ke had initially thought it would be very difficult, but now it didn't seem so hard after all.

This made An Ke sigh inwardly, 'The [Natural Affinity] is truly amazing!'

Without the [Natural Affinity], Little Scar and the others wouldn't be so well-behaved in front of him.

This made An Ke even more eager to see what benefits the [Natural Affinity] would bring after it leveled up in the future!

Gathering his thoughts,

An Ke smiled and said to Little Scar and the others, "Actually, you don't need to put them back."

"These spears and bows were made for you in the first place."

"Feel free to take them for practice, you can even keep them."

As he spoke, An Ke gestured with his hand.

However, Little Scar and the others didn't pick up the spears and bows again. Instead, they looked at An Ke with confusion.

Some of The monkeys tilted their heads, their round, big eyes wide open.

Only then did An Ke realize they actually couldn't understand human speech.

Or perhaps they could only understand very simple phrases.

If it was too complex or too long, they wouldn't understand.

"Now that's a problem," An Ke stroked his chin, beginning to ponder.

How could he make these monkeys understand what he wanted to convey?

A moment later, An Ke simply walked over to the spears and bows.

He then picked up the spears and bows and distributed them to The monkeys.

This method was the simplest, most direct, and most effective.

Sure enough, just as An Ke had thought,

when he handed them the spears and bows, The monkeys understood his meaning.

He was giving these things to them.

After receiving them, The monkeys began to howl "aowu aowu" one by one.

They circled around An Ke, expressing their happiness in their own unique way.

Their fondness for the spears was evident.

An Ke couldn't help but laugh, "Since you like them, you better practice hard from now on!"

"Strive to learn how to use weapons quickly."

"Alright! You guys go ahead and practice on your own for now. I need to go wash up!"

With that, An Ke paid no more attention to The monkeys.

Instead, he went to the stream to wash up.

Suddenly, An Ke realized King Kong was missing, which made him frown.

Where had that guy gone?

Meanwhile, the [bullet comment] exploded again.

"Is Boss An serious?"

"He made these spears specifically for The monkeys to use?"

"Is Boss An planning to train them to become his armed force?"

"Isn't that idea a bit too outlandish?"

"Can it even be done?"

"..."

Even though the [Dragon Country Masses] supported An Ke deep down,

they still didn't quite believe in teaching monkeys to use weapons.

After all, if monkeys really had that level of intelligence,

wouldn't they be almost half-human?

And the [Foreigners] all voiced their opinions.

"What a joke! Trying to teach monkeys to use weapons?"

"They're monkeys. Clever, yes, but not human in the end."

"Getting them to use weapons is simply impossible."

"Exactly! The [Dragon Country Kid] is laughably naive."

"Does he really think he's in a fairy tale world?"

At that moment, a foreigner claiming to be an animal expert spoke up.

"I am Williams, one of the top biologists in the Beacon."

"While monkeys are indeed close relatives of humans, it's fundamentally impossible for them to learn complex tasks."

"Contestant An Ke is just wasting his energy."

"Once the novelty wears off, these monkeys will discard these weapons."

"However, I must admit, these monkeys are surprisingly intelligent, more so than any monkeys known to exist on Blue Star."

Not only Williams, but many experts and scholars from other countries also appeared in the [live broadcast room] at that moment.

They all agreed with the words of the biologist Williams.

They believed a group of monkeys could never learn to use complex weapons.

Because they probably couldn't even understand what a spear is,

or which end is more lethal.

"Holy crap!? Why are there so many foreign experts and scholars in our [Dragon Country Live Stream Room]?"

"What wind blew them here?"

"Why aren't you busy helping your own contestants, instead of coming to our Dragon Country stream?"

The reason there were so many foreign experts and scholars in the stream today

was mainly because someone had recorded a video of An Ke yesterday, which went viral on foreign websites.

They couldn't understand why the Dragon Country Contestant could make [sea fish] actively swim into a trap.

This completely went against biological instincts.

Thus, these foreign experts and scholars, driven by curiosity, all came to the Dragon Country stream today.

Now, upon learning that An Ke planned to train monkeys to use weapons,

they naturally surfaced to voice their opinions.

Unanimously believing An Ke's idea was impossible to realize.

Inside the live stream,

An Ke naturally had no idea that his actions yesterday had attracted so many foreign experts and scholars.

As he washed up, he pondered the issue of the bow.

The bow Little Scar used was actually his own original bow.

After all, making a bow is much more complex than making a spear.

Ordinary wood simply can't produce a bow of acceptable quality.

He needed to find wood with high flexibility.

After washing up, An Ke finally decided to assign the task of finding materials for bow-making to Little Scar and the others again.

This way, he could save time.

Then, when they returned, he could finish making the bow in the evening when there wasn't much else to do.

An Ke immediately went to Little Scar and the other monkeys. He pointed at the bow, then spread his hands.

Finally, he pointed at the wood.

Meaning, help him find wood suitable for making a bow, as he didn't have that kind of wood now.

This scene drew merciless ridicule from the [Foreigners] in the stream.

"This is hilarious. The [Dragon Country Kid] is unbelievably naive."

"Even I barely understood his gestures, let alone monkeys."

"If these monkeys can understand this, I'll eat shit right now."

"..."

The foreign experts also shook their heads, amused by An Ke's naive idea.

They felt there was no need to continue watching.

Watching the Dragon Country Contestant's abstract actions felt like a challenge to their intelligence.

Yet, this abstract expression from An Ke seemed to be understood by The monkeys.

Little Scar, their king, immediately let out a call to The monkeys.

Clearly issuing some kind of command.

With Little Scar's command,

The monkeys immediately excitedly left the camp, heading off in all directions.

It seemed they were really going to search for raw materials for the bow.

In the [live broadcast room], the foreign experts and scholars' eyes widened bit by bit.

"So abstract, yet they understood?" ]
