185: Section 185

"What's going on?"

"I don't know. The system says the pressure valve is leaking, but we just replaced that thing yesterday!"

As expected...

On the screen, the athlete named Kurt grabbed an iron rod from the doorway, his eyes reddening as he roared:

"Watch out, Jules... something is approaching!"

His girlfriend, Jules, planted a fierce kiss on Kurt's lips, then grabbed a shovel and growled:

"Darling, isn't that even better? Hehe, more exciting than a romp in the woods!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the two of them went howling into the depths of the woods.

While sprinting, they energetically swung their iron rod and shovel, hacking the low bushes to pieces.

Suddenly, a rotting corpse stumbled out from behind a tree.

According to the script, girlfriend Jules was supposed to scream, get tackled to the ground by the corpse, and then meet her end amidst laughter.

However,

"You ugly piece of trash, drop dead!"

With a loud thwack, she brought the shovel down.

Half of the corpse's skull was sent flying.

Kurt gave a low roar and swung the rod in a full arc, knocking off the corpse's remaining half-skull.

Thump!

The corpse collapsed to the ground.

Amidst the dead branches and fallen leaves, the two young people embraced passionately...

But... in the underground control room, it was deathly silent...

People's joys and sorrows are not the same...

At this moment... they only felt that these two were noisy... 0.7...

"Fuck! The redneck zombie was killed by them?"

"Holy shit! Turner, were you kicked in the head by a donkey? I told you to inject them with an aphrodisiac, not a berserker agent!"

"I, I... damn..."

The supervisor's face darkened, and with a grim expression, he ordered:

"Execution department, listen up! Initiate Plan-B! Release at least three times as many monster specimens. The sacrificial ritual must not fail!"

Su Ming, standing behind the crowd, curled the corners of his lips.

This was what he wanted.

Just a moment ago, he had used the Order of the Star-Forging Authority to forcibly distort the molecular formula of the pheromones.

The aphrodisiac function had been magically altered to maximize the stimulation of combat instincts!

Of course, Su Ming's actions didn't stop there.

The next instant, a staff member exclaimed:

"Oh no, Plan-B won't start. The release system is completely locked down!"

Chapter 208: Feast and the Depression of Negative Emotions

"What?"

The supervisor froze, then abruptly stood up from his seat.

But worse reports followed in quick succession.

"Environmental system lost control! Damn it, the surrounding environment is reverting to its natural state!"

"Power system lost control!"

"Communication module is being interfered with! Fuck! Which lunatic is conducting nuclear tests nearby?"

"Access control system is completely paralyzed! Supervisor! Think of something, otherwise, there's going to be big trouble!"

The bad news from the technicians came in like a tide, and a suffocating sense of oppression, mixed with a spine-chilling terror, spread rapidly.

"This... this isn't a technical error! Everyone, I think our system is experiencing a full-scale intrusion!"

As soon as these words were spoken, it was as if a high-yield dirty bomb had been detonated on the spot!

Fear spread rapidly.

No one knew better than they did just how lethal a site without system control could be.

"Damn it! Motherfucker!"

Slamming his fist on the table in anger, the supervisor roared with a ferocious expression:

"Cut off the external network immediately! Activate all firewalls, restart the system! Hurry! Notify the security department and have them drag out the rat causing trouble behind our backs!"

Elegance was gone, poise was gone.

Replaced by a suffocation and fear as thick as asphalt.

While the command center was full of panic, on the screen, the situation spiraled completely out of control.

The script went completely haywire.

The [fool] named Marty suddenly had a flash of inspiration.

He pried a hidden camera out of the corner of the wall.

"Fuck! I knew it! All of this was arranged! This is a reality show, and we're just lab rats in the show!"

Watching the young man on the screen screaming hysterically at the camera, a technician shouted a reminder:

"Turn off this idiot's audio! I've had enough of this moron's stupidity."

"I can't! The system has completely fallen; we can't even open the access doors now!"

Chaos spread like a plague.

Panic washed over them like a tide.

Piercing alarms rang out in unison, and red warning lights flashed one after another.

A look of ruthlessness flashed across the supervisor's face.

"Damn it, don't expect us to just surrender! Initiate the site's final defense protocol, activate the Last Stand Plan!"

The Last Stand Plan!

It was a manually activated nuclear warhead used when the ritual was declared a failure and the site was breached by hostile forces! The goal was to use the high heat of a nuclear explosion to cleanse the entire regional site and related containment facilities.

However, the turning of the red key only produced a clicking sound.

Immediately afterward... there was nothing else.

Not even the evacuation warning broadcast by the system sounded.

In its place was an instruction code never seen before!

[Protocol: WildHunt?!]

(Protocol: Wild Hunt)

The next instant, the entire base shook violently.

The four walls of the central control room slowly flipped and detached, then disintegrated into dust under the influence of an invisible force.

Countless containment chambers, constructed from alloy frames and translucent force fields, rapidly reorganized like a Rubik's cube amidst the inexplicably shining starlight.

During the process, the sound of clicking was endless.

The mechanical coupling sounds that had been commonplace before now carried a frantic, eerie murderous intent.

"Oh no! No, no, no, no... you can't do this! Please, don't touch those cubes!"

"God! Look at those containment cubes, their structures are malfunctioning!"

"Damn it, who exactly is targeting us?"

"Quick, find a way to contact other sites, we need backup!"

"It's too late... God... the apocalypse is coming!"

The people in the control room looked desperate, staring in terror at the hundreds of containment cubes around them.

The sound of metal locks constantly opening and closing.

It was like a gloomy, unsettling heavy metal rhapsody.

All containment cubes opened automatically, one after another, without any human control.

The werewolf flared its nostrils, then let out a fierce roar!

The alien monster whispered and wriggled out to escape!

In the singing filled with innocent children's voices, the malice like a tide could hardly be concealed!

The roar of chainsaws buzzed, and the scent of blood swept through!

The Vampire flapped its wings and took flight, its bat wings blotting out the sky!

The shrill, piercing screams of vengeful spirits were eerie and venomous!

Countless terrifying sounds rose from low to high, emerging from all directions!

After echoing through the cavities of the containment cubes, they converged into a symphony of death!

Staff in white coats fled in a sorry state, fully armed security personnel scattered in despair, and the chaos within the base reached its climax!

This was a desperate situation!

It was also the beginning of a blood feast!

The central control room was in utter chaos.

"Security doors! Close those damn security doors!"

"Fuck, I can't! The access control system is locked, we've lost all permissions!"

"Who did this? Motherfucker! Who the hell did this?"

"Don't ask who the fuck did it! I don't know! I only know that we're done for... everything is over!"

The commotion of the crowd did not affect Hexi.

But Hexi was curious; Su Ming caused such a huge scene, surely it wasn't just to direct a horror documentary, right? That wasn't Su Ming's style.
