200: Chapter 200 What a bunch of beasts!

"Zhang Chuchu, push open that door." Su Yun's voice came from the phone speaker.

The voice wasn't loud, but it was extremely powerful.

Upon hearing this, Sun Yu sprang up from the ground as if he had been electrocuted.

His eyes were wide open, nearly popping out of their sockets.

Sun Yu scrambled toward the end of the hallway.

"You can't open it!" Sun Yu shrieked at the top of his lungs, his voice completely distorted. "No one is allowed inside! This is private property! You're trespassing!"

He hadn't even taken two steps before the bystanders nearby couldn't stand it any longer.

A food delivery rider in a blue uniform simply stuck out his foot.

Sun Yu tripped and fell face-first, crashing heavily onto the tiled floor.

His front teeth hit the floor, and half of one was knocked right off.

Two other kind-hearted men rushed forward, pinning him down from both sides.

"Stay still!" the man roared in a rough voice.

"You scumbag, feeling guilty, aren't you?" Another man slapped the back of Sun Yu's head. "Master Su told you to open it, so you open it! Why are you trying to stop them?"

Sun Yu's mouth was full of blood, yet he was still struggling desperately.

Zhang Chuchu gritted her teeth and got up from the ground.

She held up her phone, walking step by step toward the heavy iron door.

Her hands were shaking violently. She was terrified of what cruel scene she might see behind that door; all she could think of was Da Huang covered in blood.

But she had to go; this was Master Su's instruction.

The iron door wasn't locked, and Zhang Chuchu pushed it open with force.

The iron door emitted a harsh, grating sound, and the hallway lights shone into the room beyond.

The millions of viewers in the livestream saw the scene behind the door through Zhang Chuchu's phone camera.

The chat barrage stopped completely for a full five seconds.

Behind the door was a large basement, the air thick with the pungent stench of blood and excrement.

Against the walls, dozens of rusty iron cages were stacked densely.

Inside every cage was a cat or a dog.

Not a single one was unharmed.

The camera swept over the first cage.

A pure white Samoyed lay inside; both its eyes were gone, leaving only two bloody pits in its sockets.

Blood dripped down its white fur.

The second cage.

A Ragdoll cat huddled in the corner, all four of its legs broken, its fur matted with dried blood.

Even its breathing was faint.

The third cage.

A Husky had a dislocated jaw, and half its tongue was mangled.

Seeing someone enter, it scrambled frantically to the back of the cage in terror.

The fourth cage.

A little Corgi's back was covered in severe burns, its flesh exposed, with a few flies even crawling over the wounds.

Seeing the light, these animals didn't even have the strength to cry out; there was only the sound of whimpering filled with extreme terror.

In the center of the basement stood a dilapidated wooden table.

Scattered on the table were several blood-stained baseball bats and two claw hammers caked with bits of flesh.

Beside them lay a high-powered black stun gun.

Zhang Chuchu's stomach churned violently, and she leaned against the wall, retching.

Su Yun sat in front of his computer, watching the screen.

His expression turned incredibly grim.

These traffic-chasers—their hearts are darker than rats in a sewer.

Using such bottom-feeding tactics to scam money—do they really think the heavens are blind?

"Zhang Chuchu, point the camera at the wall on the right," Su Yun commanded.

Zhang Chuchu forced back her nausea and turned the phone.

A massive whiteboard hung on the wall, covered in text written with a red marker.

The camera zoomed in, and the entire online audience clearly saw what was written on it.

This wasn't any kind of schedule; it was a heinous script for scamming money.

"Monday: Golden Retriever Da Huang. Plot: Abandoned after being abused by previous owner and having hind legs broken. Crowdfunding goal: 100,000."

"Tuesday: Ragdoll cat. Plot: Eyes gouged out by a pervert. Crowdfunding goal: 120,000."

"Wednesday: Samoyed. Plot: Paralyzed after being run over by a car. Crowdfunding goal: 150,000."

"Thursday: Stray mutt. Plot: Scalded with boiling water. Crowdfunding goal: 80,000."

At the very bottom of the whiteboard, a line of large text was written.

"Note: The wounds must look realistic. Be ruthless; the more miserable they look, the more money we can scam."

"Start the stream immediately after finishing. Don't forget to use eye drops to fake crying."

This whiteboard completely shattered Sun Yu's hypocritical mask.

The livestream exploded, the chat barrage flooding the screen like a tsunami.

"Fuck! Is he even human?!"

"Beast! A thousand cuts wouldn't be enough to satisfy the hatred!"

"I actually tipped this scumbag 500 yuan just now! I want to slap myself twice!"

"Brothers, I can't take it anymore. I'm going to Jiangcheng to hack him to pieces!"

"My God, those little animals must be in so much pain! How could he bring himself to do it?!"

The top donor in A-Mao's livestream, user 'Only Love Small Animals,' had initially been watching from the sidelines.

After seeing the whiteboard, he posted a bolded comment.

"Sun Yu, I fuck your ancestors for eight generations! Refund!"

"I gave you 200,000 yuan this year! You used my money to harm these cats and dogs!"

"I have already called the police! You wait to die!"

After sending that comment, the top donor immediately deleted his account.

In the hallway, Sun Yu was still pinned down by the two men, struggling desperately.

He knew he was finished. Once the police arrived, he would be looking at a lifetime behind bars.

Sun Yu took advantage of the man pinning him down getting distracted by his phone, and bit down hard on the man's wrist.

The man cried out in pain and loosened his grip. Sun Yu scrambled to his feet and bolted toward the back exit of the clinic.

He had already scouted the route; the back door connected to a complex network of alleys in the urban village.

Once he slipped inside, no one would ever find him.

Su Yun sat in front of his computer, watching this scene, and let out a cold laugh.

"Want to run?"

"Do you think you can get away?"

Su Yun spoke directly into his microphone.

"Delivery rider, take some people to the alley at the back entrance. Behind the third trash can on the left, there's a dead end. Block him off."

Upon hearing Su Yun's words, the delivery rider didn't hesitate. He rallied a few bystanders and rushed outside.

"Brothers, grab something! Don't let this bastard get away!"

Sun Yu had just burst through the back door and reached the alley entrance.

He ran straight into a human wall.

Seven or eight delivery riders and bystanders in various clothes, holding helmets and mops, blocked the alley entrance completely.

"Run then. Try running again," the lead delivery rider sneered.

"You heartless piece of trash, if you walk out of here today, I'll take your last name!" the uncle holding the mop cursed.

Sun Yu's legs went weak, and he collapsed to his knees.

Su Yun's voice continued to come from Zhang Chuchu's phone, echoing throughout the entire clinic.

"Everyone, don't be in a rush to lay hands on him; it'll just dirty your hands."

"This 'Love for Life' pet clinic is nothing but a hollow shell from start to finish."

Su Yun pulled up the data from his system panel and read it out loud.

"The business license is fake; they have absolutely no medical qualifications here."

"That doctor in the white coat who just performed surgery on Da Huang—his real name is Li Qiang."

"He's not a veterinarian at all; he's just Sun Yu's gambling buddy."

"He used to be a butcher. In this clinic, he was specifically responsible for using hammers and knives to inflict fake wounds on the animals."

"Sun Yu was responsible for stealing the dogs, and Li Qiang was responsible for maiming them. They teamed up to scam money and split the profits."

As soon as he said this, the bystanders were so enraged their eyes turned red.

"Drag that fake doctor out too!" someone shouted.

Just then, the sound of urgent sirens came from the distance.

It wasn't just one police car. It was over a dozen, sirens wailing as they surrounded the place from all directions.

The Jiangcheng Police had received Su Yun's direct report, combined with the frantic mass reporting from millions of netizens.

The Municipal Bureau took it extremely seriously and dispatched a large number of police officers. Heavily armed police stormed into the pet clinic.
