245: The terror of the Overlord Fist
"Little friend, if you are free now, I will have Master take you to meet the other Prodigies participating in the assessment."
"I will contact the Upper Realm now and finalize the spots for this assessment."
Ji Mo nodded. Since he had already made his decision to come, he naturally had no objections.
The Plane Lord nodded toward Master.
Master led the way, with Ji Mo and Elder Mu following behind, as they walked out of the small courtyard.
The three arrived at a massive Training Ground, where the Martial Dao atmosphere was dense and various Laws permeated the air, making it truly a Holy Land for Cultivation.
In various corners of this Training Ground, dozens of young talents were practicing the Martial Dao, either sitting cross-legged in meditation or practicing Martial Skills.
The arrival of the three startled many people. These handsome men and beautiful women opened their eyes, and instantly, the entire Training Ground was filled with the gleam of blades and shadows of swords, all formed by the intent in their gaze.
What they had in common was that their cultivation bases were all at the Imperial Rank, and their expressions were arrogant.
They ignored Elder Mu and Master, their gazes entirely locked onto Ji Mo, filled with scrutiny.
At this moment, Master suddenly spoke:
"Little friend, these are the Prodigies gathered by the Plane Lord from various places. None are over 40 years old, and all can fight above their rank and possess trump card techniques."
Ji Mo could tell this; the Aura of these people was much stronger than that of the likes of Lu Hong.
Just then, a flash of spear light passed by, and a youth instantly teleported in front of the group. He was at the third level of the Imperial Rank, his body straight as a spear, and his Aura soared to the heavens.
He glanced at Ji Mo disdainfully, then turned to Master and said:
"Master, this person isn't also going to participate in the assessment, is he?"
"Yes, his name is Ji Mo, a rather monstrous Prodigy," Master smiled faintly. "You all should get to know Ji Mo; you'll need to support each other when you reach the High-Level Plane."
"Master, you must be mistaken! He's only at the Saint Rank!" The youth's face was mocking. "He's not some connected relative from a major Family, is he?"
"No matter how strong his connections are, they'll be useless up there. He's just throwing his life away and wasting a spot. It would be better to give the spot to my Junior Sister."
"My younger sister is at least Imperial Rank, with a two-inch Sword Soul, and has killed a powerhouse at the fourth level of the Imperial Rank. She's hundreds of times stronger than this ant in front of us."
Master did not answer him, instead turning his gaze toward Ji Mo.
Ji Mo shrugged, "Master, would killing him be a problem?"
Master did not say yes or no. Stroking his beard, he only spoke six words: "Resolve it among yourselves."
"Hahaha! Did you hear that? This kid says he wants to kill me."
Even the Prodigies watching the show couldn't help but laugh aloud. Which Family's idiot was this? Too accustomed to acting high and mighty at home, he clearly didn't know the cruelty of the outside world.
"Now, I will cripple you. At least you'll keep your life. You should thank me."
A towering Aura locked onto Ji Mo, and a two-inch Spear Soul emerged from his body, looking as if it would nail him dead with a single strike.
"Perfect, I'll use you to test the new Move I just learned."
A cruel smile also covered Ji Mo's face. He currently enjoyed nothing more than swatting these clowns to death.
The God Slaying Art activated in that instant, and the strength of three million Dragons surged into every inch of his Meridians.
"Star Plucking Hand!"
A substantial Protective Aura large hand extended from Ji Mo's arm, resembling a Titan's giant arm, and violently slammed down toward the youth.
How could he possibly resist the strength of six million Dragons?
All spear light and Spear Souls would be crushed before absolute power.
"Bang!"
The ground trembled. Ji Mo retracted the substantial giant arm, and looking at the ground, a thin meat patty lay at the bottom of a large crater.
The deceased departed peacefully, without any pain.
Ji Mo was very satisfied with the power of this Move; it was much stronger than the Qi and blood flood Dragon he usually produced, as the power was doubled.
He smiled wickedly, "Are there any other stray cats or dogs that want to challenge me? As long as you are prepared to die, I can satisfy you."
"Anyway, going to the High-Level Plane assessment, you would just be cannon fodder. Dying here or dying there—what's the difference? Dying here can at least feed back into our Plane, counting as a contribution."
These so-called Prodigies were accustomed to arrogance within their own factions and completely looked down upon anyone whose status was not equal to theirs.
Ji Mo actually felt quite sorry for them. They couldn't imagine the strength of the Geniuses in the High-Level Plane, nor did they realize they were essentially livestock waiting to be slaughtered.
The Plane Lord constantly gathered Prodigies every year mostly to comfort himself and try his luck; expecting too much hope was simply unrealistic.
"You just arrived, yet your methods are so brutal. Isn't that a bit too much?"
At this moment, a youth dressed in a noble python robe walked forward and accused Ji Mo.
"I, the Crown Prince, am the Crown Prince of the First Imperial Dynasty of the Zihua Plane. I possess the Supreme Imperial Blood and am destined to achieve the God Rank in the future."
"You killed someone right in front of me, the Crown Prince, to establish your might, and the person you killed was my servant. Clearly, you don't take me seriously."
"I'll give you a chance now: kneel down, choose to submit to me, and take his place. Only then will you have a sliver of hope for survival."
This Imperial Prince, at the sixth level of the Imperial Rank, was indeed a rarely seen powerful Prodigy, so it was no wonder he was so arrogant and condescending.
Ji Mo glanced at Master, seeing him merely squinting and stroking his beard without intervening, which allowed Ji Mo to act even more recklessly.
"There really are many people unafraid of death. Everyone who wants trouble, stand out now to save me the hassle later. Don't try to show off your status in front of me; before me, all living beings are equal."
These arrogant words infuriated quite a few people, and several actually walked forward to stand behind the Crown Prince.
"Your Highness the Crown Prince, let us capture this brat and deliver him to you as a slave."
Several people volunteered, wanting to show off in front of the Crown Prince so they could receive protection upon reaching the Upper Realm.
"Hahaha, no need! You can all hit the road together!"
"Star Plucking Hand, Armament Cover!"
The gigantic hand reaching the heavens extended once more from Ji Mo's right arm. The heaven and earth furnace materialized into armored plating, covering Ji Mo and the giant hand.
A sky-supporting giant palm, glowing with steel radiance, floated in the air and swept down toward the people in front of him.
"Haha, just as I thought! Damage doubled."
"With the strength of twelve million Dragons, what will you use to block this? And can you even block it?"
The giant palm blotted out the sky and sun, with sealing runes appearing on its surface, containing a unique power.
"Spare us!" The targeted individuals' eyes twitched, their faces pale as paper, and sweat poured down like rain!
Only this Imperial Prince could manage a reluctant counterattack under Ji Mo's power.
"I am the Crown Prince, the number one Prodigy of the Plane! How could I possibly lose to a mere Saint Rank?"
"Destruction Blade, shatter everything."
A battle saber flew out from his body, carrying terrifying Imperial Dao Laws.
"Bang!"
Unfortunately, it was completely useless. The giant palm slammed down, crushing the few people, along with the battle saber, fiercely onto the ground.
The few people never managed to let out a second scream, instantly being smashed into a bloody mist by this terrifying power, leaving nothing but dust.
Everyone else was terrified by Ji Mo's strike, trembling all over, watching him with horrified eyes.
"A bunch of trash."
