390: Chapter 377 Farewell and Ascension

"What's wrong, Divine Lord?" Nezha, seeing Lin Feng's expression was off, dropped his playful grin and asked nervously.

Lin Feng looked up, his gaze seemingly piercing through the Federation Building, through the Thirty-Three Heavens, and into the depths beyond the endless Chaos.

There, a presence older and more powerful than the Primordial Realm existed.

"Nezha."

Lin Feng's voice became somewhat ethereal, tinged with a hint of anticipation.

"It seems my vacation has come to an end."

"This pond can no longer contain a big fish like me."

Nezha paused, then immediately understood. A flash of reluctance, even panic, crossed his eyes. "You're leaving? Where to? Somewhere even further than Zixiao Palace?"

"Perhaps."

Lin Feng reached out and patted Nezha's head (though Nezha was resistant, he didn't dodge this time).

"Grandmist."

"Perhaps that is where I will find opponents that make my blood boil. My journey is the sea of stars."

Dong Sheng Shen Zhou, Fengshen Platform.

On this day, every screen and every holographic projection across the entire Primordial Federation automatically switched to the same image.

The Fengshen Platform.

This place was once where Jiang Ziya conferred the gods, and it was also the place where the old era ended. Today, it would witness an even greater farewell.

Lin Feng stood atop the high platform.

He was not wearing his mighty God-Slaying Armor today, nor his sharp parliamentary suit, but had changed back into the simple T-shirt and jeans he wore when he first experienced Transmigration.

This symbolized his original intention.

It also symbolized letting go.

Below the stage, there was a sea of people.

There were high-ranking officials of the Federation, various demon kings, Sect Heads of major sects, and countless ordinary citizens who had come spontaneously. Some of them had even piloted their spaceships for tens of thousands of miles just to catch one last glimpse of this legendary Divine Lord.

Standing at the very front were the people closest to Lin Feng.

Princess Yao Ji, the former eldest princess of the Heavenly Court, had slightly reddened eyes at this moment. She looked at the high-spirited man on the stage, a thousand words in her heart, which ultimately transformed into a gentle gaze. She knew he belonged to a vaster sky; she could not be his shackle, only his harbor.

Nezha turned his head away, pretending to wipe his Wind Fire Wheels, while actually concealing the tears in his eyes. He gritted his teeth, not wanting others to see his weakness.

The Monkey King carried his Golden Cudgel on his shoulder, scratching his ears and cheeks, and finally shouted, "Big Brother! If you meet any powerful demons over there, remember to save some for me! I'll go there too later! When that happens, we'll cause another scene!"

Erlang Shen, with his Xiaotian Dog, wore a solemn expression and bowed deeply to Lin Feng. It was a gesture of respect for a powerful being and gratitude to a benefactor.

Lin Feng looked at these familiar faces, feeling a sense of emotion. Ten years of time, though brief, felt as if everyone here was his family.

"Everyone."

Lin Feng began to speak; his voice didn't need an amplifier to clearly reach every corner, transmitting into the heart of every single person.

"All good things must come to an end."

"Over these past ten years, everyone has done well. The world has improved, life has improved, and I am very gratified. This prosperous age is as I wished."

"But I am someone who cannot stay idle. There are no more monsters for me to grind, no more bosses for me to fight. I feel like my bones are degenerating; if I stay any longer, I'll become an old man who only knows how to stamp documents."

A wave of good-natured laughter came from below, but the laughter was tinged with deep reluctance.

"So I have decided to go out and take a look."

"To go to that legendary Grandmist world, to that high-dimensional plane filled with gods and demons."

Lin Feng paused, his expression becoming serious.

"After I leave, the Federation's power will be handed over to the council. Nezha, Erlang Shen, Kong Xuan, you are responsible for national defense. Goddess Nuwa will be responsible for scientific research. Master Tongtian will be responsible for education. Everyone, stick to your duties and don't stir up any trouble."

"Remember the rule I established: All beings are equal."

"Whoever dares to turn this world back into that cannibalistic era from before…"

Lin Feng raised his fist and lightly swung it at the Void Realm, an invisible ripple causing the space to crack open.

"No matter how far I go, I will return and twist his head off to use as a ball! Do you understand?"

"Boom!"

An invisible pressure swept across the scene, and everyone felt a tremor in their hearts, shouting in unison: "We will strictly obey the Divine Lord's decree!"

"Farewell to the Divine Lord!"

Lin Feng nodded, no longer lingering.

He turned and looked at the Void Realm above his head.

"System... oh no, Law of the Great Dao, open the passage."

"Hum!"

Following Lin Feng's will, the once-impenetrable barrier of the Primordial Realm's space suddenly cracked open, revealing a huge fissure.

Inside that fissure flowed purple Primordial Qi, emitting a high-dimensional energy fluctuation that was both heart-palpitating and alluring. It was an energy completely different from Spiritual Qi—purer and more vast.

That was the gate to the Divine Realm (Hongmeng Realm).

Lin Feng took a deep breath, stepped forward, and his body slowly ascended.

When he flew to the edge of the fissure, he turned back one last time to look at this world where he had struggled, fought, and made changes.

He saw Princess Yao Ji waving, Nezha saluting, and billions of living beings kneeling. This land bore the weight of his passion and youth.

"Goodbye, Primordial Realm."

"I will miss the hotpot and barbecue here. When I become the boss of the Hongmeng Realm, I'll come back and treat you all to a meal!"

Lin Feng grinned, his smile still as bright as that young man from the beginning, filled with a longing for the unknown.

Then, he turned and stepped into the purple fissure without hesitation.
