8: Chapter 8: Getting Started with Fitness

bitcoin was originally proposed by Satoshi Nakamoto on November 1, 2008, and was officially born on January 3, 2009. It is essentially a virtual, encrypted digital currency in P2P form.

Because bitcoin does not belong to the official currency issued by any country in the world, its decentralized nature also makes bitcoin transactions difficult for national authorities to regulate.
