2: Understand the situation
Looking closely, his one-year-old younger brother, Xu Le, was sitting next to him, crying loudly, while the dog Fugui was tugging at Xu Bai's tattered clothes.
He didn't want to think about what would happen later; he just wanted to solve the current situation first.
Xu Bai snatched the clothes from the dog's mouth, picked up his younger brother, and began to comfort him.
"Don't cry, don't cry, what's wrong? Why are you crying?"
Xu Bai patted his younger brother's back while asking him the reason for his tears.
But the child had cried too hard earlier; although he had stopped crying now, he was still sniffling and hiccuping, unable to answer Xu Bai's question for a while.
Xu Bai recalled the knowledge he had gained from watching videos: when a child cries, he either needs to go to the bathroom or is hungry.
After checking Xu Le's diaper, Xu Bai silently walked downstairs to prepare milk formula for the child.
Half an hour later.
A full Xu Bai, a well-fed Xu Le, and the dog Fugui, who was gnawing on a bone to grind his teeth, were all leaning on the sofa together.
After eating and drinking, it was time to play with his phone, and Xu Bai also wanted to understand the current situation first.
He pulled out a newspaper and began to read today's headlines:
1. The Luo Lan Empire has created the 'Steam Locomotive' cards! A groundbreaking invention.
2. The Tianlong Republic has launched a new Coal Card, one of which is stronger than six!
3. Two major food corporations will launch new flavor food cardss on July 1st; let's see who comes out on top.
4. Shocking! A man from the Liushuang Empire held a wedding with a cards!
5. How to make cardss for beginners.
After thoroughly examining the detailed information in these newspapers, Xu Bai found this world both logical and absurd.
Production was in the midst of the First Industrial Revolution. Yet, people's lives were similar to contemporary times, only lacking some convenient daily necessities, but illogically, there were cardss and cards readers.
In reality, Xu Bai could already live a life of leisure, but people don't live just to lie flat. It's like we don't hate working; we just hate working without money.
Since he had already come to another world and had the 'golden finger' of memories from another world, he was unwilling to live such an ordinary life.
Moreover, he had to raise this little guy beside him. Children are known to be money-guzzlers. Who knows how much it will cost later.
However, Xu Bai was not worried about this. Although he hadn't decided what cards to make for a while, it wasn't that he couldn't make one; rather, he had too many ideas and couldn't settle on one for the time being.
Oh, this was a happy problem!
"Brother, ah-ma, ah-ma."
His younger brother once again interrupted Xu Bai's thoughts, and Xu Bai looked at him.
Seeing his brother look over, Xu Le grinned foolishly, revealing his adorable little dimples.
He handed the toy by his side to his brother.
What worries could a child have, besides eating, drinking, pooping, and playing?
Reaching out to take the toy, Xu Bai's nose caught a strange smell.
He picked up the little guy, poked his cute little dimples, and pulled open his diaper to see that the little guy had pooped.
Xu Bai had a huge headache. In his previous life, he was an older single man, but now he had to start a life of raising a child.
He took Xu Le to the bathroom. Fortunately, all the supplies were complete. Because of cardss, only a little space was needed for storage, and his family also sold cardss. Life cardss were very popular, and there were many at home.
Xu Bai first cleaned and dried his younger brother, then took out a diaper cards from the drawer and inserted it into the cards reader on his wrist, and a brand new diaper appeared.
However, changing diapers was also a challenge. After quite a struggle, beads of sweat appeared on Xu Bai's forehead.
The result, of course, was gratifying; he finally finished changing Xu Le's diaper.
