19: The flames rising into the sky reveal righteousness!

"Ding! Congratulations to the Host for breaking through to Demon Origin Realm First Level!"

"Ding! Host has killed the Demon Origin Realm Seventh Level demonic beast, Windtail Boa King! Gained 7 attribute points!"

"Ding! Host has killed the Demon Qi Realm Ninth Level demonic beast, Scarlet Poison Leopard! Gained 0.5 attribute points!"

"Ding! Host has killed the Demon Qi Realm Ninth Level demonic beast…"

After the explosion ended, Chen De's figure vaguely emerged from the dust.

During this explosion, Chen De was first shattered into several pieces, and then not even a speck of dust remained.

However, because Chen De chose to upgrade, he ultimately survived completely unscathed.

But while he survived, the pain of that explosion was very real.

It really hurt!

Chen De looked around. He was now in a massive pit with a diameter of a thousand meters.

Most of the demonic beasts that were close to Chen De before were blown to smithereens.

A small number that were further away were either shaken to death, leaving their bodies intact, or were blasted into fragments and flung away by the explosion's shockwaves.

Although the Windtail Boa King was closest to Chen De, its realm was still significantly higher than the other demonic beasts.

Even though its body was also torn into pieces, some remnants were preserved and scattered far away.

Chen De walked out of the deep pit and quickly found a piece of the Windtail Boa King's body.

It was half a face with one eye. Chen De walked closer to examine it.

That eye seemed to be still staring intently at Chen De, bloodshot and filled with unwillingness, anger, and hatred.

There was also a hint of regret, as if something had not been prepared.

But all of this was meaningless to Chen De. Such an expression was utterly inconsequential to him.

The defeated are nameless; no one cares how a loser failed.

Chen De looked at the eyeball and said indifferently, "This is just a means."

This world is so cruel; the strong will only favor the strong, not the strong's opponents.

Insufficient strength is destined for sorrow!

That's why a great responsibility was bestowed upon this person, allowing Chen De to change this world with morality.

Only by personally doing this did Chen De deeply feel the heavy responsibility on his shoulders.

He was forced into it; if anyone is to blame, blame ambitious individuals like the Shadow Wolf King!

None of this had anything to do with him, Chen De; he was also a victim.

Let all the blame fall on the Shadow Wolf King!

So many lives died because of him, a kind person like him.

Didn't the Shadow Wolf King know how heartbroken and conflicted he was when he acted?

Wanting to push a good person like Chen De into the abyss of evil.

Unfortunately, Chen De remained unmoved, still maintaining a righteous and kind heart.

Indeed, he, Chen De, was still a good person!

The Shadow Wolf King was truly too evil; so many lives died because of it.

Although Chen De was the one who killed them, Chen De was innocent!

So, what's the difference between this and the Shadow Wolf King killing them personally!

Chen De swore to act on behalf of Heaven and collect the corresponding reward. Hmm, he would take the reward himself.

Also, Chen De was not the kind of person who would resort to any means for profit.

Everything Chen De did was morally obtained; it was what he deserved.

Then, Chen De tried to feel the power within his body.

Unexpectedly, a mere 0.1 difference between attribute values resulted in a world of difference in the power unleashed.

For example, in terms of attack power, the damage dealt by Chen De's current skills had increased by at least tenfold.

This made Chen De somewhat eager to return quickly and show filial piety to his adoptive father.

However, this matter could not be rushed; it was not yet time. Before that, Chen De still needed to tally his gains from this trip.

So many demonic beasts were killed in the explosion, and although all but the Windtail Boa King were counted at the minimum quantity.

But the sheer number was high, so the harvest should be considerable!

Realm: Demon Origin Realm First Level

Race: Celestial Crystal Armored Rat (A demonic beast with a trace of ancient bloodline)

Talent 1: Giant Force (A talent possessed by every ant-type demonic beast, ancient bloodline, higher bonus, permanently increases strength by 50%)

Talent 3: God Shield (Naturally immune to 20% of mental attacks)

Strength: 10 (1:1)

Attribute Points: 19 / 30

Skill 1: Divine Crystal Armor (Activated)

Skill 2: Tianjing Extermination Slash (Activated)

Skill 3: Heavenly Revelation Aurora Seal (Activated)

Cultivation Method: Celestial Light Scripture

After tallying some attribute points, Chen De roughly accounted for twenty-four Demon Qi Realm Ninth Level demonic beasts, gaining 12 attribute points.

The Windtail Boa King provided him with seven.

Chen De believed these were their gifts to him, and Chen De would make good use of them.

Presumably, they would be very pleased to see how Chen De used these to benefit the world from the underworld!

After all, their deaths actually had nothing to do with Chen De; no matter how much they blamed, they couldn't blame Chen De!

Chen De even had to use these to avenge them, disregarding past grievances, which would be a great kindness to them.

So Chen De had a clear conscience about this matter, for a righteous person fears no slander.

For these attribute points, Chen De allocated all of them to the speed attribute.

For the upcoming events, it would be better to maximize his escape ability.

As the saying goes, as long as one is alive, everything can be started anew.

Then, thinking that since the Windtail Boa King was already dead, Chen De should also accept its legacy, ah no, its bequest.

Chen De carried its last wishes and hopes, so he was rightfully to accept those bequests.

During the continuous friendly matches with the Windtail Boa King and its kind, Chen De had almost traversed this entire area.

And because of his great love, Chen De was unwilling to disturb other demonic beasts, so he always limited the battlefield to the Eastern Vortex Forest.

It could be said that Chen De had visited the Windtail Boa King's cave dwelling no less than five times.

Previously, he hadn't entered to save time, but this time he was here to legitimately inherit the bequest.

Upon entering the cave dwelling, Chen De saw two small Windtail Boas huddled together, trembling.

Hearing Chen De's movement, they looked at him fearfully.

The larger one, though afraid, still unhesitatingly shielded the smaller one behind him.

Chen De saw that the larger Windtail Boa was female, and the smaller one was male.

Chen De immediately realized that this was the Windtail Boa's test for him, to see if Chen De had the determination to inherit its bequest and confront the Shadow Wolf King.

So, it placed these two original inheritors on the path of inheriting the bequest to test him.

Chen De understood this was a common scenario in the struggle for succession.

Although Chen De was not its heir, he inherited its dying wish, so it was close enough!

The Windtail Boa King was using its only two remaining descendants to fulfill him, Chen De!

What profound righteousness!

Chen De was filled with immense admiration. Therefore, although Chen De felt a pang of reluctance, to not disappoint the Windtail Boa King's last wish.

He immediately struck out the moment he saw them, eradicating these two small Windtail Boas!

Seeing the larger Windtail Boa still charging at Chen De, trying to let the smaller one escape first.

Chen De secretly thought these two were truly unfilial; in front of him, their father's inheritor, they should have stood there waiting for death. How dare they resist?

Chen De, deeply feeling he could not betray the Windtail Boa King's good intentions.

His strikes became even more ruthless, instantly tearing the larger one into pieces.

The smaller Windtail Boa was stunned, so Chen De flashed to its front.

The smaller one seemed not to have recovered from the death of the larger one before Chen De flattened its head.

Then Chen De exerted force, crushing its flattened head into a paste.

Chen De had to use the most decisive means to not disappoint the Windtail Boa King's good intentions towards him.

Actually, Chen De didn't want to kill them at all, and even less did he intend to cut off the roots; truly!

His main purpose was to purge the Windtail Boa King's household. He was a kind person; how could he do such a thing?

Then Chen De no longer hesitated. After searching through the Windtail Boa King's cave dwelling and finding over thirty mid-grade spirit herbs, he left.

After an unknown amount of time, there was movement in the cave dwelling again.

An even smaller Windtail Boa appeared in the scene. It stared intently at the two tragically dead Windtail Boa corpses on the ground.

Actually, the smaller Windtail Boa just now wasn't stunned; it deliberately allowed Chen De to kill it.

The purpose was to make Chen De think that after killing it, it was all over.

In reality, there were three siblings. Originally, the largest one wanted to sacrifice herself to confuse Chen De and protect her two younger brothers.

But the slightly smaller one worried Chen De wouldn't fall for it, and despite the larger one's obstruction, also forced his way out.

At the last moment, the larger one was still protecting the smaller one, urging him to escape quickly.

But the smaller one, to prevent suspicion from falling on the youngest, willingly let Chen De kill him, and so stopped resisting.

The reason was simple: the youngest Windtail Boa had the best talent among them. Although he was the youngest, his strength was the greatest.

In his and his sister's eyes, only the youngest one could avenge them and their father.

So the final outcome was naturally obvious.

The youngest Windtail Boa's eyes were filled with hatred and sorrow.

He swore to take revenge!

He looked full of ambition!

Yet he was completely unaware that a sky-blue figure had quietly appeared behind him.

Raising his right claw, he swung it forward fiercely, and the Windtail Boa's bloodied head flew off.

Chen De walked forward, not bothering to look at the grim expression.

Chen De had seen many such expressions, so he stomped its head into a pulp before turning and leaving.

On the spot, the Windtail Boa's body remained in its previous posture.

After an unknown amount of time, there was no movement in the cave dwelling!

After a long time, there was still no movement in the cave dwelling!

After confirming there were truly no survivors, Chen De slowly walked out from the side and set the entire cave dwelling, along with the surrounding plants, on fire.

As Chen De left, flames shot into the sky behind him!
