35: Justice may be late, but...

Chen De was a benevolent individual, naturally unable to bear killing these demonic beasts, so after applying the marks, he mercifully let them go.

However, Chen De suddenly thought that if he just let them go like this, they might not wholeheartedly help him find spirit herbs.

If they slacked off, Chen De would have no proof.

Chen De was now racing against time, taking advantage of the Silver Scaled Thorny Horn King's severe injuries while it was healing.

This was his chance to benefit his demonic beast brethren, and he couldn't afford to waste time!

So he added to those demonic beasts, "You morally blackmailed me, which was wrong, but I am still willing to give you a chance to be forgiven."

Then, Chen De asked, "Who among you knows where the clan of the demonic beast that first jumped out just now is located?"

All the demonic beasts were as silent as cicadas in winter, not one answered!

A hint of goodwill immediately appeared in Chen De's eyes, and all the demonic beasts felt this influence.

Immediately, some demonic beasts couldn't sit still, clearly having been moved by Chen De's morality, and answered Chen De.

However, Chen De was too lazy to listen to them; he directly told it to lead him, and the other demonic beasts had to follow along.

Somehow, those demonic beasts felt a chill in their hearts, vaguely having a bad premonition.

Soon, Chen De arrived at the territory of that demonic beast.

Upon arrival, Chen De saw many demonic beasts similar in appearance to that one, only with some differences in cultivation aura.

Moreover, there were many small demonic beasts chasing and playing.

In the current situation where resources in the west were so tight, there were still demonic beasts living so comfortably.

Chen De immediately realized that he had not killed that demonic beast by mistake.

Such extravagance must have come from exploiting an untold number of demonic fats and pastes.

As soon as he thought of how many demonic beasts had no resources because of this, Chen De couldn't help but shed tears.

Originally, Chen De had thought it was a good demonic beast; fortunately, Chen De had slain it today and came here, otherwise he would have almost been deceived by it.

This also made Chen De understand that justice might be late, but it would never be absent.

He came, and that was justice!

So, Chen De immediately took action, smashing all the demonic beasts he saw before him into pieces.

Chen De knew there were more inside, but he was not in a hurry.

Then Chen De ordered the demonic beasts he brought to eat the fragments of these demonic beasts.

Hearing this, a chill rose from the hearts of all the demonic beasts, and they all felt a sense of shared peril.

A few individual demonic beasts refused to eat and were immediately detonated by Chen De's Blood Mark Magic Heart Curse, turning into fragments.

Blood also splattered all over the still-living demonic beasts, but they dared not move.

They just silently stepped forward and carried out Chen De's command.

Those demonic beasts that were blown into fragments were unwilling to do what Chen De instructed.

What did this mean? It meant that they were very likely in cahoots with that evil demonic beast.

As the saying goes, 'near vermilion, one is stained red; near ink, one is stained black,' what good could come from being with evil demonic beasts?

And Chen De didn't expect that there were still demonic beasts so stubborn.

Chen De had already eliminated the chief culprit, yet they still dared to jump out!

How could a moral and righteous person like Chen De, who detested evil, tolerate even a speck of sand in his eye, allow such evil fellows to exist?

If they hadn't jumped out, it would have been one thing, but since they did, then Chen De had to act on behalf of Heaven!

So, Chen De ordered those demonic beasts to eat the fragments of the demonic beasts that had just been blown up as well.

Chen De did this to avoid wasting food.

After all, Chen De knew from his time in the Whirlwind Forest Northern Part that the flesh and blood of demonic beasts were rare food for demonic beasts.

Although they had morally blackmailed him before, Chen De was still willing to put aside past grievances and give them benefits.

He cared about them at all times!

Why was this?

Perhaps, it was because he was moral!

Of course!

Actually, the moral Chen De didn't want to do such a cruel thing that would harm their families; after all, Chen De was so moral.

It was one thing for a demonic beast to die, but to eradicate them completely would be too cruel, and Chen De would not do such a thing.

However, for the sake of the greater good, he could only slightly inconvenience them.

Let the demonic beasts suffer a bit more, and Chen De would bear the infamy!

Anyway, he, Chen De, was so moral; being a little bit immoral wouldn't reduce his morality by much.

At this moment, a demonic beast eating the fragments suddenly couldn't help but vomit.

Chen De smiled faintly; this must be the first time it had so much food, it was too happy, and ate too fast, getting choked.

So Chen De looked at it with benevolent concern.

For demonic beasts, living in the forest meant there was never a time when food was not scarce, let alone rare demonic beast flesh and blood.

For them, it was something they usually couldn't eat; logically, today, with so much demonic beast meat to eat, it should have been happy.

But at this moment, it couldn't be happy at all; it even felt a little disgusted by the demonic beast meat in front of it, finding it hard to swallow.

So it finally couldn't hold it in and vomited.

At this moment, it suddenly felt a sharp gaze directed at it.

It immediately ate back the demonic beast meat it had just vomited, and even suppressing its nausea, ate at a faster pace than before.

Seeing this, Chen De nodded in satisfaction; it seemed his guess was correct, this demonic beast had indeed eaten too fast and choked, Chen De had thought it was defying him.

The demonic beasts were very fast, and soon the demonic beast fragments in the arena were eaten clean.

Chen De nodded, "It seems everyone is very happy eating, right!"

All the demonic beasts thanked Chen De, thanking Moral Rat King for giving them such a chance to feast.

Chen De laughed upon hearing this, "Hahahahaha! It's good that you can understand my painstaking efforts!"

After speaking, he changed the subject and looked towards the deeper part of that demonic beast's territory, "So, do you know what to do next?"

At first, those demonic beasts didn't understand what Chen De meant, as demonic beasts weren't very good at riddles, but following Chen De's gaze into the depths of that demonic beast's territory.

They immediately understood what Chen De meant; he was telling them to do it themselves! This was also a show of force for them!

Although they were all very reluctant to act, the situation was now stronger than them, and they had just gone through such a scene.

Those with true backbone who would have opposed Chen De had long since died.

So, although they were unwilling, they still showed a positive attitude.

All the demonic beasts strode forward into the depths of the territory.

The leaders present today were all clan-level existences among the Western demonic beasts.

And the strongest demonic beast here, the one that had opposed Chen De, had long since been killed by Chen De.

Even if it were fine, there were many existences in the demonic beast group no weaker than it, so even if it were alive, it wouldn't be their opponent.

As soon as they entered, wails and screams immediately erupted.

A kind person like Chen De naturally couldn't bear to see such a scene.

Soon, the sounds inside gradually disappeared.

Clearly, the battle inside had ended.

So, Chen De slowly walked in.

Upon entering, Chen De saw these demonic beasts digesting the spoils of war as per Chen De's instructions.

Chen De smiled slightly at this scene, not speaking.

He also silently walked to a hidden spot, and with one claw, struck the ground, and immediately, fresh blood gushed from the ground.

When Chen De extended his hand again, a small demonic beast was impaled on it.

Chen De's arm had pierced through its chest to its back, gripping it firmly from behind.

Then, Chen De glanced at them, and threw it in front of the demonic beasts.

The meaning was clear.

Next, Chen De repeated the process, pulling out some small demonic beasts from other places and throwing them in front of them.

During this time, many small demonic beasts, unable to bear the pressure, ran out on their own.

Chen De didn't even have to lift a finger; those demonic beasts took care of them.

Seeing this scene, the hearts of these demonic beasts completely died.

They hadn't expected that even with such secretive hiding, Chen De would know about it.

These small demonic beasts were naturally not hidden by them, nor did they dare to; they just hadn't searched too deliberately.

After all, they didn't want to do this, but they also hadn't specifically let them go; they had still rooted out the obviously hidden ones.

As for those hidden too deeply, they couldn't find them even with a thorough search.

The one Chen De eliminated upon arrival was an example.

What truly chilled their hearts was Chen De's methods.

In their territories, there were similar secret hiding spots.

These were for dealing with the calamity of clan annihilation, for unforeseen needs.

But looking at Chen De's current performance, those hiding methods were completely ineffective in front of Chen De.

This point made their hearts even more desolate.

They even worried that Chen De would blame them for this.

After all, this Moral Rat King before them was so brutal, even more so than the Azure Winged Mosquito Demon.

Fortunately, Chen De didn't know their thoughts; after all, how could a moral person like Chen De do such things?

That was all nonsense!

However, regarding the matter of ruining Chen De's morality, Chen De should have a good talk.

Chen De didn't know what they were thinking, nor did he mean to blame them.

It was too difficult to completely subdue a group of people or demonic beasts, so Chen De only chose to temporarily influence them with morality.

So, Chen De clapped his hands, and thinking of their previous feasting, he said with a chuckle, "Since everyone has eaten and drunk their fill."

"Then, it's time to get to business!"

"Go!"

Hearing that they could leave, all the demonic beasts immediately felt relieved.

They scattered like a swarm of bees, fleeing!

In an instant, only Chen De was left in the arena.

This made Chen De sigh, everyone was very enthusiastic about working for him!
