130: Chapter 130 Support from the Federal Army

The spaceship landed on the sixth planet of the Anling Star Domain; this was a planet primarily geared towards tourism.

However, due to the Federation's defeat two thousand years ago and the subsequent cession of vast frontline territories, this entire Star Domain was now on the periphery of the Federation, which is why the Federal Council had designated it as a base for the Third Fleet.

Noke stood in front of you and handed your identification cards to an officer with the rank of Second Lieutenant.

"You must be Mr. Lin Heng," the Second Lieutenant said, looking at you with burning eyes.

"If you are referring to Lin Heng of the Human Alliance Party, then that is indeed me," you said, looking at him.

"I—I—I..." The Second Lieutenant's face flushed, and his words were slightly stuttered. "I apologize, Your Excellency. Please forgive my rudeness; I am just too excited."

"You are now the idol of the entire Federation. We are all looking forward to you leading us to restore the Federation's glory." The other party grasped your hand, looking at you with genuine eyes.

"It is wonderful that you think so." You smiled; it seemed your influence had far exceeded your imagination. "However, reviving the Federation is not a task for me alone; it requires the joint efforts of all our Federal citizens."

"Yes, Your Excellency." A soldier nearby ran over to the Second Lieutenant and whispered something.

The Second Lieutenant looked at you happily and said, "Mr. Lin Heng, the General has agreed to meet you. Please follow me."

The Second Lieutenant walked in front, and you and Noke followed behind him.

"To be honest, I really hope the General agrees to support the Human Alliance Party. In my view, those guys from the Mingheng Party claim to be servants of our Federal people, but while they talk a good game, everything they do is for the benefit of alien races. It's truly disgusting," the Second Lieutenant said, turning his head to speak to you.

He seemed to have accumulated a lot of dissatisfaction with the Mingheng Party.

This Second Lieutenant was very young; you guessed he couldn't be over five hundred years old. Speaking of which, the soldiers in this Third Fleet base were all very young.

These officers looked at you with burning gazes, and several of them ran over to you, hoping you would sign your name on their uniforms.

It appeared that because of that speech at the Imperial Star Court, your influence had now reached a significant level.

You followed Noke to the side of a small spaceship.

"Alright, Mr. Lin Heng, the General is waiting for you inside." The Second Lieutenant glanced at Noke. "Mr. Noke, the General said only Mr. Lin Heng is allowed to enter, so I must ask you to come with me to rest on the side."

"Mr. Lin Heng, I'm just saying, if—if the General doesn't agree to your request, many of my brothers here have said they could quit the military. Could you agree to let us be your guard regiment?" the Second Lieutenant said, looking at you.

"Your General will agree to my request," you said, looking at him with a smile.

You walked through the gate of the spaceship.

The interior of the spaceship was small and could be seen at a glance. A woman stood by the glass wall of the spaceship, a white candy stick in her mouth, looking outside through the glass.

At this moment, it happened to be sunset on this planet. The three suns were slowly setting, dyeing one side orange-red, while on the other side, an artificial sun was slowly rising along a specific orbit, dyeing that side white.

A peculiar landscape of distinct white and red formed in the sky.

"Nice to meet you, General Zhou Muxue," you said as you approached.

She didn't reply, only looking at the scenery. "Is it pretty?"

"It is," you replied.

"Mm," she nodded.

Immediately after, the spaceship fell into silence. The two of you stood side by side, quietly watching the movement of the suns.

Until those three suns had completely set.

"I don't think this is our first time meeting, is it?" Mu Xue took the candy out of her mouth and said, looking at you.

"So General Mu Xue still remembers that incident; after all, two thousand years have passed," you said.

"It was the secret order you sent back then that allowed me to be saved. Truth be told, the reason I could sit in this position today is thanks to you, Mr. Lin Heng. I personally owe you a favor," Mu Xue said.

Her way of speaking was somewhat old-fashioned, not quite like the Mu Xue you knew.

"Wait a second, Prisoner 7, do you know Mu Xue? It's clearly Prisoner 6 who knows Mu Xue; what does it have to do with you, kid?" Lin Heng said.

"Then, relying on this favor, can I persuade Miss Zhou Mu Xue to join the Human Alliance Party?" you said.

Mu Xue glanced at you and did not answer the question.

She asked, "Have we met somewhere before?"

"General Mu Xue is joking. Two thousand years ago..."

"No, that's not right. You are also from Earth. Did we meet on Earth?"

You didn't speak.

"I always feel that you are very familiar to me, and not just in the ordinary way," Mu Xue said.

You looked at her and said, "Perhaps it is General Mu Xue's illusion."

"Perhaps." Mu Xue shook her head. "I cannot agree to this matter. My status is the Supreme Commander of the Third Fleet; my personal words represent this entire fleet, so I must seek the consent of this fleet."

"Then what is General Mu Xue's personal answer?" you asked.

"What reason do you think you can provide for me to help you?" Mu Xue said. "Of course, I'm not accepting that favor this time."

You smiled and said, "Isn't this a very fun thing?"

You believed she would definitely agree with this statement. There was no specific reason; you just believed she would.

She looked at you for a long time and handed you a lollipop.

"Thank you," you replied, taking the candy.

"That is indeed a very good reason," she said, looking at you. "And I am now very certain that what I said earlier was not my illusion."

You walked out of the spaceship.

"Mr. Lin Heng, did the General agree?" Noke asked you as soon as you came out.

"Mm." You nodded with a smile, then looked at the Second Lieutenant. "Also, Your Excellency Li Quan, I have just spoken with the General, and you should be receiving an appointment to become part of my guard regiment soon."

"I will be troubling you from now on," you said, patting Li Quan on the shoulder.

Li Quan opened his mouth, and it took him a long time to react. Naturally, he didn't think you were lying to him.

"No, please, Mr. Lin Heng, I look forward to your guidance!" Li Quan said.

After gaining Mu Xue's support, you did not return to the Federation's Imperial Star to conduct party work. Instead, you went to a remote little star system, far away from these partisan disputes.

Mu Xue said she would provide you with an absolutely safe platform, but it would take ten years.

Ten years was something you could afford to wait.

Noke would come to report on the Human Alliance Party's work every month. Now, the Human Alliance Party had already secured one hundred and eighty seats in the Federal Council.

The support from the grassroots public had even surpassed that of the Mingheng Party.

"Whether it is the upper, middle, or lower levels of the Federation, they are all very dissatisfied with the Starry Sky Treaty. The Mingheng Party rose to power by relying on alien races; even if they realize it, they have no way to make changes. Remember, this is our advantage." You said to Noke, "By the way, isn't the Beast race experiencing serious internal conflicts right now?"

"Yes, Your Highness. The Beast race is mainly composed of the Native Beast race, the Yao Beast race, and the Spirit Beast race. Now, both the Yao Beast race and the Native Beast race are dissatisfied with the better treatment received by the Spirit Beast race and are demanding independence," Noke said.

"Your Highness" was the title the members of the Human Alliance Party used for you. At first, some people said they wanted to call you "Führer," but you refused. Finally, under your suggestion, they adopted the title "Your Highness."

"Mm." You nodded.

"Oh right, Your Highness, there is a Federal reporter here who wants to interview you. I heard she is from your home planet. She has a strong attitude and is an independent member." Noke leaned in close to you. "She started out by interviewing post-war veterans and gradually became famous. Her articles have a certain influence in the Federal military regions."

"Looking at you, she must have arrived already, right?" you said.

"Yes," Noke replied.

"Go and have Li Quan bring her over."

Before long, Li Quan brought in a woman.

The moment you saw that woman, you were frozen in place.

You actually despised the concept of fate, but the instant you saw her, you suddenly believed in the word "fate."

The girl's appearance was not outstanding; her eyes were large and her mouth was a bit small, but her skin was very fair. Her attire was simple—just a plain shirt and a short skirt.

"Your Highness?" Noke nudged you from the side.

"No, it's nothing," you said.

As Noke spoke, he introduced her to the Young Miss, extending one hand toward you.

"This is Mr. Lin Heng of our Human Alliance Party."

As he said this, he looked at you and extended one hand toward the woman.

"This is Young Miss Liu Ziyi, who, like Your Highness, is from Earth."
