8: He killed him, who killed him?
Regarding the murder case of Moe Water, the Darwin local authorities quickly issued an announcement:
"After unremitting efforts, Darwin City police have finally confirmed the suspect's identity."
"The suspect is Anthony Rousseau, 26, an internet celebrity streamer who focuses on political analysis. He has been reported multiple times by netizens and banned by platforms for his overly radical remarks."
"Upon investigation, Anthony Rousseau had online and offline altercations with Moe Water, which should be his motive for the crime."
"We have currently locked down Anthony Rousseau's hiding place and are fully pursuing him..."
The name Anthony Rousseau, along with the information provided in the official announcement, led to a public outcry from netizens.
Then more information was uncovered.
The assassinated Moe Water was once a staunch anti-colonial fighter.
He advocated for expelling the colonizers from Australia, demanded that the colonizers pay the price for past racial persecution, and even slandered white people as 'white-skinned pigs'.
This radicalism, however, subsided after Moe Water successfully ran for and was elected as a city councilor.
Anthony Rousseau, on the other hand, was the exact opposite.
This guy was a standard white supremacist, opposing non-white immigration, rejecting any refugees, and even claiming that Australia was a white country, with no native aboriginals, only kangaroos.
In addition to his online feuds with Moe Water, Anthony Rousseau once livestreamed himself going to the latter's speech venue to argue with him and gain popularity.
If radical remarks from an online streamer are to be disregarded, then the anomalies surrounding Anthony Rousseau in the days leading up to Moe Water's assassination are highly noteworthy.
According to netizens in his livestream, a few days before the incident, Anthony left his livestream for a few minutes while streaming. When he returned, his expression had drastically changed, and he soon ended the livestream, not restarting it for several days until the day of the incident.
It is conceivable that Anthony Rousseau must have experienced a psychological distortion due to some event, which led him to translate his online words into reality and kill Moe Water.
Netizens' analysis was quickly further confirmed.
Soon after, the police made a second public disclosure, stating that Anthony Rousseau was found in a secret basement, but unfortunately, he had already committed suicide by shooting himself.
That gun, it was confirmed, was the murder weapon that killed Moe Water.
And this gun was a police weapon that had been stolen by an assailant who attacked a police officer not long ago.
Regarding that assault and gun theft case, after supplementary investigation, the perpetrator has been largely identified as Anthony Rousseau himself.
However, at the time, the police, to avoid causing public panic, did not disclose the gun theft incident, which led to this terrorist attack. This was the police's mistake.
In short, due to the formation of a closed chain of evidence, Anthony Rousseau's murder is an undisputed fact.
But some people still don't believe it, thinking that Anthony Rousseau was just a pawn, and the real mastermind was someone else.
Meanwhile, Fang Le, the mastermind who created this situation, stayed in his incredibly comfortable hotel room like an unrelated party, watching the broadcasts on TV media, enjoying himself at leisure.
In fact, he was already planning his next move.
The great rebellion has just begun.
