"Yes, I’ll go," Ethan answered without thinking much. He didn’t have anything to do anyway. He wanted to test out his healing talent, but he could do that in the town too.

Ethan went to Garold and saw there were twenty strong men waiting.

"Hey Garold, is this the new kid? Didn’t he get two blue fin koi fish a while ago? You know him?" someone asked Garold.

Garold also heard that a boy in the village had found two ultra-rare fish a while ago. Though he had a guess, now it was confirmed.

"Yes, I know him. He wants to go with us to the town."

Ethan this time saw the young man from whom he bought that sword skill.

The young man instantly grinned.

"What will we get by taking a burden with us? We will have to protect him, share our food with him, give him a place in the carriage to sit. These are a lot of hassles to take for free, don’t you think so?" He rubbed his hands.

Ethan cursed in his mind instantly.

’What a greedy bastard,’ but he maintained a smile on his face.

"I wonder what big brother is talking about. I am just a little boy, and you are asking for money even though you are so big and strong? The place where I came from, not even beggars would ask money from little boys. I wonder how much money you want, big brother."

Everyone laughed out loudly.

"Dan, you are even worse than a beggar from where he came from. Go on, tell him how much money you want."

Garold couldn’t help but mock the young man.

Dan’s face turned red, and he didn’t say anything else.

"Okay, Ethan, do you need anything to pack? Or else we will start our journey."

Ethan didn’t have anything to take with him, so they went out.

The town was not very far. It would be a one-day journey from going to coming back, so he didn’t tell Rey.

They started in the morning; that’s why the road was relatively safe. No bandits attacked them on the way.

Five hours later, they arrived at the town. It was indeed much better than the village.

Garold said, "Ethan, we will leave the town at evening. Try to return here before the sun sets."

"Okay," Ethan replied to him and vanished.

"Garold, why are you so kind to him? Does he remind you of your son?" someone asked him.

Garold’s smile faded away. He didn’t answer.

"Let’s go. We don’t have time."

Ethan was walking in the street. He was thinking about how to change a gold coin without attracting attention. He was tiny. Even if he used a mask, anyone would be able to tell that he was a kid.

But he had thirty mammoth-level power after all. Even if he attracted a little attention, that wouldn’t be harmful for him.

But even so, he asked many passersby who the most honest blacksmith in town was.

There was a little chance that an honest guy wouldn’t look at him with greed when he took out the gold coin. But if he did, Ethan would teach him a lesson.

He bought a face mask from nearby and directly went to the smith shop.

There were many weapons there.

"Old man, show me the best sword in your shop."

The owner of the shop was indeed an old man.

He looked at Ethan. His clothes were dirty and poor-looking.

"Kid, are you sure you can afford my best sword? Why don’t you see something from that side? Those are cheap. And why are you wearing a mask?"

"Old man, you don’t have to worry about money. Just show me the best sword."

The owner didn’t say anything else and went inside.

After a while, he returned with something wrapped in black cloth.

He slowly started unwrapping the cloth, and soon a pitch-black sheath appeared in view. There was a cool-looking black hilt too. It was shining even though it was black.

Ethan instantly fell in love with it.

"Take out the sword yourself."

Ethan didn’t think anything and started pulling out the sword from its sheath.

"Now I’ll know if you really want to have the best sword in your possession or are just making a fuss. If there is a little doubt in your heart, you won’t be able to pull it out," the old man smirked in his mind.

But to his surprise, Ethan pulled out the sword like it was nothing—like a normal sword.

"How is this possible? I gave this sword to everyone who came to my shop and asked for the best sword. I gave them this one, but no one could pull it out. How come this poor punk did this?"

"Old man, don’t stare at me like that. Is this the best sword in your shop? Tell me the price."

The old man suddenly came to his senses.

"Five thousand gold coins."

Ethan heard "five thousand silver."

"You old geezer, why don’t you go rob your father? How can this sword be five thousand silver coins? Are you messing with me or what?"

This time the old man turned red with fury.

"Little bastard, whom are you calling old geezer? And this sword is five thousand gold coins, not silver. I already knew a poor bastard like you wouldn’t be able to afford it. Go take that junk sword from there and leave. You won’t have to pay."

This time Ethan swallowed hard. Five thousand gold coins was too much.

"What is so special about this sword anyway? If you are so good at sword making, why don’t you go to some big cities, huh?" he asked again.

"It is not created by me. It was left behind by an unknown swordsman. He asked for this price. If you want, pay the money; if you don’t, go away."

Ethan sighed. He of course wanted the best for Rey.

"Fine, I’ll pay."

"What did you say, brat? You will pay? Where the fuck did you get the money? Robbed the whole town or something?"

Ethan didn’t say anything else and took out ten thousand gold.

"Give me change for this five thousand gold with silver."

The old man stood there like a chicken. What the heck? How come this poor bastard has so much money?

"Old man, I heard you are the most honest blacksmith, so I came to your shop. Don’t think anything evil. That might cause you problems."

Ethan warned him. Seeing ten thousand gold and keeping one’s humanity in check was not easy.

The old man didn’t say anything else. He took out five hundred thousand silver coins, put them into a space ring, and gave it to Ethan.

Ethan didn’t flinch when he saw the space ring.

The old man also observed his reaction.

"He sure belongs to a powerful place," but what he didn’t know was that Ethan had that royalty vibe from his birth.

"Okay, this low-grade space ring is a gift for you."

He put the sword in the ring and thanked him.

Then he came out. But as soon as he came out, he saw a kitten in front of the shop. It looked very poor in health, as if it would die at any moment.
