Chapter 65: Let the Battle begin

Everyone went to do their part. Leon had gone to inform the martial artists all over the world. Dragon went to collect the cores of the king-level beasts from the treasury. Ethan asked for 2,000 cores. If the alliance didn’t have them, Dragon would need to go hunt.

Alexander called Jack and told him to go to the science lab.

Ethan went to the place where he could make the Nova Sentinels. He got the manual, and Po also gave him a visual description from ground zero to finishing. All Ethan needed to do was replicate them with his metal creation—parts by parts.

Ethan had a clear idea in his mind of what he was going to make. Damn right, baby—he would make all the Autobots and Decepticons in Transformers he admired. He would create 500 Nova Sentinels, all the famous ones like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, The Fallen, Ratchet, Jazz, Starscream, and many more. If he had time, he would also make Primus, Unicron, and the other Primes. But they were too huge. He didn’t have that much time.

As he needed to fight, he would fight with a bang. He took a deep breath and started his work. First, he conjured the parts needed for each robot, with microscopic details. Po was helping him in this matter.

Dragon went to the treasury. There were 30 emperor cores and 1,000 level 9 king-level cores. He didn’t have enough. So he got ready for battle. It had been a long time since he fought. He was itching for it.

Leon first went to find grandmasters. There were many talented martial artists with soul talents in the alliance. He searched among them—those whose soul talents could enhance mental power, then the spirit masters. After a deep search, he found 800 such individuals. But Ethan asked for 1,500. So Leon passed an order for all grandmasters with mental-related soul talents and spirit masters. His orders spread instantly throughout the cities.

The big families already knew about the situation. They had been informed early to make preparations. This would be the greatest battle for humanity.

Twenty years ago, not even a portion of these beasts were emperors; very few were at that realm. But according to Ethan, the number of emperor-level beasts exceeded ten thousand now. They had very little chance to win this time. But they would fight with everything they had.

Rose came to the alliance. A martial artist led her to the place where Ethan was working nonstop. He noticed her arrival. He looked up and gave her a light smile, then went back to work. Rose also smiled. She knew this man—the burden Ethan was carrying right now.

He awakened around fifteen days ago, but he was now a king. This wasn’t even genius or monster. Ethan could only be described by Ethan himself.



But they didn’t have time to celebrate. Humanity needed him. Though she couldn’t participate in this battle, she could at least carry some of the mental burden by standing beside him.

Ethan had already made parts for 100 Nova Sentinels. He didn’t call his clones because Ethan’s metal creation technique worked in a unique way. The durability and strength of the metal depended on the power of his spirit attributes. His clones had only 5% of his power, so the parts they created would also be 5% as strong.

Ethan stopped. He had ignored Rose throughout the day—or rather, he simply didn’t have enough time. He saw Rose serving food. He went to her side and hugged her tightly. Rose hugged him back. Then they shared the meal together in silence.

Ethan asked Po for news. Po already had full control of Earth’s internet and information—everything, confidential or not. Po told him Dragon had gone to hunt monsters. As for Leon, he had gathered 2,000 grandmasters. They were now being checked in the science lab. At 12 a.m. their training could start officially.

Ethan nodded. That was good. Then he apologized to Rose and went back to work. He asked her to go home and rest. Rose simply stood there, as if she hadn’t heard his words, watching the creating parts with great curiosity.

Seeing his woman paying such deep attention and the admiration in her eyes somehow made Ethan’s working speed faster. Men will always be men.

The whole night passed. Ethan’s panel refreshed again:

His Nova Sentinels would be stronger than the grand knights from the secret realm.

Po would control the leader class sentinels he made to perform more efficiently. As for those knights, they would be run by the martial artists who were undergoing brutal training right now.

They would need to fight emperor-class beasts. A lot depended on them. Only the best of the best were chosen for this.

Ethan forcefully sent Rose home by making her sleep through his mental power. That silly girl was taking too much pressure. Having a partner like Ethan was already the heaviest pressure for any girl to bear. He was blooming too quickly. As for Rose, she only had a glimpse into the warrior realm. Only seventeen days had passed, you know.

Ethan had two more days. He was sure the attack would need three days because he saw many beasts gathering from afar. Everything would need time.

Dragon hadn’t returned yet. Another day passed like this. Ethan created 450 robotic parts in two days. Today he would make the leaders’ parts and then assemble them. He looked at his panel:

The leader class would have base strength stronger than even Dragon.

Dragon returned with 30 more emperor cores. The rest were level 9 king cores. He hadn’t gone overboard so as not to escalate the battle early. Ethan also finished making all the parts.

Then, with a thought, every part started floating in the air and came together seamlessly.

Dragon, Leon, Rose, Alexander, Jack, James, Ryder, Charles—everyone was present to see the historic moment. They watched the creation of magnificent knights, huge in height, each one looking damn cool. Especially those fifty—they were humming with absolute power.

Leon felt they were even stronger than him. Even Dragon thought the same.

They didn’t know how Ethan could make something this magnificent out of thin air. He was holding too many secrets, but Earth was relying on this boy now. They couldn’t complain.

All 500 Transformers were ready to ride. Po’s eyes were gleaming. "Boss, these fifty look so cool. Don’t worry, I won’t let anyone sully their royal look. I’ll handle them perfectly in battle."



Ethan nodded. He then called the 1,500 grandmasters who were training day and night. Though they had little time, they were prodigies after all.They mastered the control system in mere hours, then learned to cooperate and fight the enitre time.

Those martial artists’ eyes were shining brightly. They fell in love with the Nova Sentinels the moment they saw them. They were eager to try them.

Ethan took the monster cores and started placing them into each robot for power supply.

Everything was done smoothly. The hatch opened. Ethan looked at the eagerly waiting martial artists, already divided into three-person teams. Ethan also took out the fifty knights from the ring.

"Go on, play with these babies. I’m hoping you’ll thrash those beasts the most tomorrow. Best of luck."

Ethan didn’t wait to see how well they could control the sentinels. He had other things to do, like learning that short-time teleportation skill. He sat cross-legged and brought out the skill.

Yes, Ethan gave his order.

"Damn! I’ll f**k those monsters tomorrow like no one’s business," Ethan thought with a grin in his face.

It was already night. Ethan called Rose. She was still in the alliance. He asked her to come to the gate. Then he held her waist and flew up.

They were watching the night view from the sky. This was a heavenly scene with his girl beside him. She looked exceptionally ethereal in the night. He was looking at her.

Rose could feel his gaze but didn’t dare to look. Her heart might burst. Seeing the crimson hue on her flawless neck and face, he couldn’t control himself. He kissed her deeply. Rose responded perfectly. Their first kiss was a disaster, so she was taking her time to absorb these emotions.

They stayed like this in the air for quite some time.

In the roof of the alliance hall, Dragon and Leon also saw the scene. They laughed.

"Being young is good."

Leon asked, "Old Dragon, what do you think will happen tomorrow? Do we have a chance?"

Dragon didn’t look at him. He was staring at the moon.

"I don’t know.But I know one thing—I will put all my essence into tomorrow’s battle. And if tomorrow is to be our last stand against these monsters, let it be the kind of stand the stars themselves will remember."

Leon didn’t say much. Ethan came down from the sky. He didn’t have time to be so passionate. Then he took out weapons. His ring had ten level 5 force weapons. Ethan called Dragon. Then he went to the roof.

Ethan said, "Don’t worry, President. We will win the battle. I won’t say how, but we will."

Dragon smiled but didn’t say anything. He had said before that anyone who fulfilled the requirement for that secret realm, he would make him the president. But time was too short. Maybe fate wanted him to die as the president.

Ethan handed over nine level 5 force weapons to them. He kept one for himself. He might need it tomorrow. All the level 9 emperors would get one. Until now, Dragon’s crimson sword was the only level 5 weapon in the alliance, but now they had nine more.

"Okay, we will battle outside the city. Let’s assemble everyone. We will wait for them there."

All the civilians had already gone into bunkers.

Rose said only one sentence to him before she went to the bunker with his family:

"Come back to me safely."

Ethan nodded. His mother also had tears in her eyes, but she couldn’t be selfish enough to bind her son after knowing his capabilities. That would be the greatest sin toward humanity.

Everything was ready. Five hundred Nova Sentinels were lined up. Fifty were ahead. And one blue and red one stood at the commander position. It wasn’t necessary, but Ethan wanted everything in place.



Martial artists from every base city and super city were there, lined up in orderly ranks. Dragon stood tall in his battle suit. He looked magnificent under the moonlight.

He gave a short speech, enough to boil their blood:

"Listen up."

"Out there is everything that wants to end us. And here is everyone who refuses to kneel."

"We don’t fight because we think we’ll live. We fight because some things are worth dying for."

"So hold your ground. Look those monsters in the eye. And show them the Earth belongs to us."

"Now, move."

Ethan gave an order through Optimus Prime.

Optimus Prime raised its blade toward the sky.

"All Autobots, roll out!"

This was the crucial part to set everything in perfect order. He was satisfied.

Let the battle begin.
