Ethan’s other clone also found a world, but not in a normal way.

While flying in the dark space,a space crack suddenly appeared infront of him, and the clone flew inside without thinking. It had been drifting through the void for too long and was bored out of his mind.

A tremendous vaccum pull sucked him inside. The pull was so strong that even if he wanted now, he couldn’t come out.

Soon he fell on the ground.

"Where is this place?"

He looked around and scanned the planet beneath his feet.

It was a parallel Earth.

"Why are there so many parallel versions of Earth and the solar system? Does it hold some kind of significance in the larger scale of existence?" Ethan couldn’t figure it out.

There were countless versions of this same solar system.

Ethan wanted to understand this planet first.

Before anything else, he took out his device to measure the world’s power level.

Boom.

Instantly the reading shot far beyond the upper limit.

"Great. I am out of my league again?"

He walked toward the nearest city. He had landed in a forest.

His scan showed that this planet even had fourth dimensional beings.

The other planets in this solar system were also inhabited by humans. They had already reached the cosmic level and even surpassed it.

He also noticed something odd. The people of this world and the world itself did not match the energy of their environment. They were cultivating using some external form of energy instead of the natural ambient energy.

Ethan exited the forest and created a computer to access the internet.

Soon he found the answer.

[Saint Rena has killed a saint level beast near the galactic border. She has gained recognition from the Supreme Human Alliance.]

[Transcended Aric obtained a transcended sword after killing a monster in the fourth Sanctuary.]

There were countless similar news headlines.

"So there are places called sanctuaries, which people can enter after turning sixteen. They gain origin points by killing monsters, and by allocating those points into cultivation, they become stronger. The energy in their bodies matches the source energy of this world. So they cultivate using source energy?"

Ethan was stunned.

He had needed to negotiate with an entire world for just ten strands of source energy. He made enemies, acted weak and took risks.

But here, people cultivated using source energy freely.

How rich were they?

Ethan immediately wanted to enter these sanctuaries.

The third dimensional sanctuary was called the Ascended Sanctuary.

The fourth dimensional one was the Transcended Sanctuary.

The fifth dimensional one was the Saint Sanctuary.

According to human records, this cosmos had around ten unlocked sanctuaries, or at least ten that the humans of this planet knew about.

To learn more, he needed to become a member of the Supreme Human Alliance. Only then could he access deeper information.

"Let me see. To enter a sanctuary, one needs a permission crystal. Only someone of the required power level can enter. That means I can only enter the Transcended Sanctuary."

He shrugged.

"Who cares. If I call all my clones here, we can gather all the origin points we need."

He was getting excited.

But when he tried to send his location to his clones, he realized he could not.

This place did not belong to the normal fold of space. He could not identify its coordinates at all.

He even told his clones to search for the original space crack, but they found nothing.

"Perfect. That means this clone is now my most important asset. I cannot let this one die."

He started thinking about how to get a permission crystal.

For that, he had to join the alliance.

But appearing out of nowhere as a Transcended being would raise too many questions.

So he decided to cheat a little.

With the strength of an eleventh dimensional being, he slashed with his hand and cut the space apart.

It was a time slash. He aimed for the moment when humanity first joined the alliance.

He planned to go there and obtain a crystal directly at that point.

That way he would also gain a new identity.

Since the alliance did not have anyone above the tenth dimensional level, they would never detect what he did.

He could not force his way into their organization. If someone stronger than him was present, it would be suicide.

This was the first time he used this technique to travel into the past.

He needed to get the Ascended Crystal from them, then return to the present.

After that he could exchange it for a Transcended Crystal without issues.

He entered the space tear and arrived at the time when the planet had just connected with the alliance. People had just received the crystals and were overflowing with excitement.

Ethan did not stay to watch.

He went straight to the Earth Alliance and registered as a newly turned sixteen year old.

Three days later, the alliance delivered the crystal to him.

Ethan examined it carefully. He activated his eyes to read the pattern, but an intense pain stabbed his vision.

"Ouch. What is this thing? I nearly lost my eyes."

He did not dare to try anything reckless again.

He immediately returned to the timeline he came from.

It was a very smooth operation.

Now he had the permission crystal in his hand and a valid identity within the alliance.

But according to this planet’s records, Ethan had become an ancient entity.

Earth had entered the cosmic level ten million years ago.

This alone showed him how unbelievably powerful this world was.

In only ten million years, fifth dimensional beings had appeared here.

For such existences, millions of years were nothing more than a short nap.

"This is my ticket to power."

He stared at the crystal with bright eyes, then headed toward the Earth Alliance.

After arriving, he walked straight to the room where crystals were distributed.

"Hello. I am here to receive my Transcended crystal," Ethan said to the man sitting inside.

The man froze. A moment later, his eyes widened.

Their planet had saint level beings, but only four.

Saints rarely interfered in planetary matters. They only attended Supreme Human Alliance meetings as Earth’s representatives.

They were like the four gods of the planet.

But the Transcended beings were the true power holders of Earth.

"Sir, please wait. Let me check the record."

The man leapt to his feet and bowed.

He checked the database and his eyes instantly turned red. Tears started rolling down his cheeks.

The man standing before him was one of Earth’s pioneers.

This figure had appeared in the alliance ten million years ago and then disappeared without a trace.

Most pioneers had died in the sanctuaries.

The few who survived became powerful Transcended beings or rose to the saint level.

Yet this man seemed to be the last remaining pioneer who was still at the ascended stage.

"Sir, please wait. I will apply for the crystal immediately."

He did not even try to verify Ethan’s claim. Ethan’s presence alone was enough.

But his appearance caused a sensation across the planet.

A pioneer had resurfaced after ten million years.

There was no information about him other than the fact that he had once collected a crystal.

The other pioneers and even the saints grew curious.

"How did he do it? How could he erase all traces of himself? That man is a legend," Saint Rena said with interest.

That day, Ethan received a new title: the Phantom.

Ethan ignored all of it.

He even received invitations from several pioneer factions, but he paid no attention.

Five hours later, the alliance upgraded his crystal, and Ethan disappeared again.

This time he traveled to the gate of the Transcended Sanctuary using the planet’s public teleportation network.

The gate was located in another galaxy.

Ethan could have gone on his own, but he chose public transportation.

That alone created another wave of gossip.

The Phantom was using the public teleportation channel.

Ethan arrived in front of the gate and stepped inside.

There were no guards.

Security was unnecessary. No one could enter without the permission crystal, and even if someone tried, no guard could stop a Transcended being anyway.

Ethan walked through and appeared inside the sanctuary.

The place looked ethereal, almost unreal. It was pleasing to the eyes on every level.
