Chapter 84 The Wen family has finally arrived.
After Chen Ang entered the room, he was pulled by Yu Fei to lie on the soft, fragrant bed. Yu Fei supported his head, placing it on her fair thighs.
Then, her slender fingers didn't wander, but rested on Chen Ang's head, gently massaging it.
At first, the two were chatting, but after a few minutes, the relaxed Chen Ang, smelling the woman's scent, fell asleep directly.
When he woke up, it was past three o'clock.
Opening his eyes and turning his head, he saw Yu Fei lying on the side, asleep, with only a thin blanket covering her delicate body.
Chen Ang slowly sat up, and looking down, he saw a blood-red mark pressed onto Yu Fei's fair thighs, which was unusually striking.
He only then realized that he had been sleeping on her lap for the whole afternoon. This woman had actually not moved him, letting him press on her for so long.
Helping her cover up with the quilt again, he stood by the bed and looked at the woman, then Chen Ang quietly left the bedroom.
The door was gently closed. Yu Fei opened her eyes, turned her head to look at the door, then turned back, lifted the blanket, looked at the mark on her thigh, and frowned as she began to rub it.
The feeling of ants biting made her let out a soft moan. Not daring to move around anymore, she slowly lowered her body, a smile hanging on her face as she pressed against the pillow.
Getting into the bentley, he rinsed his mouth with a bottle of water. Feeling that the smell of alcohol on his body had faded, Chen Ang started the engine and went straight back to the Financial Center.
Pushing open the office door, Shen Pianran was sitting behind the desk organizing documents.
Seeing him come in, she pushed a contract over, "The formal contract for those two detached office buildings from Daqi Real Estate has been signed. Tan Xiaolei just took the copy. He has been running the property handover and industrial and commercial change procedures with Sister Xin for the past few days. Once the process is complete, we can arrange for the company to move."
Chen Ang took the contract, flipped through it from beginning to end, paused for a moment at the signature on the last page, and then grinned. His good brother's name was written as ugly as ever.
Seeing this, Shen Pianran immediately understood and smiled, "Tan Xiaolei asked me if he could use a fingerprint instead. Sister Xin said no, so he crouched in the corner of the conference room and practiced his signature for half an hour."
After she finished speaking, she wrinkled her nose slightly and sniffed twice, "Did my big boss just come out of a beauty's nest?"
Chen Ang, who was signing, paused. He inexplicably felt like he had been caught cheating. He chuckled and said, "Had a drink with Manager Hu from the Road and Bridge Bureau, and found a place to get a massage."
Shen Pianran looked at him with suspicion, then changed the subject, "Sister Xin will leave for Jiangning after finishing the financial matters this afternoon. She said she has an appointment with an old acquaintance and wants to catch up tonight."
"Hmm." Chen Ang's pen stroke was unintentionally heavier, but he just nodded and didn't take up the conversation.
"Also, the flight is at seven tonight. Zhang Qixiang has already arranged things in Hong Kong. Tomorrow morning at nine-thirty, we will go to the bank for identity verification and explanation of the source of funds. I sent the compliance materials last night, so there shouldn't be any major problems."
Shen Pianran handed over a paper itinerary, which listed the flight number, departure time, hotel address, and the meeting arrangements for the next day.
Chen Ang took it and glanced at it; it was well-organized and detailed. He then folded the itinerary and put it in his pocket, "You just arrange it."
Shen Pianran breathed a sigh of relief, leaned back in her chair, picked up the cold coffee, and took a sip, "Going to Hong Kong this time, if the bank asks about the details of the source of funds, what do you plan to say?"
Chen Ang thought for a moment and felt there was nothing to hide, so he said, "I lent ten thousand yuan to a friend more than a decade ago. The friend used bitcoin to pay off the debt. Later, the friend died in a car accident, and that USB drive was left in a drawer, forgotten for more than a decade."
The coffee cup in Shen Pianran's hand stopped in mid-air, shocked, "Forgotten? More than a decade ago?"
A moment later, she put down the cup, took a deep breath, and patted her chest, "My God, why don't such great riches remember me?"
Seeing her exaggerated appearance, Chen Ang laughed, "This is called a good deed rewarded."
Shen Pianran smiled, "Fortunately, you didn't remember it, otherwise you probably wouldn't have been able to resist the temptation of the initial surge."
Chen Ang didn't speak, just smiled.
A moment later, her expression changed, "I forgot one thing. This means this money is your personal pre-marital property from beginning to end."
She leaned over and stared into Chen Ang's eyes, "Are you sure you didn't have any business operations after marriage?"
"It was always like this." Chen Ang spread his hands, looking relaxed.
"Do you know what this means?" Shen Pianran's eyes sparkled, "It means even if Wen Huilin takes you to court, she won't be able to get a cent of this money."
"I knew that from the beginning." Chen Ang's tone was very flat, as if stating a fact that had been repeatedly confirmed.
Shen Pianran looked at him, and a smile slowly appeared on the corner of her mouth.
In that smile, there was the appreciation of a professional lawyer for a perfect chain of evidence, and also a more personal relief that she might not even have realized herself.
The phone rang again.
Chen Ang looked down at the caller ID; it was Wen Zhiyong.
Finally here, huh...
With a smile on his lips again, he answered. From the other side came the noise of the train station broadcast and Wen Zhiyong's loud shouting, "Brother-in-law. We got off the train. Where are you?"
"Wait at the exit, I'll be there soon." Chen Ang hung up the phone and stood up, "Picking someone up at the train station, we'll talk on the phone tonight."
Shen Pianran raised her eyelids and looked at him, "Boss, we have a flight to catch tonight."
"Wen Huilin's younger brother brought his family to Bin City. I booked them at the Qianxi Hotel and am hosting a welcome dinner at Lintian Pavilion tonight. By the way..." Chen Ang picked up the car keys on the table, "Find something for her to do."
Watching Chen Ang leave, Shen Pianran had already guessed the purpose of Chen Ang's move.
Shaking her head, she chuckled softly and buried herself in the pile of files again.
When the bentley stopped in the open-air parking lot outside the train station, Chen Ang got out of the car and looked up to see Wen Zhiyong with his suitcase at the exit.
He raised his hand to look at the patek philippe on his wrist. When he bought this watch, it was for this very day.
Looking at the bentley beside him, he didn't expect he would have an even more powerful tool for showing off.
Smiling silently, he walked quickly towards the exit.
Wen Zhiyong was wearing a tight black leather jacket, carrying a paint-peeling suitcase in his right hand, and holding a woman with light makeup in his left—his fiancée, Xue Shanshan.
Xue Shanshan was wearing over-the-knee boots, stomping her feet, complaining that Bin City was too cold, freezing her feet just as November started, and was complaining about Chen Ang making them wait for over ten minutes.
Behind them, Wen Guodong and Li Meifeng were guarding the luggage, muttering about something.
"Zhiyong, over here." After walking a few steps, Chen Ang raised his hand and waved at Wen Zhiyong.
Wen Zhiyong saw Chen Ang first and walked over with big strides.
Xue Shanshan and the Wen Guodong couple also quickly followed.
The three of them were chattering, either scolding Chen Ang for lacking manners or complaining about their daughter being heartless.
Xue Shanshan, who was walking in front, had an even worse expression, constantly nagging and complaining.
When they reached Chen Ang, seeing him waving to hail a taxi, she couldn't help but feel even more resentful, "Hey Chen Ang, didn't you say you bought a new car? You aren't going to make us take a taxi, are you? It's so crowded."
Hearing this, Wen Zhiyong echoed, "Yeah, where's the car?"
