In the Hospital room, Gu Yanchen looked at the unconscious Mother Gu, his eyes filled with self-reproach. If it weren't to support him, his mother wouldn't have contracted leukemia. He hated the man who had abandoned them even more.

Su Yue placed her hand on his shoulder and comforted him, "A-Yan, someone as good as your mother will surely live a long and healthy life."

Gu Yanchen said with deep affection in his eyes, "Baby, thank you for not giving up on me and my mother, and for being willing to do everything to save her!"
