264: Chapter 264: I learned something new again.

Dinner ended in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

Chen Yu took the initiative to clear the dishes, while Su Lingyin wiped the table. Xiao Nuomi licked its paws contentedly, pacing leisurely by their feet.

The sound of running water in the kitchen, mixed with the slight clinking of dishes, formed a mundane yet touching domestic concerto.

Once everything was tidied up, the two snuggled into the soft sofa in the living room.

Su Lingyin dimmed the main lights, leaving only a floor lamp emitting a dim, warm yellow glow.

She found a comfortable position, her head resting gently on Chen Yu's shoulder.

Chen Yu naturally reached out his arm to pull her close, his other hand absentmindedly stroking Nuomi, who was curled up between them.

The cat's soft fur and warm body heat, transmitted through the fabric, brought a sense of peace to the heart.

An old movie with a slow pace was playing on the television, but neither of them was truly watching it.

The air was filled with a wordless understanding and tranquility.

"The next round's theme is 'Family'. Do you have any ideas yet?" Su Lingyin spoke softly, breaking the comfortable silence.

Her voice carried a hint of laziness, sounding more like casual chat than a serious discussion.

She didn't mention the regret of Chen Yu getting second place, because she knew that Chen Yu's songs were not something a ranking could define.

Chen Yu gave a soft "mm," his fingers unconsciously twirling the ends of Su Lingyin's hair. His gaze was somewhat vacant, as if he were reminiscing about something.

Lowering his head, he could see her smooth forehead, and his gaze involuntarily fell upon her slightly pursed, tender-colored lips.

The tranquility in the air began to ferment, gradually becoming somewhat thick and ambiguous.

Chen Yu's heartbeat unknowingly quickened. The arm around her shoulder tightened slightly, pulling her closer to himself.

Su Lingyin seemed to notice, yet the corners of her mouth curved upward in a tiny arc.

Chen Yu's Adam's apple rolled slightly as he lowered his head, his warm breath brushing against Su Lingyin's bangs and the curve of her ear.

"Tired?"

Two words, extremely simple, yet filled with an unspoken concern and indulgence.

Su Lingyin still didn't open her eyes, only letting out a soft, sweet sound from her nose: "Mm..."

This response was like a kitten's paw, scratching at Chen Yu's heart.

He no longer hesitated and gently turned his head. An incredibly soft, cherished kiss, like a butterfly's wing skimming the water, landed on her forehead.

The kiss was light, but it lingered long enough to convey all his tenderness and love.

Su Lingyin's body gave an imperceptible tremor. Her long eyelashes fluttered a few times before she finally opened them slowly.

In the warm light, her eyes appeared exceptionally moist and misty, reflecting Chen Yu's face which was inches away.

Their eyes met. No words were spoken, yet it felt as if an electric current silently surged through the air.

Everything around them blurred.

Chen Yu's fingers slid from her hair to her cheek, his thumb gently stroking her delicate skin.

His gaze slowly shifted downward, landing on her lips once more.

Chen Yu's intention was obvious.

If you're tired, you need to rest...

A thin layer of blush rose to Su Lingyin's cheeks. She didn't avoid his gaze, her eyes carrying a hint of shyness.

She tilted her face up slightly and closed her eyes.

Just as Chen Yu's lips were about to cover hers...

"Meow~"

Xiao Nuomi stretched and jumped off the sofa.

"I'm going back to my room!" Su Lingyin gave Chen Yu a playful, smiling glare before bending down to scoop Xiao Nuomi into her arms.

Chen Yu laughed as well, reaching out to rub the cat's head, though his gaze remained tenderly locked on Su Lingyin.

As the night deepened, the warm yellow light in the living room was turned off, leaving only a soft bedside lamp lit in a corner of the bedroom, casting a hazy glow on the wall.

The air was filled with the fresh, light scent of a post-bath fragrance, along with an intimate and peaceful aura that belonged only to lovers.

Chen Yu finished washing up first. Leaning against the headboard, he flipped through a music score casually, but his eyes were distracted, his ears listening for the sound of water in the bathroom to gradually stop.

When Su Lingyin walked out wearing a silk nightgown, carrying the damp moisture and the fragrance of shower gel, he looked up.

Her long hair was slightly damp, draped loosely over her shoulders. Having removed the exquisite stage makeup, her bare face looked exceptionally pure and soft under the gentle light, carrying a hint of laziness.

The silk material of the nightgown outlined her graceful curves as she moved, shimmering with a delicate luster.

Chen Yu put down the music score, his eyes following her with a tender and focused gaze, filled with undisguised appreciation.

Su Lingyin felt his gaze, her face heating up slightly. She walked to the bedside, lifted a corner of the quilt, and lay down.

The mattress dipped slightly, bringing a faint sway and the closeness of their body heat.

Xiao Nuomi had already curled into a ball on its dedicated soft cushion at the foot of the bed, sleeping soundly.

The two lay side by side with a small gap between them, yet they could clearly feel the warmth emanating from each other.

At first, they just lay there quietly, listening to each other's gentle breathing and the faint noise of the city night outside the window.

Chen Yu was the first to break the silence. He turned on his side, his arm naturally reaching over to gently clasp Su Lingyin's waist, pulling her toward his embrace.

The movement was gentle, yet carried an undeniable intimacy.

Su Lingyin didn't resist. She leaned into him, resting her head in the crook of his arm, her cheek pressed against his warm chest where she could hear his steady, powerful heartbeat.

"Still tired?"

Chen Yu lowered his head, his jaw lightly rubbing against the top of her fragrant hair. His voice was deep, sounding exceptionally magnetic in the quiet bedroom.

"Much better." Su Lingyin's voice carried a trace of weariness. Her fingertips unconsciously traced circles on the fabric of his pajamas over his chest.

This subtle movement carried a silent dependence and provocation.

Chen Yu's heart seemed to skip a beat. He tightened his arm, bringing them closer together.

Through the thin pajamas, they could clearly feel the contours and temperature of each other's bodies.

The atmosphere quietly heated up, the air becoming somewhat thick.

Chen Yu lowered his head to find her lips. Su Lingyin tilted her face up slightly to meet his kiss.

Initially, it was just a gentle touch, like a butterfly skimming the water—testing, brushing.

Gradually, the kiss became deep and lingering, carrying the longing accumulated throughout the day and a wordless desire.

Their breaths intertwined, becoming hurried.

Chen Yu's hand moved slowly up from her waist, stroking her smooth back, bringing a faint shiver.

Su Lingyin's arms also wrapped around his neck, her fingertips sliding into his thick hair, responding to his passion.

The bedside lamp was clicked off by someone's hand, and the room fell into darkness, leaving only the faint moonlight from outside to outline the blurry silhouette of the embracing figures on the bed.

Fragmented kisses spread from her lips to her earlobes and neck, bringing waves of uncontrollable soft gasps and low moans.

The sash of the nightgown was gently pulled open, the soft fabric rubbing against skin with a rustling sound.

In this private space belonging only to them, the daytime noise, the stage pressure, and the eyes of the outside world were all shut out.

Only the most primal attraction, the most intimate touch, and the most honest emotional exchange remained.

Intertwined body heat and suppressed whimpers composed a silent, fiery nocturne.

Chen Yu: I've learned a new position again!
