100: Chapter 100 The Invasion of Liuli, Zhou Wu in Crisis

Sect Leader Lin Guiya stood in the hall with his hands behind his back, his face extremely gloomy.

His gaze swept over the Elders standing in the hall with their hands hanging down, not daring to breathe, his voice low and cold:

"Pass down the order: summon all Elders currently outside the Sect to return to the mountain within three days."

He paused, enunciating every word: "Prepare for war."

The Elders in the hall all looked up in unison, their expressions changing drastically.

"Sect Master."

One Elder mustered the courage to step forward, his voice filled with hesitation, "Should we reconsider this matter?"

"That Kunlun was able to kill the Grand Elder and the Second Elder with a single sword strike; there must be a powerhouse at the Undergoing Tribulation stage backing them. If we rashly mobilize..."

Sect Leader Lin Guiya raised his hand to interrupt him, his gaze like a blade: "A powerhouse at the Undergoing Tribulation stage? My Liuli Sect has one too!"

"Sect Master." Another Elder spoke up, mustering his courage, "We still do not know the background of that Kunlun."

"If you don't know, then go find out." Sect Leader Lin Guiya interrupted him, "But before we find out, blood debts must be paid in blood."

He turned around, his gaze sweeping over the crowd, his voice filled with unquestionable majesty:

"The Liuli Sect has stood for tens of thousands of years and has never been bullied like this. The Grand Elder, the Second Elder, and four inner Sect Elders have all perished in the Southern Wilderness."

"If my Liuli Sect doesn't even make a sound, how can we stand in the Xuanhuang World in the future?"

The Elders looked at each other, and finally, no one dared to voice opposition.

Sect Leader Lin Guiya withdrew his gaze and strode out of the hall, "In three days, we march to the Southern Wilderness."

Three days later, at the Liuli Sect mountain gate.

The square was packed with people, a sea of heads.

At the very front, three old men stood side by side.

The leader was the Liuli Sect Grand Elder Mo Yunting, at the Peak of Tribulation Transcendence.

To his left was the Grand Elder Ye Pojun, at the Undergoing Tribulation Middle Stage.

To his right was the Grand Elder Xiao Jue, at the Undergoing Tribulation Middle Stage.

Three at the Undergoing Tribulation stage, over a dozen at the Mahayana stage, and dozens at the Body Integration stage.

This was just a glimpse of the Liuli Sect's foundation built over tens of thousands of years.

Sect Leader Lin Guiya stood behind the three Grand Elders, his gaze sweeping over the sea of people in the square. He took a deep breath and said in a deep voice: "Depart."

As his voice fell, a massive spirit boat slowly rose from behind the mountain gate.

The hull was pitch black and stretched a hundred zhang long. The bow was carved with the head of a ferocious Vicious Beast, holding a fist-sized spirit bead in its mouth that emitted a faint light.

Above the spirit boat, banners fluttered, with the two ancient seal characters for "Liuli" written on them in vigorous strokes, with spirit light faintly flowing through them.

The three Grand Elders leapt onto the spirit boat first, followed closely by Sect Leader Lin Guiya and the others.

The spirit boat gave a slight tremor, and the Formation runes on the hull lit up in unison. The entire spirit boat turned into a stream of black light and shot toward the Southern Wilderness.

News of the Liuli Sect's massive mobilization spread throughout the entire Western Region and quickly spread south, reaching the Southern Wilderness.

For a time, the Five Regions were shaken.

"Is the Liuli Sect crazy? What are they trying to do?"

"I heard their Grand Elder and Second Elder were killed in the Southern Wilderness, and they are going to take revenge."

"Revenge? Who could make the Liuli Sect suffer such a huge loss?"

The news reached the other three regions, and everyone was watching and waiting.

Zhouwu Dynasty, Imperial Palace.

In the Imperial Study, the vermilion brush in Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe's hand hung in mid-air, not falling for a long time.

His gaze fell on the urgent report that had just been delivered to his desk, his expression as calm and heavy as water.

"The Liuli Sect has mobilized their entire force—three at the Undergoing Tribulation stage, over a dozen at the Mahayana stage, and dozens at the Body Integration stage. They have already passed the northern border of the Southern Wilderness and are heading toward the Imperial Capital."

Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe put down the vermilion brush, stood up, and walked to the window with his hands behind his back.

Outside the window, the sky was gloomy, and dark clouds pressed down, as if a storm were about to break.

"Your Majesty."

Behind him, an old official's voice trembled slightly, "The Liuli Sect is coming with great momentum; can the Imperial Capital hold?"

Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe did not answer. He had sent a message to Old Ancestor Zhou Huaixu immediately, but he had not received any reply yet.

The other powerhouses at the Undergoing Tribulation stage of the Imperial Dynasty were, for some reason, not in the Imperial Capital at this moment.

Relying solely on the Imperial Capital's defensive Formation, along with him and a few imperial advisors, how long could they hold out?

He did not know.

"Pass down the order." Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe turned around, his voice as steady as a mountain.

"Activate the defensive Formation and place the entire city under martial law. All garrison troops outside must immediately return to defend the Imperial Capital."

The old official bowed to acknowledge the order and turned to leave in a hurry.

Half a day later, over the capital of the Zhouwu Dynasty, the originally clear sky suddenly darkened as a massive black spirit boat blocked out the light.

The spirit boat hovered in the sky outside the capital. The carving of the Vicious Beast's head on the bow gleamed with a cold, piercing light in the sunlight, and the spirit bead in its mouth emitted an eerie glow.

On the spirit boat, dozens of figures stood with their hands behind their backs.

The three Grand Elders stood at the very front, releasing their pressure as powerhouses at the Undergoing Tribulation stage without reservation, pressing down on the entire capital like three great mountains.

In the city, countless people collapsed to the ground, their faces pale.

The Cultivators were no better off; each one had a grave expression, gripping their Magical Artifacts tightly, not daring to even breathe.

The pressure of the Undergoing Tribulation stage was not something they could contend with.

In the Imperial Palace, Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe stood in front of the hall with his hands behind his back, looking up at the massive spirit boat in the sky, his expression as calm and heavy as water.

Behind him, Prince Zhao Zhou Zhenyue and several imperial advisors stood side by side, all with grave expressions.

"Has the Old Ancestor not replied yet?" Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe asked in a low voice.

Prince Zhao Zhou Zhenyue shook his head, his expression ugly.

Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe was silent for a moment, took a deep breath, and stepped out of the hall.

"Your Majesty!" Prince Zhao Zhou Zhenyue grabbed him, "It's too dangerous outside; you cannot—"

"I am the Emperor of the Zhouwu Dynasty." Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe interrupted him, his gaze calm and firm.

"The Liuli Sect has reached our doorstep. If I don't even dare to show my face, where will the dignity of the Zhouwu Dynasty go?"

Prince Zhao Zhou Zhenyue opened his mouth but ultimately said nothing more.

Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe climbed the city tower and looked up at the black spirit boat in the sky. His voice was not loud, but it clearly entered the ears of everyone present:

"Sect Leader Lin Guiya, why is your Liuli Sect invading my Zhouwu Dynasty?"

On the spirit boat, a figure slowly walked out—it was none other than the Liuli Sect Sect Master Lin Guiya.

He stood at the bow of the boat with his hands behind his back, looking down at Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe from above. The corners of his mouth curled into a cold arc: "Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe, you are asking what you already know."

His voice was not loud, but it exploded over the capital like a thunderclap, causing the eardrums of countless Cultivators in the city to tremble.

"Your Zhouwu Dynasty killed my Liuli Sect's Grand Elder, Second Elder, and four inner Sect Elders. Blood debts must be paid in blood."

Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe's expression did not change, his gaze fixed on Sect Leader Lin Guiya:

"Sect Leader Lin, your Liuli Sect people attacked first within my Zhouwu Dynasty territory, trying to capture my Zhouwu Dynasty's honored guest. I acted to protect them; what is wrong with that?"

"As for the blood debt you speak of—"

He paused, his voice sinking: "It is the Liuli Sect that owed it first."

Sect Leader Lin Guiya sneered and was about to speak when an old voice slowly sounded from behind him: "No need to waste words with him."

Mo Yunting walked out from the depths of the spirit boat, standing with his hands behind his back, his gaze falling on Dynasty Lord Zhou Shanhe.

There was no emotional fluctuation in those eyes, as if he were looking at an ant.

"Zhouwu Dynasty, killing my Liuli Sect Elder, you deserve to be executed."

As his voice fell, he raised his hand and waved.

A stream of pitch-black spirit power surged from his palm, transforming into a giant palm that blotted out the sky, slamming down fiercely toward the defensive Formation over the capital.
