258: Push the door

The Domain dissipated.

Xiao Weiqing put away his thousand flame blade, completely unharmed.

The Silver-Clad Man, however, was in a wretched state; only half of his face remained, and his arms and feet were damaged to varying degrees.

"You won."

Xiao Weiqing nodded. "Is there any reward?"

"No."

"No?"

Xiao Weiqing was displeased.

"By passing the trial, you can continue forward. There are greater opportunities ahead," the Silver-Clad Man said hurriedly.

"That's it?"

The Silver-Clad Man nodded.

"Is there any more divine charm substance?"

"No more. There used to be a lot, but that Dongfang Hao from last time snatched all the divine charm substance away."

Xiao Weiqing frowned. "Why didn't you stop him?"

"I tried, but I couldn't."

"That's not right. If Dongfang Hao snatched all the divine charm substance, where did the ones I used come from?"

The Silver-Clad Man explained, "There are a few special places on the spaceship where it can be collected slowly. That's all that has been gathered over so many years."

"Where is that place?" Xiao Weiqing asked.

Then he added, "I'm just curious, nothing more."

"..."

"You can't go there, and there isn't enough time."

"Where you need to go now is deep into the Azure Dragon Dojo; there's something you need there."

Having said that, the Silver-Clad Man walked into Room 6, presumably to recover his body.

Before Xiao Weiqing could think further.

Suddenly.

A door appeared out of thin air behind him, and three people covered in blood burst in, along with a golden hedgehog less than a foot tall.

Xiao Weiqing turned his head.

He saw Gong Feng.

"Xiao Weiqing, save us!"

Gong Feng collapsed to the ground. Catching sight of Xiao Weiqing out of the corner of his eye, he hurriedly called for help.

Xiao Weiqing's figure flickered as he arrived at the doorway.

Facing the overwhelming swarm of Mechanical Lifeforms, he gave a casual wave of his hand.

"Boom—"

Samadhi True Fire filled the corridor.

"Hiss hiss— hiss— roar—"

The monsters let out wretched screams that made one's scalp tingle.

Whoosh!

The little hedgehog jumped high and rushed toward Xiao Weiqing, who caught it in his grip.

"Hello, my name is Golden Thorn, of the Spirit Beast race. Can you take me out of here? I can tell you where the god's legacy is." Golden Thorn said while gesticulating wildly in mid-air.

Xiao Weiqing looked at the little fellow, who was only at the Third Realm strength, and frowned slightly.

"What's that smell on you?"

"The blood of those monsters," Little Jin explained.

"How about it? As long as you take me out, I can sign a contract with you."

"Not interested."

Xiao Weiqing tossed the little hedgehog aside and walked over to Gong Feng and the other two.

"How are you guys?"

Gong Feng swallowed a few Medicinal Pills and spoke, "We're okay, won't die."

"Xiao Weiqing, thank you. My name is He Zheng, and this is Li Lingling."

At this moment, Li Lingling was in a very bad state; her face was pale, and purple-red blood was flowing from her calf.

"Are you poisoned?"

Li Lingling nodded. "It's spider venom. I'm okay for now, but I don't have much combat strength left."

"Xiao Weiqing, have you discovered anything here? Can we get out?"

Now, Gong Feng no longer wanted to seize treasures; he only wanted to get out alive.

The little hedgehog hopped up and said, "I know! Go deep into the Azure Dragon Dojo. You can get out from there, and there's even a god's legacy!"

Xiao Weiqing glanced at the little hedgehog. "How do you know?"

Gong Feng said, "Golden Thorn has been here for many years. It was he who led us here. The Mechanical Lifeforms outside are increasing in number; it's all thanks to him."

Xiao Weiqing nodded and asked, "Can you still walk then?"

"If you can walk, let's go together."

The three looked at each other; this was undoubtedly the best outcome.

"Okay."

Four people and one hedgehog.

They walked toward the interior of the spaceship... Trial Field No. 5, the deepest part.

Seven Training Camp Trainees were huddled together, each of them wounded.

Irina was in a sorry state at this time; her combat suit was tattered, revealing large patches of skin, but no one was in the mood to admire it.

They had just experienced a life-and-death battle.

"Damn! If the Divine Temple doesn't give me two Level 7 Innate Skills this time, this matter isn't over."

Irina cursed inwardly. For the sake of a key, she had almost lost her life.

"Hey, I'm going to Trial Field No. 3. What about you guys?"

"No. 3?"

"Irina, Trial Field No. 3 is even more dangerous than No. 5. I just escaped from Trial Field No. 4. Believe me, it's best not to go."

After being on this spaceship for a few days, everyone had figured out the rules of these numbered doors.

There were opportunities inside the white doors, while the black doors would release corresponding Mechanical Lifeform monsters. The lower the number, the stronger the hunting Mechanical Lifeforms, and correspondingly, the better the items obtained at the end.

Irina's key was obtained from a hundred-meter-tall corpse. Just getting to the foot of the corpse had taken quite an effort, and in the end, she only managed to obtain the key with the help of the azure dragon token.

However, Irina still decided to go to Trial Field No. 3.

She knew that the opportunities in the first three Trial Fields were all related to gods. This was recorded in her Family's records, though it was regarding the Vermilion Bird Summoning Order. She believed that the four great temples were the same.

"You guys divide these things among yourselves. Go to Training Field No. 6 first; the difficulty of returning from there should be a bit lower."

Seeing that Irina was determined, the other six Trainees did not try to persuade her further, nor did anyone follow her. After all, it was too dangerous.

The harvest this time was enough for them, and they didn't even have to hand it over to the Divine Temple. Now they only thought about getting out safely.

"Then be careful."

The six Trainees left together.

Irina recovered on the spot. An hour later, she began her journey to Trial Field No. 3... On the other side.

Under the guidance of Golden Thorn and supported by Xiao Weiqing's formidable strength, the four people and one Spirit Beast reached the final destination of the Trial Field within half a day.

A door stood before them, blocking their path—a massive door, 200 meters high and 80 meters wide.

"Inside is something related to the gods."

Golden Thorn's voice tempted the four.

Xiao Weiqing asked, "What's inside?"

Golden Thorn shook its head. "I don't know exactly; I've never been inside."

"How do we get in?"

"Push!"

"Push?"

Gong Feng asked in confusion, somewhat doubting if he had heard correctly.

Golden Thorn nodded. "That's right, push. If you can't push it open, you can't go in."

Xiao Weiqing was a bit skeptical and took out his azure dragon token. Seeing this, the other three also took out their own azure dragon tokens.

However.

Several minutes passed, and nothing unusual happened.

Golden Thorn said, "I told you to push, but you didn't believe me."

Left with no choice, Xiao Weiqing had to press both hands against the door and push with force.

Gong Feng and the other two also began to push the door.

It was heavy.

Very heavy.

Boom—

Xiao Weiqing entered his Flame True Body form.

"Open for me!!!"

Buzz... As if an ancient tomb were being opened, the two giant doors slowly cracked open a tiny sliver.

But it wasn't even an inch wide; even Golden Thorn's body couldn't pass through.

"Phew—"

Several of them gasped for breath.

"Keep going! It's about to open."

Golden Thorn urged from the side.

"You little runt, don't just shout. Come and help!" Gong Feng said irritably.

"Me?"

Golden Thorn looked at its own tiny claws, then at the giant door in front of it, seemingly confirming it hadn't misheard.

"Nonsense! Hurry up!"

"Alright."

"Together!"

"Ready—"

"Ah—"

The four people and one Spirit Beast pushed the door with all their might. The golden spines on Golden Thorn's back stood up one by one.

The veins on the arms of Xiao Weiqing and the others bulged.

Buzz—

Fortunately, everyone's efforts were not in vain. The two giant doors slowly shifted, opening a gap of two feet.

"That's about enough. As long as we can get in."

"Who goes first?"

Through the gap in the door, they could only see light on the other side; they couldn't see anything else.
