Although I know there aren't many people reading this book, I still wanted to write something.
Novels have always been a passion of mine; from junior high school to university, novels have never been absent from my life.
After entering the workforce, novels were the only things that could console my soul. Having read so many books, I began to form my own ideas.
I had always wanted to write a modern warfare novel, but the realistic genre has significant limitations, so I adopted the format of a game-like otherworld.
This genre isn't actually too obscure, it's just that my writing skills and ability to shape plots are limited, so I can't write more brilliant storylines.
However, I still love this flawed story. At the very least, despite such poor performance, I have persisted and haven't abandoned it.
Now, as it's about to go paid, I look at the over one hundred chapters of backlog in the backend and feel a bit emotional. This is the book I've worked the hardest on, yet the results are so terrible; in the past, I always wrote daily on the fly.
But this doesn't affect my creative passion. Grand scenes from the future battlefields of Hanhai Star keep emerging in my mind, and I hope someone will come to share them with me.
Thank you to my editor, Niqiu, for giving me the opportunity to sign a contract. I used to always drop my stories or have them fizzle out, so to be signed again and even receive recommendations, I truly feel humbled. Thank you again.
I've rambled too much, and you, my esteemed readers, probably don't want to hear it, so let's talk about what happens after it goes paid.
I have a backlog, but considering my part-time job, I can't do massive releases. Therefore, I will increase the daily updates from two to three chapters. Since it's launching today, I'll release five chapters first.
From now on, for every one hundred new follows, I will add one extra chapter. If any big shots tip, I will update accordingly—ten thousand starting coins will get an extra chapter. Of course, I estimate there aren't many readers left anyway.
Lastly, I'll say this: this book is tentatively planned to finish at two million words, subject to change based on plot development, but it will definitely not have a sloppy ending!
