113: Chapter 113 Is this the kind of beauty a human can possess?
"Holy crap!"
"This is Jiang Yuan?!"
"Is this a real person???"
"Is this beauty really something a human can possess?"
"Mom, I'm in love..."
"Oh my, those peach blossom eyes. Is she looking at me? I'm dying!"
"Which one is Jiang Yuan? How did you guys recognize her at a glance?"
"First time watching a Spark stream? The other two have appeared on stream before! So of course it's the prettiest one!"
"Brothers, spam 'waifu' in the chat!"
"With looks like that, why not become a big star and make a name for yourself? Why stay here as a minor Producer?"
"Bro, watch your timing with the memes. Jiang Yuan can hardly be called a minor Producer now. Not even talking about the future, right now she's already many times better than the big stars you're talking about!"
No one knew who started the trend.
The originally diverse and chaotic bullet chat was immediately washed away by a tide of "waifu" messages filling the screen.
Occasionally, a few different ones like "Step on me, Big Sis" or "Her eyes are so beautiful" would float by, but they were instantly drowned out by the army of "waifu" comments.
Su Meng sat at the edge of the camera frame. Looking at the bullet chat, her eye twitched slightly, and an uncomfortable feeling welled up in her heart.
Frowning, she thought for a moment and leaned in to whisper something into Jiang Yuan's ear.
Jiang Yuan was taken aback for a moment upon hearing it, then couldn't help but laugh.
It wasn't a calculated "business smile" designed for a specific moment; it was just a natural curl of the lips, her eyes crinkling slightly.
Yet, with just such a simple smile, the bullet chat exploded once again.
"She smiled! She smiled!"
"Screenshot taken!"
"I declare this the most beautiful smile I've seen all year!"
"What did the lady next to her say? I want to know too!"
"Waifu, waifu, waifu! I declare that Yui Shingaki, you're no longer my waifu!"
"Am I the only one who noticed that all three in the studio are incredibly good-looking? The average looks at Spark Games are just ridiculous!"
"I can't imagine how much of a feast for the eyes it would be to work at Spark every day!"
Jiang Yuan glanced at the bullet chat with a faint smile, thinking to herself: If you guys knew that Su Meng just suggested adding 'waifu' to the filtered words list, I wonder if you'd still be this friendly and happy.
Whispering "no need" to Su Meng, Jiang Yuan cleared her throat and said in a crisp, pleasant voice:
"Hello everyone, I'm Jiang Yuan from Spark Games! Next to me is our company's lead artist, Su Meng, and the lovely girl on the right is Lin Ran, a member of our Art Group!"
Su Meng waved with a bright smile. Her gentle, quiet temperament and exceptional looks garnered a wave of praise in the bullet chat; she didn't seem affected by Jiang Yuan's rejection of her suggestion.
Meanwhile, the blonde and strikingly beautiful Lin Ran stiffly raised her hand and waved at the camera like a clumsy penguin.
Yet, it was precisely this naive and dorky appearance, contrasting with her top-tier looks, that triggered an even more intense wave of comments.
Jiang Yuan continued in a clear voice:
"There's no special plan for today's stream. I'm just going to chat with everyone and play a bit of Minecraft. I'm actually not very good at it and only know a little, so please don't laugh at me."
Bullet chat:
"Hey, with a face like that, I'm fine with whatever you say. Forget my money, I'd give you my life!"
"Spoken like a true man! Me too!"
"A Producer who's not good at their own game? Then Miss Jiang Yuan must be a total Bronze-tier noob!"
"Waifu waifu waifu waifu wai..."
"Please, don't play the game!!! Just sit there and chat with us!!!"
She stopped looking at the bullet chat, where the vast majority—save for a few—hadn't yet realized the gravity of the situation.
As Jiang Yuan opened Minecraft, the Sunflower Plains—already incredibly familiar to countless players—instantly occupied the main screen of the stream.
Glancing at the bullet chat, which was now filled with question marks as people began to realize, Jiang Yuan smiled and selected single-player mode to enter her save file.
As the game graphics gradually appeared, the overwhelming flood of question marks that had covered the screen seemed to come to a complete standstill.
Because in Jiang Yuan's save file, there was an incredibly magnificent and grand ancient city.
The city walls were a mix of stone bricks and polished granite, stretching endlessly as far as the eye could see, showcasing the city's vast majesty.
A Star-Gazing Tower stood in the center of the city, its spire so high it almost pierced the clouds, as if reaching into the starry sky.
The houses on both sides of the streets were of varying heights, each with a differently colored roof. The water in the moat was channeled from a distant mountain, shimmering under the sunlight.
At the very center of the city was a vast and towering Palace City complex, solemn and magnificent. At first glance, it felt as if one had accidentally stumbled into the Imperial Forbidden City.
The bullet chat's complaints about Jiang Yuan's camera feed getting smaller were momentarily forgotten, replaced by awe and shock at this ancient megacity.
"WTF?"
"?????"
"You call this 'not very good'???"
"Producer Jiang, do you have some kind of misunderstanding about what 'not very good' means?"
"Oh my god, this is too spectacular. It feels like she built the entire ancient city of Beiping?"
"Is it Beiping? To me, it looks more like Jinling."
"I haven't played this game, so I'm asking because I don't know—how long would it take to build a city like this?"
"You're asking me? I've played the fourteen-day free trial, and I'm still living in an oversized toilet!"
"I don't know either. I'm still living in a cave I dug out of a mountain!"
"Don't look at me, I'm still living in a hole dug underground..."
Jiang Yuan controlled the blocky character to walk through the city gate. Looking at the bullet chat, she said with a light laugh as she walked:
"It hasn't been that long, about a month or so. It's mainly because I can't play for long stretches. I only build a bit every night after work, and sometimes if I work too late, I don't build at all, so it looks like it took a lot of time."
Perhaps it was because that first batch of screenshots had already begun to circulate across the internet.
Or perhaps word had spread through various forums and groups.
The number of concurrent viewers in Spark Game Platform's official stream was becoming increasingly absurd, having already surpassed the three-million mark during this time and continuing to soar at a significant rate.
If the viewership from other platforms and even international sites were added, hitting five million would likely be effortless.
Although Jiang Yuan never expected this stream to boost Minecraft's sales by several million—that would be an exaggeration.
But if she could convert even a tenth of these people into potential users for the Spark Game Platform, then all her hard work preparing for this official stream would have been worth it.
