182: Chapter 182 Three-pronged approach, the Spark Game begins a new phase.

The next morning, Jiang Yuan handled several routine matters after arriving at the office.

Around ten o'clock, Qin Gong brought over the final review list for the first phase of Sparklight. It was a thick stack, with detailed review comments attached to each project.

Jiang Yuan flipped through it. There were more projects that passed the preliminary review than she had expected. Among them, the ones that had left the deepest impression on her were all on the list. She set the list aside, planning to review them collectively after meeting with Li Xin in the afternoon.

She stayed busy until noon, had lunch, and then rested for a while during her lunch break.

At 2:50 PM, as Jiang Yuan was resuming work, Chu Qing came to knock on the door, saying that Li Xin had arrived and was waiting in the small reception room.

Jiang Yuan nodded, closed the scene optimization document she was reading, and headed toward the reception room.

Today, she was wearing a pair of black casual trousers and a thin white fleece jacket, giving her a slightly professional look, with her ink-black long hair draped casually over her shoulders.

Despite her youth—she was only twenty-three—that exquisite, flawless, and beautiful face could easily exert considerable pressure on anyone facing her, as long as she maintained a neutral expression.

The door to the small reception room was slightly ajar.

When Jiang Yuan pushed the door open and entered, a man in his early thirties stood up from the sofa.

He was wearing a dark gray sweatshirt and silver thin-framed glasses. He had a lean build, and his expression seemed somewhat nervous and respectful; it was clear he wasn't very socially adept.

Upon seeing Jiang Yuan, the man first looked a bit stunned by her beauty, but then he didn't dare to look further. He quickly took the initiative to greet her respectfully yet politely:

“Hello, President Jiang. I am Li Xin. Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to meet with me!”

Nodding slightly, Jiang Yuan sat down on the opposite sofa, gave him a gentle look, and said calmly:

“Sit down first, no need to be formal! I’ve read your proposal; it has some interesting ideas, but it feels like it might be very difficult to implement?”

Li Xin's expression stiffened slightly.

He quickly sat down, his hands clenched into fists, a flash of nervousness crossing his face. Then he took a deep breath, looked at Jiang Yuan, and said sincerely:

“President Jiang, I know that proposal was written very briefly. To be honest, when I submitted it, I thought there was a high probability it would be filtered out.”

Jiang Yuan smiled and asked with interest in a crisp voice:

“Then why did you still submit it?”

Li Xin seemed less nervous than at the start and continued seriously:

“Because I put everything I could think of into it.”

“I don't really know how to write a formal proposal document, and I don't have experience in the game industry, but I know very clearly what kind of game I want to make.”

Jiang Yuan nodded slightly and remained silent, waiting for him to continue.

The meeting lasted for less than twenty minutes.

Although Li Xin's eloquence wasn't as good as some of the game Producers Jiang Yuan had met before—even being on par with that silly Shen Qinghe—

Overall,

he successfully expressed all his inspiration and ideas for the game, as well as how he would manage things after establishing a small team.

Regarding this,

even though Jiang Yuan had looked as cold as ice throughout, seemingly exerting an immense, overwhelming pressure,

in the end, she still gave a certain degree of affirmation to Li Xin's plan. This filled the young man—who was initially so nervous he didn't even know where to put his hands—with emotion and gratitude, looking as if he might raise his hands and sing a hymn of praise from his heart.

When Li Xin left, although he was still a bit nervous, his state was like night and day compared to when he first entered. His shoulders were no longer so tense, and his face wore an obvious, joyful smile.

Jiang Yuan had someone from the company lead this imaginative rookie Producer, who also worked in Shanghai, out of the building.

After a thirty-minute lunch break, Jiang Yuan, who had basically fully recovered her energy,

went straight back to her office and continued working on company matters.

However, before getting busy with work, she first sent a message to Qin Gong, asking him to send a copy of the proposal document templates from past Sparklight projects to Li Xin. This was so the guy would at least have some experience before officially embarking on the path of game production and wouldn't run into walls everywhere.

After sending it, she picked up the black tea Chu Qing had just brewed and took a sip. Before she could even set the cup down, an internal call from Wen Lan came in.

She set down the cup and answered the phone, only to hear Wen Lan's pleasant, gentle voice, as smooth as water:

“President Jiang, Sister Zhao is back. She says the preliminary research on the mobile game companies is ready and wants to know if you're available now?”

“Mhm, have her come straight over.”

In less than three minutes, Zhao Qingrong knocked, received permission, and pushed the door open.

Today, she was still wearing a dark blue suit jacket, fully embodying the popular image of a strong career woman in terms of style and aura.

She held a folder that wasn't too thick. After sitting down, she didn't waste time with pleasantries and gently spread the folder open in front of Jiang Yuan, saying warmly:

“President Jiang, I've screened a total of six independent teams on the market with complete mobile development experience, ranging in size from about ten to thirty people. I've done a preliminary ranking based on team stability, product history, and willingness to sell. The top three are marked on the first page; please take your time looking through them!”

Jiang Yuan opened the folder and her eyes fell on the first page.

Zhao Qingrong's style of doing things was like her personality: clean and efficient, without any nonsense.

The core information of each company was clearly listed in a table: team size, backgrounds of core members, product data from the last three years, current operating status, and most importantly, their intent to sell after preliminary contact—everything was listed as clearly as could be.

Zhao Qingrong extended a finger and tapped the first row of the table, saying softly:

“The one ranked first is Fengdong Technology in Chengdu. They currently have twenty-three people and have made two overseas casual mobile games. Their DAU data is quite good, but their capital chain had issues after their overseas publisher withdrew investment last year. They are currently surviving on outsourcing projects.

I spoke with their founder on the phone. They are not opposed to an acquisition or being broken up and reorganized. They only hope to retain the core members of the company and arrange good placements for the others.”

Jiang Yuan's gaze lingered on the product data column for Windmove Tech as she fell into thought.

Two overseas casual mobile games with good data despite the withdrawal of investment; the foundation of such a team is usually solid. The problems mostly lie in business and operations, not in product capability.

She looked up at Zhao Qingrong and instructed with a calm expression on her exquisite face:

“Since Fengdong Technology has the highest priority, arrange for due diligence. As for the other two alternatives, maintain contact for now, but push Windmove forward first!”

Zhao Qingrong nodded and noted it down. After a few brief pleasantries with the company boss, she closed the folder and stood up to take her leave decisively.

After the door closed, the office became quiet again.

Jiang Yuan leaned against the back of her chair, her gaze drifting as she began to daydream to relax her brain.

In the process, she mentally connected the information Zhao Qingrong had just reported with the items decided in yesterday's meeting.

The mobile acquisition had a clear target, Qin Gong was already working on the preparations for the new studio, and the final review meeting for Sparklight would be held next week.

Three lines in parallel—all three matters were moving forward according to the timeline she had envisioned.

But the faster they progressed, the greater the workload for the coming period would be.

If nothing else, just the integration after bringing in the twenty or so people from Fengdong Technology would be enough to keep her and the HR department busy for a while.

After spacing out for a bit, Jiang Yuan rubbed the back of her neck and returned her gaze to the screen, continuing her busy work.
