Chapter 64: Meanwhile...When Yu Xuan departed for the Elemental Heaven Peak, two girls remained behind.

Ming Tianmei and Yu Lingluo watched his silhouette fade into the teleportation light, each harboring different emotions.

After a few more groups were called and sent off, only the two of them were left. The senior disciple exchanged a brief word with his assistant, then turned toward them and said, "Junior Sister Ming Tianmei, let’s start with you first."

Just before she could step forward, Lingluo suddenly wrapped her arms around her in a hug and said, "Don’t forget me. Though, knowing you, you probably won’t. And make sure to visit from time to time."

"I will. And if I can’t, you’re always welcome to come see me," Tianmei replied warmly.

"I’m lazy. I won’t come," Lingluo said immediately and broke the hug with a playful pout.

Ming Tianmei sighed. Her mood really could shift like a storm. Chaotic as always.

Still, she was Yu Xuan’s only sister. And with some vague understanding of the future, Ming Tianmei had no desire to ever offend her — because doing so would inevitably mean offending Yu Xuan himself.

And only she knew what kind of fate awaited those who made that mistake.

She stepped into the teleportation array, waved one last time at Lingluo, and as the senior disciple gestured, she vanished in a flash of light.

Where she arrived was a quiet town — unusually still, almost like time moved slower here.



But instead of being greeted by a fellow disciple, an old man stood waiting for her. His face was partially obscured by a strange cloth, making his expression hard to read.

"Welcome, child of heaven," the old man said, his voice hoarse yet commanding.

Ming Tianmei’s brow twitched. That cryptic voice and half-covered face always irritated her.

Still, she bowed with polite decorum and asked, "I am Ming Tianmei, Elder. May I ask who you are?"

The old man clearly noticed her irritation but didn’t comment. Instead, he smiled faintly and said, "From this moment on, I am your master."

"But... I was told there would be a test," she said, looking slightly confused.

"You don’t need to go through such formalities," he replied calmly.

Ming Tianmei sighed inwardly. This so-called master of hers never answered questions directly.

To this day, she still didn’t know what exact position he held in the sect — only that he was highly respected, even feared, by some.

"Then what must I do to officially accept you as my master?" she asked, already guessing the answer.

The old man’s voice brightened ever so slightly, and he coughed before saying with exaggerated solemnity,

"Come with me to perform the disciple ceremony. Judging by your calm demeanor, I can see you’re truly a child of heaven — unbothered by trivial questions."

Before she could respond with sarcasm, he gently tapped her shoulder — and the two of them vanished in a blink.

On the other side, not long after Ming Tianmei had teleported, it was finally Yu Lingluo’s turn.

The senior disciple overseeing the teleportation looked at her and said with a polite smile, "Junior Sister, when you arrive at the teleportation point, just... proceed quietly. Try not to stand out."

"Yes, Senior Brother," Lingluo replied with a cheerful tone. "But do you have a specific reason for that? I don’t usually stand out anyway.", she lied with a straight face.

The senior disciple looked at her bright, innocent face and thought to himself, ’Did I just speak unnecessarily?’

But brushing the thought aside, he continued, "Let’s just say that most disciples from the Chaos Heaven Peak tend to have... unique personalities. It’s not uncommon for them to be involved in more than a few sect-wide disputes."



"Ah. Got it!" she nodded, completely unbothered.

She stepped into the teleportation formation, and at the signal, the array lit up and she vanished.

The senior disciple, now finally alone, let out a long sigh. "Ahh... I just want to relax now," he muttered like a tired office worker waiting for his bonus.

Yu Lingluo materialized inside a bustling plaza — and was immediately surrounded by a chaotic crowd.

"OMG! New blood has arrived!"

"This Junior Sister is super cute!"

"I alone am the Senior Brother!"

"Be quite, you mongrels!"

Suddenly, a loud voice boomed like thunder, "YOU SONS OF BITCHES, SCRAM!"

The crowd scattered instantly like leaves in a storm, dispersing without a trace.

A moment later, a short figure stomped toward Lingluo. She barely reached her eye level — but her presence felt overwhelming.

Lingluo blinked and asked with genuine confusion, "Are you... a doll?"

The short girl smacked Lingluo on the head with a scowl. "Is that how you greet your Senior?!"

Lingluo rubbed her head, grimacing. That hurt. And then... it didn’t.

She had a feeling this girl was definitely a delinquent.

"The Peak Master’s called you. Let’s go," the short girl grunted.

"What? Already?" Lingluo said. "I thought I’d get a tour first. And isn’t the Peak Master supposed to be a lofty figure? Why are they calling me personally?"

"Oi, brat—do I look like your babysitter? Just shut up and follow me!" the shorty snapped and bonked her on the head again.



Lingluo silently vowed ’One day, when I’m stronger than you, I’ll stretch your tiny limbs like noodles.’

The short girl led the way, and as they moved through the peak’s domain, disciples made way for her immediately. It was clear she was someone important. A real bigshot.

After several more head bonks and half an hour of walking, they finally arrived in front of a simple hut.

"The master is inside," said the shorty, then called out, "Master, I’ve brought the new disciple!"

The wooden door creaked open. Lingluo followed her inside—and saw an elderly woman seated on a cushion, her face pale and expression distant. She looked so frail, it was as if she was one breath away from death’s door.

Panicking internally, Lingluo accidentally blurted out loudly, "Wait—she’s not going to die before handing me cultivation resources, right?!"

There was a silence.

The short girl looked at her like she couldn’t believe what she just heard.

The old woman’s expression twitched. Her face shifted through several colors like a chameleon.

BONK—!

Yu Lingluo was hit again.

And thus, her first day at Chaos Heaven Peak began... chaotically.
