22: Chapter 22, The Fierce Bow, Part 2!

An individual Cheng Yu is no match for a Genestealer; his stamina and reaction speed are completely crushed in every aspect.

But there are many Cheng Yus.

During the battle, there is no need for vision, because every Cheng Yus Clones knows exactly where the other is located.

A Genestealer pouncing on Main Body was shot in the head by another Cheng Yus Clones.

And just as the Main Body climbed up, he fired a shot into the smoke, killing another Genestealer that wanted to launch a sneak attack.

Hundreds of thousands of Cheng Yus Clones have landed on the surface of Li Yu Planet; they do not need to assemble, nor do they need to study combat maps.

They only need to survive, find a target, and then another Cheng Yus Clones will come to eliminate the enemy.

A single Cheng Yu is just a weak nerd, but once a dozen or so Cheng Yus form a small attack formation... every Cheng Yus Clones is a brain, every Cheng Yus Clones is an eye, and every Cheng Yus Clones is a demon killing Genestealers in the smoke.

"Detected Bishop-class Genestealer!"

As a strong signal blossomed within the shared consciousness.

Tens of thousands of nearby Cheng Yus Clones immediately fell into a frenzy.

Cheng Yu also issued an order: "He who kills the Bishop shall be rewarded with a thousand catties of dried meat and enfeoffed as a Marquis of Ten Thousand Households!"

A Genestealer cult Bishop usually only appears once per planet.

This Bishop is the neural node for The Great Devourer here.

It is unaffected by cognitive filters; it is a pure Tyranids / Tyranid.

As long as he is killed or controlled, this battle is won!

"Kill!"

"For the God-Emperor!"

Surrounding the Genestealer Bishop who was fleeing frantically in the sea of fire.

Countless Genestealers and Cheng Yus Clones tore at each other.

The scene was already very chaotic; at this point, neither side would fire their guns, otherwise, it would be easy to hit their own people with ricochets.

Both sides believed they were fighting for humanity.

Both sides had turned into the most primitive creatures.

Smashing with stones, biting with teeth, headbutting, pushing the opponent into the sea of fire, stabbing burning wood into the opponent's eyes, and smashing the opponent's skull with a rifle butt.

The sounds of slaughter in the smoke reached the sky, and the blood flowing from the corpses extinguished the flames.

The Bishop-class Genestealer revealed its form.

Its tall and hunched body was hidden in tattered grey cloth, but it could not hide those huge, fly-like compound eyes.

There were many Genestealer guards around the Bishop, and more Genestealers were rushing here; it seemed impossible to kill it in the short term.

"Hit!"

Amidst the chaos, a Cheng Yus Clones fired an arrow.

This Cheng Yus Clones was a veteran who had survived the "Starship Reclamation Battle" and the "Frontline Position Reclamation Battle."

Because he had undergone training and eaten a lot of Ork meat, he looked more robust than the other Cheng Yus Clones.

This longbow was originally a winch lever from an Ork starship, which he had modified into a longbow after capturing it.

The steel arrow head firmly struck the Bishop's head with great force, sinking in almost halfway. The target fell to the ground immediately; it was unknown whether it was dead or not, but all the Genestealers fell into chaos in an instant.

Although they were still resisting, their combat clearly lacked organization, turning into passive retaliation after falling into a panic.

"Good! From now on, you are the patriarch of the 'Longbow' Clan! A First-Class Marquis, with ten million retainers, and all the land on Li Yu Planet outside the Hive City is your fief!"

Main Body immediately began the enfeoffment; although all the Cheng Yus Clones shared the same consciousness, they still possessed a sliver of individual will. When it was time to reward them heavily, one could not be stingy, so that the Cheng Yus Clones could have something to look forward to.

"Ten thousand victories! Ten thousand victories! Ten thousand victories!"

The battle on Li Yu Planet came to an end. Without the Bishop as a neural node, the remaining Genestealers were like a rabbit's tail... they wouldn't last long.

Next, it depended on how Inquisitor von Drake was doing over there.

...

During the battle intermissions, Main Body still needed to process various memorials submitted by the Cheng Yus Clones. As an Emperor, working from dawn till dusk was the bare minimum of character.

This was just the beginning; in the future, Main Body would probably have to build himself a Golden Throne, where he could do nothing every day but review memorials.

He would have to be fed nutrient solution, and there would be a toilet right under the throne.

Currently, these secret reports mainly revolved around Aria, as well as some newly surrendered foreign talents who were being closely monitored.

Secret reports from Liu Fei Planet indicated that the identities of the people Aria had brought over had been verified.

They were her ex-boyfriend, her ex-ex-boyfriend, her ex-ex-ex-boyfriend, and the relatives of this boyfriend group.

Countess Dukaria seemed to want to choose one from among the three ex-boyfriends to replace her deceased fiancé.

"666." Cheng Yu noted, "Among these three ex-boyfriends, is there anyone with special talent?"

The shared consciousness immediately updated the information. According to the observations of the Cheng Yus Clones, one of them, named Israeil, should be an onboard engineer among the Aeldari. When they went to pick these people up, it was he who fixed the engine failure during the return voyage.

The other two had not yet displayed any talent.

However, this Israeil seemed to be the one least favored by Countess Dukaria; to be precise, his emotional intelligence when speaking was relatively low.

According to the estimates of the Cheng Yus Clones, if the Empire did not intervene, the probability of Israeil winning in the domestic struggle was less than three in a thousand.

"It's not that low; if Aria really had no intention, she wouldn't have brought him over."

Main Body noted: "If there are no updated observations, tentatively plan to help Israeil win the domestic struggle. Make contact with him and see what conditions are needed for him to hand over the relevant technology for the Aeldari Warp engine."

"Understood."

Other secret reports were mainly about those prisoners who were unwilling to cooperate with the Empire, as well as the wedding of the patriarch of the Iron Fist Clan; most were nothing unusual.

The attitudes of the stubborn prisoners were gradually loosening. Every standard hour, people were submitting to the Empire, and the remaining people were actively inquiring about the treatment after submission.

As long as the hoe is swung well, there is no wall corner that cannot be dug; Main Body was very satisfied.

However, regarding the wife of the patriarch of the Iron Fist Clan, there was some disturbing intelligence.

The Iron Fist patriarch reported that he loathed his wife—not an emotional aversion, but a physiological one.

Although his wife had white hair and red eyes and was beautiful, as long as he approached her within a certain distance, he would develop a physiological aversion, and in severe cases, he would even vomit and convulse.

The Iron Fist patriarch requested a divorce from his wife.

Main Body noted: "The request is denied. Since the reigns of the Three Sovereigns and the Five Emperors, marital relations have always been the foundation of moral order—Adam's rib became Eve, and Bai Suzhen was suppressed under the Leifeng Pagoda. It takes a hundred years of cultivation to share a boat, and a thousand years to share a pillow. How can you abandon the marriage bestowed by Heaven just because of a momentary dislike? Repent, and that is all."
