44: Chapter 44 The Thirteen Offices, Secretly Carrying Out Missions

The Sector Alliance had been defeated.

The army of Main Body's Clones had already stormed the Alliance's flagship.

"His Majesty has decreed: all enemies without calluses on their hands are not to be accepted for surrender; kill them all!"

"Understood!"

The Alliance flagship instantly transformed into a slaughterhouse of Khorne. The nobles' ears were uniformly severed to keep count, and the rate of killing was so fast that the officers in charge of recording merit could not keep up.

Main Body was a terrifying Gene Tyrant, so naturally, he possessed no civilized methods.

The chance to save their lives had been given to them twice, but they had failed to grasp it.

"Don't kill me! I am a Rogue Trader. I am very wealthy, and I can offer it all to you!"

Because he had been knocked out by neurotoxins earlier, the Rogue Trader Kaelus had luckily avoided the infighting among the lords.

But as soon as he woke up, he was surrounded by the clones of the Gene Tyrant.

"This person has calluses on his hands, but his clothes clearly mark him as a noble. How should we handle him?"

The grunt-level Cheng Yus were in a dilemma, so they chose to ignore Kaelus and went to kill the other nobles without calluses first.

Before leaving, they even snatched away Kaelus's gorgeous clothes, leaving him with only a pair of shorts to cover his body.

...

"We don't have time to take you prisoner. Go to the back and fill out a form yourself!"

Kaelus shivered in the corner for a good while before a clone resembling an officer walked over and slapped a form onto him. "You... you can read, right?"

"I can read, I can read! I'm a scribe, just like a writing Servitor."

Kaelus was now extremely grateful that he had spent a fortune to augment his body, and that the Magos had performed the augmentation with the mindset of creating a strong slave.

After all, a Rogue Trader is a slave to profit themselves. If you don't learn to oppress yourself first, how would you know how to oppress others?

"Officer, there are Aeldari on the ship! I'll take you to capture the Aeldari!"

Alliance Vice Leader Marek was not dead yet, because he practiced throwing knives diligently, so he also had calluses on his hands.

"Bah! To save your own life, you're truly shameless!"

The Rogue Trader Kaelus saw this scene while filling out his form.

But it was useless; absolutely no one listened to what he said.

Alliance Leader Hermann and Marek were the primary culprits in disrupting the peace. Their portraits had already been uploaded to the shared consciousness by Cheng Yu, so they were recognized instantly.

The crazed clones immediately nailed him to the deck with large bolts, using his blood to pay tribute to the fallen clones.

Kaelus had a portrait too, of course, but when Cheng Yu had visited the Alliance as an envoy, he had seen too many faces, and only these two had left a deep impression; the others were not drawn accurately.

Feeling the madness around him, Kaelus hurriedly buried his head in the form, ticking almost every skill box.

From mechanical repair to Xenos languages, he checked them all. He wasn't bragging; he really knew all of these things.

As a Rogue Trader, these were basic skills. When it came to noble temperament, he had received more aristocratic education than all the nobles in the entire Alliance combined.

The prisoners' forms were collected by the Imperial logistics soldiers, and this form, almost completely filled with checkmarks, was immediately noticed.

A Chapter Master Cheng Yu walked up to Kaelus. "If you are lying, I will make you know the consequences of deceiving the Emperor; however, if everything you wrote is the truth, then perhaps I will have to address you as 'My Lord' in the future."

"If there is any deception, I am willing to enter the Chaos hell!"

Kaelus knew... he would be able to survive.

Soon, the Aeldari soldiers on the flagship were also captured.

At that time, these Aeldari wanted to use a special method to seal their souls into a special carrier called a "Spirit Stone" to prevent their souls from being claimed by Slaanesh after death.

But it was useless; Countess Dukaria had long ago taught Cheng Yu's clones how to destroy these seemingly indestructible Spirit Stones.

This applied to both the Aeldari who had already sealed themselves and those who hadn't had the chance to do so.

According to the cooperation agreement signed between His Majesty and Slaanesh, the souls of all captured Aeldari belonged to Slaanesh, as compensation for Slaanesh maintaining the stability of the surrounding Warp trade routes.

Unfortunately, that Aeldari leader named Feran was not captured; it is unknown what method he used to escape.

...

Cheng Yu's flagship, the "dont eat cilantro", had departed before the war was completely won.

The subsequent events were too cruel, and Main Body was kind-hearted and could not bear to watch.

As the Emperor, he only needed to sign "Approved" on the merit reports from the Departmento Munitorum afterward; he didn't need to worry about the specific details.

On the return journey, Main Body was cuddling with Vera while reviewing the newly arrived memorials.

"Hive City riots?" Main Body did a quick search and knew what was going on.

"From now on, set up dedicated gladiatorial areas in every Hive City to normalize gang warfare." Cheng Yu annotated.

This was to control the Imperial population, and also to weed out those clone individuals who were too weak.

Cheng Yu could not completely ban private fights; the Empire needed a normal metabolism.

"It is not I who killed them, but this chaotic era!" Main Body sighed.

"Your Majesty, stop working and keep me company." Ever since Vera had tasted the fruits of passion, she had been like someone corrupted by Slaanesh all day long, making Cheng Yu a bit afraid of her now.

The original ambition of taking ten or eight concubines was now almost like the Alliance fleet... crumbling and vanishing into thin air.

Perhaps it was time to arrange some body augmentation projects; the Warhammer Universe was never short of such outrageous technology.

"My beloved consort, go back and lie down for a while. I will come to keep you company once I have finished handling these matters."

Ignoring Vera's pouting red lips, Cheng Yu opened the next memorial.

This was a secret memorial from the clone specifically tasked with monitoring Countess Dukaria.

The secret memorial stated that Aria was currently in a sadomasochistic relationship with one of his clones, but given the personalities of the two, Thirteen Offices estimated that the possibility of them lasting was very low.

Thirteen Offices was a secret department organized by Middle Chamberlain Cheng Yu, because Middle Chamberlain Cheng Yu was Cheng Yu's thirteenth clone.

Among the first hundred clones, currently only Clone No. 1, which was the main body, Clone No. 3, and Clone No. 13 were still alive, so Cheng Yu considered "13" to be his lucky number.

"Learning of this, my heart is greatly comforted. Dukaria has a flighty and willful personality, but her abilities are truly urgently needed by me. If she is willing to settle down and live a life, it would be a good thing for the Empire and for herself."

"I order you to handle this matter earnestly, and treat the happiness of these two's marriage as a top priority that must be completed. This is my decree."

After reviewing this memorial, Main Body added the clone "Chief of Guards" Cheng Yu to his special attention list within the shared consciousness, and also granted him the authority to view classified intelligence.

This classified intelligence included just how poor the character of that Aeldari, Aria, was.

Some things are better known sooner rather than later.
