177: Chapter 177 Xu Tianhou's Third Script
Jiang Fan hauled Xu Qingya out of the car and carried her into the elevator in his arms, bridal style.
Xu Qingya wrapped one arm around his neck, while her other hand reached for the floor button, needing two tries to get it right.
The elevator doors opened, and Jiang Fan carried her all the way into the bedroom, tossing her onto the bed.
Xu Qingya bounced twice, her hair splayed across the pillows, her cheeks still flushed, as she kicked out a foot to nudge his waist.
"Throw me a little more gently."
Jiang Fan bent down to take off her shoes, his hand tracing up from her ankle.
"Wait a second."
Jiang Fan's hand stopped just above her knee.
Xu Qingya sat up from the pile of pillows, her hair disheveled.
"I prepared something."
Looking at her expression, Jiang Fan felt a "thud" in his mind.
Last time it was leather outfits, whips, and handcuffs; he wondered what kind of trouble she had cooked up this time.
This woman, Xu Qingya, had more creativity in this department than she did in singing.
"What is it?"
Xu Qingya rolled off the bed, ran barefoot to the doorway of the walk-in closet, and looked back at him, clinging to the doorframe.
"Lie down properly. Don't move."
"Xu Qingya, are you trying to —"
"Lie down!"
Jiang Fan swallowed the rest of his sentence, flopped onto the bed, and put his hands behind his head.
Sounds of rummaging through boxes and cabinets came from the walk-in closet.
The rustle of a plastic bag being torn open, and the crisp clinking of metal clasps.
It took about three minutes.
Footsteps emerged from the walk-in closet.
Jiang Fan turned his head to look at the doorway.
Xu Qingya stood there wearing a white nurse's uniform.
It was the short kind, with the hem just covering the tops of her thighs, cinched at the waist, and two rows of buttons neatly fastened across her chest.
White silk stockings extended from beneath the hem, wrapping around her legs, and she had a nurse's cap perched on her head.
She was holding a stethoscope in her hand.
Xu Qingya cleared her throat, trying hard to keep a straight face.
"Mr. Jiang."
She walked toward the bed, hands behind her back, chin slightly raised, imitating a professional detachment.
"According to the examination results, there are some issues with your body, and you need to cooperate with the treatment."
Jiang Fan lay on the bed, watching her walk over.
The material of the nurse's uniform was thinner than he had imagined; with the light hitting her, it was clear at a glance whether she was wearing anything underneath.
"What kind of issues?"
"Rapid heart rate." Xu Qingya walked to the bedside, inserted the earpieces of the stethoscope into her ears, and held the cold metal probe above his chest.
"I need to confirm."
The moment the metal touched his skin, Jiang Fan drew a sharp breath.
"Hmm..." Xu Qingya frowned, feigning an expression of focused listening.
The stethoscope's probe moved slowly across his chest, shifting from the left side to the right, and sliding from the top to the bottom.
"It is indeed very fast." She looked up at him, maintaining her serious medical demeanor quite well—if one ignored the flush on the tips of her ears.
"Further examination is required."
"Where to examine?"
Xu Qingya took the stethoscope off her ears and draped it around her neck.
The metal tubing pressed against her fair neck, and paired with the nurse's uniform, it had an indescribable allure.
"The whole body."
Her fingers rested on the buttons of his shirt.
"Cooperate, Mr. Jiang. I'll help you take your clothes off."
"Miss Nurse, isn't it usually the patient who takes them off themselves?"
The corner of Xu Qingya's mouth twitched; she almost broke character.
She bit her lip hard to suppress her smile.
"You are a patient now. Since you have limited mobility, it is standard procedure for the nurse to assist."
She undid the buttons one by one, her fingernails occasionally grazing his skin.
When she reached the last button, the shirt fell open, and her palm pressed against his abdominal muscles.
"Body temperature is slightly elevated." Her voice began to waver.
"Is it serious, Nurse?"
"Very serious." Xu Qingya climbed onto the bed, swung one leg over him, and knelt over his waist and abdomen.
The hem of her nurse's skirt spread open with this movement, exposing the tops of her thighs in white silk stockings to his view.
She lowered her head, the metal tubing of the stethoscope dangling between them.
"I need to perform... physical cooling on you."
Jiang Fan's hand lifted and rested on her knee.
Xu Qingya slapped his hand away.
"Patients shouldn't move around. The nurse hasn't told you to move yet."
She took a breath and got back into character.
"Mr. Jiang, the upcoming treatment might be a bit... stimulating. Please be patient."
Her hand slid down from his abdomen, her fingertips hooking onto the belt buckle.
She pulled the belt out, tossed it under the bed, and her hand continued downward.
"Blood pressure check."
"Miss Nurse, that's not how you measure blood pressure."
"Shut up. Are you trying to tell me how to do my job?"
When her hand touched the target, her fingers trembled slightly.
Xu Qingya's "professional performance" lasted for about half an hour.
Jiang Fan's hands remained at his sides—being a qualified patient.
"Mr. Jiang..." Xu Qingya's voice was breathless, "The examination results show... all your indicators are off the charts."
"What should we do then?"
"Special treatment... is required."
She straightened up, her fingers moving to the first button of her nurse's uniform.
One button. Two buttons.
The white fabric parted, and she was wearing nothing underneath.
Jiang Fan's Adam's apple bobbed.
Xu Qingya watched his expression, her chest rising and falling with her breath.
Her lips curved; there was nervousness in it, but also triumph.
"The treatment has begun, Mr. Jiang."
She leaned down, her loose long hair sweeping across his chest.
The metal tubing of the stethoscope was sandwiched between them, alternating between the cool touch and the scorching skin.
After a while.
The nurse's cap had fallen off at some point and rolled into the corner of the bed.
Her hair was loose, and sweat-dampened strands clung to her cheeks.
Only the two sleeves of the nurse's uniform remained hanging on her arms; the rest of the fabric was effectively useless. The white silk stockings were still intact, extending from her thighs all the way to her toes.
Jiang Fan was no longer playing the patient.
He rolled over and pinned her down, Xu Qingya's back sinking into the mattress.
"Mr. Jiang — the treatment isn't over yet —"
"Nurse, it's my turn to examine you."
"I'm not sick — ah!"
Her legs were hoisted up, the heels of her white silk stockings resting on his shoulders.
"Heart rate check." Jiang Fan picked up the stethoscope and pressed the metal probe against her chest.
Xu Qingya shivered, instinctively shrinking back.
"It's cold — take it away!"
Jiang Fan didn't take it away; the metal probe slid down along her skin.
"It's beating very fast, Miss Nurse."
"No kidding — anyone would be fast if you did this —"
The rest of her sentence shattered in her throat.
——
It was unknown how much time had passed.
Xu Qingya lay on the bed, her face pressed against the mattress, her mouth open as she panted. The nurse's uniform was completely ruined, with only the two sleeves still hanging on her elbows like some absurd decoration.
The white silk stockings had a tear along the inner thigh, the edges curled up.
"Miss Nurse, how is the treatment working?"
Xu Qingya didn't even have the strength left to roll her eyes.
"...Jiang Fan, are you part donkey or something?"
"You didn't answer my question."
Xu Qingya buried her face further into the mattress, her voice muffled.
"...Effective. Very effective. Stop asking."
Jiang Fan pulled away from her and casually grabbed the quilt to cover them both.
Xu Qingya recovered for a moment, rolled over, and lay on her back. She stared at the ceiling for a dozen seconds.
"Jiang Fan."
"Hmm."
"Don't you think I'm a pervert?"
"This is called a kink." Jiang Fan pulled her toward him, "Besides, I really like it."
The corners of Xu Qingya's mouth curled up slightly. She moved closer and rested her head on his arm.
It was quiet for a while.
"Tang Yingxue is releasing a song tomorrow."
Jiang Fan's fingers paused for a beat.
"How do you know?"
"Sister Lan told me. Tang Yingxue and Universal are hyping it up on various platforms, and it's making quite a stir."
Jiang Fan didn't respond.
"It doesn't matter." Xu Qingya hugged his arm a bit tighter. "I'm a Diva with over a hundred million fans now. If she wants to fight, she can."
After about half a minute, her breathing slowed and became steady.
Jiang Fan closed his eyes, and the system panel flickered at the edge of his vision.
[Deep Compatibility ×2, Lifespan Value +6000]
[Current Lifespan Value: 71100 points]
The numbers jumped twice and then settled into calm.
Tomorrow Tang Yingxue would release her song, and it would be another bloody battle between the fans of the two Divas.
With the two women fighting, he was caught in the middle and needed to find a way to divert the fire elsewhere.
Jiang Fan rolled over and pulled Xu Qingya into his embrace.
She hummed in her sleep, wrapping her legs around him, her toes hooking onto his calf.
The nurse's cap was still resting by the pillow; Jiang Fan reached out, picked it up, and tossed it under the bed.
Tomorrow's problems can be dealt with tomorrow.
