97: Chapter 97 Xu Qingya: I'll never say "It's all fine" again.

[Subject to censorship at any time, read and cherish while you can]

Xu Qingya's villa was not far from Tianyu Entertainment, a fifteen-minute drive.

She was driving that white Porsche Cayenne.

Jiang Fan was sitting in the passenger seat; before he had even fastened his seatbelt, the car had already shot forward.

Xu Qingya's driving was just like her singing—fast, accurate, and steady, but occasionally she would hit the gas in a way that made one's heart race.

The red light turned green, the tachometer needle jumped up, and the force of acceleration pressed Jiang Fan into his seat.

"Are you in a rush to reincarnate?"

"If you think it's too fast, get out and walk."

She made the fifteen-minute trip in eleven minutes.

The car pulled into the garage, and Xu Qingya turned off the engine.

She turned her head to look at Jiang Fan.

"Today..." She tilted her head, the small diamond on her earlobe sparkling under the dim garage lights, "Whatever you wanted before, anything is fine."

Jiang Fan looked at her.

Xu Qingya's expression was very serious; she didn't seem to be joking.

"Are you sure?"

"Why are you asking so much?"

She unbuckled her seatbelt, leaned over toward the passenger seat, and hooked her finger onto the second button of Jiang Fan's shirt.

Before long, the white Porsche began to sway rhythmically.

The garage's voice-activated lights went off and on, on and off.

The passenger seat was reclined to its flattest position, and Xu Qingya straddled him, her skirt bunched up at her waist, her hands braced against his shoulders.

The space inside the car was limited, and her back occasionally bumped against the roof, causing her to let out a muffled groan and bite her lip.

"Let's go somewhere else—"

When the two of them came out of the garage, Xu Qingya's ponytail had come undone, her hair draped over her shoulders, and her cheeks were flushed.

She walked in front to open the door, her high heels clicking crisply against the floor.

As soon as they entered the living room, Jiang Fan reached out from behind and pulled down the zipper on the back of her dress.

The white dress slid down her body and pooled at her ankles.

Xu Qingya stepped out of it, turned to face him, and raised her hands to hook them around his neck.

"You're really getting a bargain today—"

Jiang Fan didn't wait for her to finish; he lifted one of her ankles, placed it on his shoulder, and pressed her against the entryway partition.

Xu Qingya gasped; fortunately, she still had her dance training.

"You—pervert—"

One of her high heels was still hanging from her toe, swaying with the movement, until it finally "clattered" onto the floor.

Xu Qingya held onto his waist with both hands, her fingers digging into his back, her nails sinking deep into his skin.

"Go... go inside—"

"Aren't we already inside?"

"I mean the bedroom!"

The bedroom door was kicked open.

Xu Qingya was flipped over, her face buried in the pillow, her waist gripped by Jiang Fan's palms, her body arched into a curve.

The positions she had adamantly refused before, she didn't reject a single one today.

She bit the corner of the pillow, sounds leaking out intermittently, each thrust pushing her forward.

"Slow... slow down—"

Jiang Fan did not slow down.

Xu Qingya's fingers gripped the sheets, her knees slipping on the bed, only for him to pull her back and press her down again.

"You—ah—"

Her words were shattered by the impact, the second half swallowed back into her throat.

By the end, she didn't even have the strength to curse; all that remained were intermittent gasps and the occasional muffled groan forced from the depths of her throat.

The two of them rolled from the bed into the bathroom.

Xu Qingya braced her hands against the marble countertop of the vanity; the mirror reflected her face—

The corners of her eyes were red, her lips bore the marks of her own teeth, and half her hair was damp and plastered against her neck.

Jiang Fan stood behind her, his hands pressing against her hip bones.

Their eyes met in the mirror.

Xu Qingya turned her face away, biting her lower lip, her fingertips tapping against the countertop.

"Jiang Fan... that's enough..."

"Didn't you say anything was fine?"

"I take it back—mm—"

The hand soap bottle on the counter was knocked over, rolling into the corner.

The faucet had been bumped on at some point, and water was gushing out, splashing onto the countertop.

Xu Qingya rested her forehead against her forearm; the mirror was covered in a layer of mist, making everything unclear.

Her voice squeezed through her teeth: "Jiang Fan... are you... trying to take me apart..."

The answer was another acceleration.

Xu Qingya lay splayed on the countertop; the cold touch of the marble and the scorching heat behind her created a maddening contrast.

Her toes curled, stepping on the slippery floor tiles, unable to even stand steady.

"I can't... I really can't anymore..."

Jiang Fan turned her around.

Xu Qingya's arms hung around his neck, her body as soft as a puddle of water, her head resting in the crook of his shoulder, panting breathlessly.

"...You're still going?"

"One last time."

When they finally returned to the bed, Xu Qingya looked like she had been fished out of water.

She lay on top of Jiang Fan, not wanting to move a single finger, her breathing still not fully recovered.

Her hair was scattered in a mess, a few strands stuck to Jiang Fan's chest.

"...I'm never saying 'anything is fine' again."

Her voice was hoarsely unrecognizable, like a different person from the one who sang "as you wish" in the Recording Studio just a while ago.

Jiang Fan's hand rested on her lower back, his thumb rubbing back and forth.

"Regret it?"

Xu Qingya raised her head and glared at him.

The corners of her eyes were still red, and this glare had no intimidation, looking more like acting coquettish.

"No regrets." She buried her face back in, her voice muffled, "But take it easy next time; I have a schedule tomorrow."

"What schedule?"

"Magazine shoot." Xu Qingya shifted her waist, "Do you know how sore my waist is right now?"

Jiang Fan chuckled.

"Then should I rub it for you?"

"If you put your hand on me, I won't be able to sleep even more."

Xu Qingya slapped his hand away from her waist, rolled over, lay on her back, and stared at the ceiling.

After a few seconds, she pulled his hand back herself and placed it on her stomach.

"...Forget it, rub it. Be gentle."

Jiang Fan turned on his side, his palm against her lower abdomen, rubbing slowly.

Xu Qingya closed her eyes, her eyelashes trembling, her breathing gradually stabilizing.

"Jiang Fan."

"Hmm."

"The song 'as you wish'..." She didn't open her eyes, "On the day of the concert, I want to sing it as the best live performance everyone has ever heard in their lives."

"You will."

Xu Qingya let out a "Hmm," pulled his hand to her lips, and kissed his knuckles.

Then she rolled over, turned her back to him, and pulled his arm around her waist.

"Going to sleep."

"Okay."

After about two minutes, her breathing became even and long.

Jiang Fan kept his eyes open, looking at the outline of her back.

The lines of her shoulder blades were faintly visible at the edge of the quilt.

The system panel flickered in the corner of his vision.

Jiang Fan looked at the number, his mind spinning.

The last image that flashed through his mind was Tang Yingxue's face in the mentor's seat on The Sound of Nature.

Jiang Fan rolled over and pulled Xu Qingya closer into his embrace.

No rush.

Let the bullets fly a little longer.
