108: Chapter 108 Is this thing that's starting to take on a human shape a snowman?

"Thank you for your heartfelt performance, Assistant Xia."

Qin Xun glanced at Xia Ning with satisfaction, then turned to look at the twenty or so interviewees below.

"So, who is willing to sing for the Dudu Tea theme song now?"

The crowd fell into a dilemma.

With Xia Ning's performance as a benchmark, they felt that Qin Xun wasn't deliberately making things difficult for them; even his own aloof, personal assistant was able to let go of her dignity.

What right did they have to be picky?

Besides, the song's melody was simple; one could remember it after listening once, and it was easy to sing.

But did they also have to dance? They didn't know how!

Suddenly, a gentle voice rang out and started singing.

"You love me, I love you, Dudu Tea is sweet."

"You love me, I love you, Dudu Tea is sweet." Everyone looked over and saw that the elegant beauty who had been sitting silently in the corner with little presence had suddenly stood up.

She wore a smile, her voice soft, as she slowly walked out of the crowd and into the open space in the middle.

"You love me, I love you!" "Dudu Tea is sweet!" The song flowed from her lips as softly as a stream, surprisingly removing a few traces of tackiness.

Qin Xun looked at An Ke, somewhat surprised.

He thought An Ke was just sitting below wanting to cheer a few times, flatter him, and act as a shill to support the event.

He hadn't expected her to actually come out and sing.

Suddenly, Qin Xun's pupils constricted.

He saw An Ke smiling, her singing never stopping, as her hands slowly moved to her black blazer.

She unbuttoned it one by one, gently took off her jacket, and revealed the V-neck professional white shirt underneath.

An Ke casually handed the jacket toward him.

Qin Xun subconsciously reached out to take it, and only after feeling the warmth of the garment did he snap back to reality.

He saw An Ke kick off her high heels, wearing only a pair of thin, short black socks, and begin to dance on the meeting room carpet.

It was surprisingly a dynamic, energetic Korean-style dance with lots of intricate moves.

An Ke danced in front of Qin Xun for a while, then turned around to face the crowd and continued dancing, exposing her back to Qin Xun.

As she moved, An Ke's waist, hips, and legs were full of dynamic energy right in front of Qin Xun.

Qin Xun looked at An Ke, somewhat amazed.

Did this girl, who looked as quiet as water, contain so much energy?

Suddenly, he noticed that the fabric of An Ke's suit pants was soft and very form-fitting.

As she danced, it clearly accentuated the contours of her long, shapely thighs.

Looking again, he noticed the pants clung tightly to her hips, yet didn't reveal the outline of her underwear.

Qin Xun couldn't help but pause. A thong? Seamless underwear? Or was she going commando?

Thinking of how An Ke was usually gentle and quiet, Qin Xun felt a bit strange.

"Heh—she's quite the closet wild one!"

Unlike Xia Ning, who looked like an aloof, domineering woman who could kill ten men in one night, but was actually pure and incredibly shy in private! She was quite cute!

Qin Xun watched An Ke without blinking. Xia Ning's gaze was slightly cold as she stared at Qin Xun.

She finished singing and dancing. "Thank you!" An Ke bowed slightly to the interviewees to express her gratitude.

The crowd was stunned for a moment, then broke into applause. An Ke turned and looked at Qin Xun again, a faint smile on her face, and bowed once more.

Then, with a faint smile on her face, she held out her hands.

Qin Xun was startled, realized what was happening, and returned the jacket. An Ke put it on naturally and sat back down in the corner.

The conference room quieted down. Everyone was shocked by An Ke's dance; thinking about how such a tacky song had been performed by her in such a stylish and trendy way, they couldn't help but feel a bit inferior.

Xia Ning, however, remained cold-faced. She looked at An Ke in the corner and saw that An Ke was also looking at her, still smiling. She also smiled lightly.

She couldn't help but feel a sense of emotion. "This woman has looks, ambition, and schemes; if she gets a helper like Qin Xun, she will surely be able to accomplish great things."

She turned her head, looked at Qin Xun's back, and sneered in her heart. "But fortunately, this guy is in my hands now, and... he isn't that lecherous."

Qin Xun looked at the crowd and asked, "May I ask, is there anyone else who wants to perform singing and dancing?"

The crowd looked at each other. No one responded. A moment ago, they still had the courage to sing and dance, but An Ke had suddenly raised the bar so high. Instantly, it drained them of all their courage.

After a while, seeing that they had lost their fighting spirit, Qin Xun hurriedly said, "Alright, Interviewee No. 20, Ms. An Ke, is currently leading by one point."

"Next, we will begin the second item." He pointed to the words on the projection screen. "Drawing!"

The crowd looked at the projection screen; some people's eyes lit up with fighting spirit again, while others were even more disappointed. Drawing, they didn't know how!

They saw Qin Xun walk to the podium, press a button on the computer, and the image on the projection screen changed. It was a cartoon drawn on a digital tablet. The brushstrokes were immature, crooked, and one could only barely make out what it was.

It seemed to be a snowman with a round head, round brain, and round belly, sporting a carrot nose? Wearing a spittoon on its head? Holding a broom in its hand?

Qin Xun pointed at the projection screen with a laser pointer. "This is the brand image I designed for Dudu Tea with all my heart and blood; it is Dudu Tea's Chief Quality Officer and also its lifetime spokesperson."

"I believe everyone can vaguely tell that this is a snowman."

The crowd looked at the drawing on the projection screen and all felt embarrassed for Qin Xun. It really was just... barely taking human form.

Xia Ning looked at the drawing on the projection screen and couldn't help but frown, thinking about how she might be made to manage Dudu Tea in the future.

Thinking of how Qin Xun had not only made her shout slogans earlier, but also stared at An Ke without blinking, she felt somewhat displeased.

"President Qin, this kind of drawing with two circles stacked on top of each other looks like the work of a three-year-old child; it is a bit too... childish." "Could you tell everyone about the source of your inspiration?" She looked at Qin Xun with a smile.

In the corner, An Ke had a smile on her face, but she sighed in her heart. As an assistant, one cannot undermine the boss like this in public! Isn't this slapping Qin Xun in the face? No, this is kicking him with your feet! Miss Xia, your little assistant is not acting the part!

Qin Xun turned to look and saw that Xia Ning had a faint smile on her face, but her eyes held a cold meaning. He knew she was deliberately trying to embarrass him, so he smiled, turned around, and prepared to show Xia Ning a thing or two to make her recognize her position.

Qin Xun looked at the crowd, his voice low and magnetic, and began to speak slowly. "Speaking of the source of inspiration, there is actually an interesting story I can tell."

"When I was brainstorming the planning proposal for Dudu Tea, I thought about making a brand mascot, but!" "After thinking for several days, racking my brains, I had nothing to show for it."

He sighed, looked back at Xia Ning again, then turned his head to look at the crowd and said loudly, "Until one night, intoxicated by the autumn breeze, I had a dream."

"On a day when snow was falling heavily, I was wandering the streets, sitting in the snow, shivering, looking just like the Little Match Girl." "Suddenly, a woman came." "She lowered her head, bent down, and handed me two big, white, round steamed buns."

Xia Ning suddenly remembered something and her eyes widened.
