112: Chapter 112 (Supplement 3) On my home turf, you dare to challenge me?
"Ugh... how tacky!"
Xia Ning couldn't help but murmur under her breath.
The storefront in the picture had a bright red background with the white characters "Dudu Tea" on it, and on the far left was the Snow King she had drawn yesterday.
Such a tacky color scheme!
Such a tacky design!
Such a tacky font!
It's truly tacky to the extreme!
Xia Ning subconsciously clicked again and swiped to the next picture.
It had the same style and color scheme, though it was a bit rougher; it must have been a practice piece.
And the text on the sign read—Xia Ning's Tea》.
A faint smile involuntarily appeared on her face.
She clicked again and swiped to the next picture.
In this one, the storefront sign read—Qin Xun's Pee》.
Xia Ning paused, frowning.
Qin Xun's Pee equals Xia Ning's Tea?
What kind of logic is that?
Suddenly.
Xia Ning felt her hand being grabbed by something. She looked down and saw it was Qin Xun's hand, and she couldn't help but feel a little nervous.
Immediately after, she heard Qin Xun lying on the table, seemingly talking in his sleep.
"Song Ying..."
"Song Ying..."
"Are you a little more sassy..."
Xia Ning's expression darkened, and she pulled her hand away.
This guy was truly a scumbag!
The girl had just entered university, and he was already impatiently asking if she was a little more sassy?
She had only just turned eighteen!
At this moment, she heard Qin Xun say.
"A sassier... internet celebrity."
"I want..."
"So hot!"
Xia Ning's expression was cold. She picked up the sandwich and coffee from the table and threw them into the trash can.
She walked over and stood behind Qin Xun, took out a wet wipe with an expressionless face, wiped her hands, and slowly reached her hand toward the top of Qin Xun's head.
She was preparing to pull his hair!
To make him wake up a bit.
Suddenly!
Qin Xun sat up abruptly, grabbed the small blanket from his shoulders and threw it on the floor. He rested his head on his right hand, rubbing his somewhat dizzy head.
"It's boiling!"
"When the autumn heat is biting, only an idiot would cover themselves with a blanket!"
Suddenly, he saw a shadow on the table. He slowly turned his head and saw Xia Ning standing behind him with an expressionless face.
Qin Xun quickly bent down to pick up the blanket and held it tightly in his arms.
"I'm so cold."
Xia Ning: "..."
He was so shameless!
...
Xia Ning said nothing and sent the flight information to Qin Xun.
Qin Xun picked up his phone and looked at it.
"Flying to Lingnan Province at 10 o'clock? That's so early!"
He saw that Xia Ning ignored him and sat silently by the tea table, starting to brew tea.
Qin Xun looked at Xia Ning's cold face and felt a bit disgruntled.
"Big Sister, I'm the one who was locked up all night. What's the meaning of you coming over here and giving me the cold shoulder?"
Xia Ning lifted her eyelids, glanced at Qin Xun indifferently, then lowered her head again, ignoring him.
Qin Xun sighed. He couldn't be bothered to deal with this woman who seemed to be on her period every day. He tapped on the table and said.
"Little Xia, contact Song Ying today."
"She's a big internet celebrity now; ask her if she knows any sassier internet celebrities."
Xia Ning suddenly looked up, her eyes sharp.
"How sassy?"
Qin Xun paused, realizing she had misunderstood, and smiled bitterly.
"Big Sister, it seems there's a generation gap between us."
"The 'sassy' I'm talking about doesn't mean frivolous or promiscuous; it means having unconstrained, imaginative thinking and acting differently from the crowd."
"I want her to help me find internet celebrities to promote Dudu Tea!"
Xia Ning stared into Qin Xun's eyes for a moment. Confirming he wasn't lying, a faint smile appeared on her face.
"According to that definition, I think..."
"You're also quite sassy!"
Qin Xun smiled and, imitating a hero from a TV show, performed a cupped-fist salute.
"Same here!"
"I think you're also quite sassy!"
"Locking someone in an office with drinks, snacks, and a computer, feeding me until I'm full—that's truly a sassy move!"
Xia Ning chuckled softly and returned the cupped-fist salute.
"Much obliged!"
Suddenly.
They both felt something was off and looked toward the door simultaneously.
An Ke was standing at the door holding a bag of breakfast, her face looking somewhat awkward, unsure whether to enter or not.
An Ke had thought about how Qin Xun was locked up yesterday and wanted to come early to try and be the first to deliver breakfast to him, to warm his stomach.
And to warm his heart as well.
She hadn't expected Xia Ning to be even earlier!
And the moment she arrived, she saw the two of them complimenting each other on being "so sassy."
It was truly... awkward!
The smile on Xia Ning's face vanished; she lowered her head and silently brewed tea.
Qin Xun acted as if nothing had happened and beckoned An Ke to come in.
"Sister An, come in!"
An Ke walked in.
She smiled and placed the sandwich and coffee on the table.
"Your breakfast."
Qin Xun was somewhat happy and was just about to reach for it, but he heard Xia Ning's somewhat cold voice ring out.
"He doesn't eat that!"
He looked at Xia Ning.
Xia Ning walked over slowly and stood beside An Ke. The smile on An Ke's face became a bit awkward; she looked timid and weak, with a pitiful appearance.
Xia Ning bent down, picked up the sandwich and coffee from the trash can, and seeing a bottle of black tea inside, she picked that up too.
She placed them in front of Qin Xun. The trash can only contained some waste paper and snack wrappers; it wasn't wet or dirty, and it hadn't contaminated the breakfast.
Xia Ning looked down at Qin Xun.
"General Manager Qin, the drinks and snacks here are company property. Even if you don't like to drink them, don't throw them away after just one sip."
"Waste is shameful!"
An Ke paused, seeing Xia Ning's calm expression, and couldn't help but feel a bit of admiration.
She was actually lecturing others not to be wasteful!
Then how did this sandwich and coffee get into the trash can in the first place?
Qin Xun looked at this full bottle of black tea, his expression somewhat awkward. He looked up at Xia Ning and said softly.
"Xia Ning, this isn't tea!"
Xia Ning paused, seemingly realizing something, and a very faint blush flashed across her face.
She silently threw the bottle of black tea back into the trash can, tapped on the table, and pointed at the breakfast she had retrieved from the trash.
"Eat!"
Qin Xun: "..."
Xia Ning's care was overbearing and intense; he couldn't quite handle it!
Suddenly.
He realized something was wrong, looked at Xia Ning, and asked.
"How did this breakfast end up in the trash can?"
Xia Ning remained calm.
"Slipped out of my hand!"
Qin Xun: "..."
Suddenly.
An Ke smiled, pointed at the two servings of sandwiches and coffee on the table, and asked softly.
"Sister Ning, is there any difference between these two breakfasts?"
Xia Ning didn't even look at An Ke and said coldly.
"The one I brought is spicy!"
An Ke: "Same here!"
Xia Ning: "The one I brought is a latte, hot."
An Ke: "Same here."
Xia Ning turned her head to look at An Ke, suddenly feeling that arguing like a shrew was beneath her. She turned and walked toward the tea table, leaving a cold remark for Qin Xun.
"General Manager Qin, you choose."
Qin Xun looked at Xia Ning, then looked up at An Ke, his gaze shifting back and forth between the two breakfasts.
Suddenly, he grabbed both breakfasts and threw them all into the trash can.
"To hell with your sandwiches and coffee!"
"I support domestic products!"
"I love eating steamed buns and drinking soy milk."
An Ke: "..."
Xia Ning lowered her head to brew tea, finished brewing, and drank a cup.
She naturally took out her phone to play, then quietly sent a 200-yuan red packet to Cheng Wan.
[Three steamed buns, one cup of soy milk, bring them to the company before 8 o'clock, please!]
Putting down her phone, she poured and drank by herself, feeling quite good.
Fighting me on my home turf?
...
9:20 AM.
Haicheng Airport departure lounge.
Qin Xun, Xia Ning, and An Ke were sitting on the side waiting to board.
Suddenly.
Qin Xun said.
"Xia Ning, time is tight and the task is heavy. Within seven days, we must make the reputation of Dudu Tea spread across the country."
"Song Ying should be up for military training now. Send her a message and see if she knows any internet celebrities."
"Ask Song Ying to create a group and pull them in; the more people, the better."
He paused for a moment, looking at the white clouds in the distant sky outside the window, and said in a deep voice.
"The group name shall be 'the wind rises'!"
