146: Chapter 146 Are you here on vacation?

Xia Ran glanced at Qi Yun, her tone carrying a hint of "don't get your hopes up":

"Don't hold out too much hope. On this sea, which island you want to go to is not something you can decide. Unless you have a Dynamic Nautical Chart."

"But that thing's rarity is comparable to a Unique Class scroll; it's something you can only hope for but never seek. I've only heard of it, never seen it."

As soon as she finished speaking, she saw Qi Yun pull out a leather sea chart emitting a faint halo, with lines and light spots still slowly flowing and changing on it.

"A Dynamic Nautical Chart? Are you talking about this?" Qi Yun asked, shaking the sea chart in his hand.

Xia Ran: "...!!!"

She felt her breath hitch suddenly, her eyes widening again as she stared fixedly at the coveted treasure in Qi Yun's hand.

You, you, you actually have one?!

And you just took it out so casually?!

The massive shock left her momentarily speechless, her mind racing wildly.

On the surface, however, she forced herself to maintain the last bit of her dignity and composure as a 'senior,' her lips twitching into a slightly stiff curve as she tried to sound calm:

"Yes, that's it. You're quite capable."

Qi Yun looked at her awkward expression of 'I'm shocked but I must pretend not to care,' and felt like laughing.

"So, how do I find Quan Island on the map?" he pressed.

Xia Ran leaned in closer, looking at the nautical chart Qi Yun had spread out.

She identified it carefully, then pointed her finger toward an area near the southeastern edge of the map.

"Look here, near the edge. There's an area where the color is lighter than elsewhere, as if shrouded in a faint gray mist."

"I've heard from people before that if you keep sailing toward the gray mist area, the waters where Quan Island is located are likely behind it."

She added, "Of course, I only heard this from others; I haven't verified it myself."

Qi Yun followed her finger and indeed found a slightly abnormal, seemingly faint gray area on the southeastern edge of the map that would be easy to overlook if one didn't look closely.

"That's the one!" Qi Yun's eyes lit up. He put away the nautical chart and, with a thought, immediately adjusted the ship's course.

After walking a few steps, Qi Yun remembered something and turned back to say to Xia Ran, who was still standing there:

"Feel free to look around and familiarize yourself with the environment. There's an Entertainment Room on the first floor with game consoles; you can go play if you're bored. I have some urgent business to handle first."

After saying that, he didn't look back, his pace even quickening as he almost jogged toward the Captains Cabin on the third floor.

It couldn't be helped; back on Flower Island, Li's sudden, passionate deep kiss had ignited a wicked fire that he needed to extinguish.

Xia Ran watched the direction where Qi Yun had hurriedly disappeared, stunned once again.

An Entertainment Room???

Game consoles?? Billiards?? Audio-visual equipment???

Are you guys surviving at sea, or are you on a luxury global cruise vacation?!

She felt her understanding of the world being constantly refreshed.

From the ship to the people, everything about this 01 Tribe exuded a bizarre, overbearing sense of 'wrong art style.'

Xia Ran first found the Entertainment Room Qi Yun had mentioned.

Pushing open the heavy soundproof door, the scene inside left her speechless once more.

A spacious room with soft lighting. On one side were several high-end-looking game consoles and an oversized screen.

On the other side was a standard snooker table and cues.

The bookshelves against the wall were stuffed with various books, and next to them were comfortable sofas and a large display screen.

This wasn't just a vacation; this was practically a corrupt bourgeois paradise at sea!

With mixed feelings, she began to 'critically' use these sinful things.

Unknowingly, an hour passed.

Having had her fill of fun, Xia Ran continued her exploration.

Soon, she arrived at the third-floor deck.

The middle area was an open-air swimming pool with clear water, surrounded by lounge chairs and sun umbrellas.

At the very front, the highest point of the ship, was a large room labeled 'Captains Cabin.'

Xia Ran stood before the Captains Cabin, looking up at the door, a strong sense of curiosity rising in her heart.

What would it look like inside such a large room?

How would that Qi Yun, as the Patriarch, decorate his own room?

As if possessed, she reached out and gently pushed the door.

The door wasn't locked, and Xia Ran's heart skipped a beat for some reason.

Then she walked in.

But her gaze was instantly drawn to the incredibly soft and comfortable large bed in the center of the room.

To be precise, it was firmly locked onto the scene on the bed.

Li was facing the door, kneeling on the bed.

Her ink-black long hair was somewhat disheveled now, draped over her smooth back.

A pair of straight, slender legs, gleaming like ivory under the lights, were slightly parted as she knelt.

Her profile was flushed with passion under the warm light, trembling slightly.

The entire image was filled with extreme visual impact.

Boom—!!!

Xia Ran's brain instantly went blank.

She thought that Li's bold French kiss back on Flower Island was already the limit.

She thought Li had only made those intimate gestures on purpose to provoke her.

She never expected...

Had progress already reached this stage?!

Already kneeling on the bed?! And looking at Li's appearance, this clearly wasn't the first time! She was very practiced!

Her cheeks suddenly became burning hot, her ears buzzed, and she froze in place.

Meanwhile, Qi Yun inside the room seemed completely unaware that there was an additional dumbfounded spectator at the door.

He had long since grown accustomed to the girls on the ship sometimes bursting in to find him without greeting.

!!!

Xia Ran finally woke up from her petrified state.

She gasped sharply, her heart pounding so hard it felt like it would jump out of her throat!

See no evil! See no evil!

Xia Ran just wanted to escape this scene immediately—right now—that was so embarrassing she could have dug out a three-bedroom apartment with her toes!

However, just as she was prepared to silently pull back her head and gently close the door—

Perhaps her movements were too hurried, or perhaps her breathing was too erratic from the shock.

"Click."

An extremely faint sound, yet exceptionally clear in the silent room, came from beneath her feet.

She had accidentally kicked something.

The movements of the two people on the bed paused simultaneously.

Qi Yun finally raised his head and glanced toward the door.

Upon seeing clearly that the person was Xia Ran, Qi Yun was somewhat surprised; he had thought someone else had come to wait in line.

Li opened her eyes slightly. Seeing it was Xia Ran, a smile appeared on her face; there was something else to play with now.

Xia Ran stood stiffly at the half-open door, one hand still maintaining the posture of pulling the door, her eyes dull.

Time seemed to freeze once again.

Xia Ran felt her soul had already drifted away from her body.

Is it still in time to pretend I was just passing by?

Waiting online, it's quite urgent.
