112: Chapter 112 The Disabled CEO's Benefactor 9

Fu Jinghan watched Lu Zhan's figure step through the doorway until he completely vanished from sight. Only then did the string that had been pulled taut finally begin to slacken.

His body leaned back slightly, resting against the back of the seat. After taking a deep breath, he raised his voice a bit and called out.

"Uncle Li."

Standing in the distance, Uncle Li heard the call and walked over to Fu Jinghan's side.

Uncle Li glanced around. Young Master Lu was no longer there, presumably having gone inside, yet his own young master was still sitting in the car. He had already sensed something, and his eyes were full of worry.

"Young Master, is your right leg hurting again?"

Fu Jinghan's hand, resting on his right leg, unconsciously clenched into a fist. A look of pain flickered in his eyes as he shook his head slightly.

"It's fine. It just suddenly lost strength. I'll be okay after a moment. Uncle Li, go keep an eye on things personally. Arrange dinner according to A-Zhan's tastes and preferences."

Uncle Li gave a word of acknowledgement and withdrew, but after a few steps, he turned back around.

He felt that in some matters, the Young Master was completely blinded by his own involvement. He didn't want the Young Master to regret and be sad in the future. Even if it would make the Young Master unhappy, he had to speak up today.

"Young Master, since you love Young Master Lu so much, you should tell him everything honestly. Keeping it hidden like this isn't a long-term solution after all."

"I've lived for more than half a lifetime, and I believe my judgment of people isn't poor. Young Master Lu is definitely not that kind of superficial person."

"His personality is so cold, yet he is extremely gentle when treating you. Moreover, back then at that critical moment of life and death, he protected you with his own life. It's clear that Young Master Lu's feelings for you are already unusual."

"With the time, place, and people all in your favor, if you don't give it your all and try, how do you know the result won't be satisfactory?"

"Do you really want to hand Young Master Lu over to someone else in the future? Young Master, can you truly be content with that?"

Those powerful words rang in his ears, appearing to explode directly within Fu Jinghan's heart. His hands resting on his legs clenched tightly, his nails digging into his palms.

Fu Jinghan's face was slightly pale, but his eyes were somewhat red, flickering with a predatory, cold light.

"Uncle Li, you could be said to have watched me grow up. You know my temperament better than anyone. How could I possibly be content?"

"Just thinking about it, the jealousy and pain in my heart almost tear me apart. I understand everything you've said, but I don't dare to gamble."

"I love A-Zhan too much. I can't even bear a single bit of disdain from him. That's why I'm so terrified and afraid, being this cautious, as if walking on thin ice."

Seeing his young master looking so dejected and utterly humble, Uncle Li's heart was full of pity. He continued with earnest words.

"Young Master, you have always been excellent. The injury was just an accident. Think about it properly again. I believe Young Master Lu won't mind. In fact, if he knew everything, he would only feel more heartache for you."

After Uncle Li finished speaking, his eyes were a bit moist. He took a deep look at his young master, then turned and left.

Fu Jinghan sat blankly in the car, his hand pressed against his right knee. The sensation under his hand seemed to warn him not to have delusions, yet those last few words Uncle Li spoke kept churning in his heart.

Would A-Zhan accept him? Would he feel more heartache for him? Was this really possible?

Fu Jinghan's entire heart was stirred into a restless state by Uncle Li's words, and he could no longer calm down.

...

Lu Zhan sat casually on the living room sofa. Beside him was an exquisite fruit platter brought by a servant, but it had clearly only been touched slightly before being neglected.

Having left the entertainment industry for three years, Lu Zhan really didn't know how many of those tens of millions of loyal fans were still left today.

He pulled out his phone, and after unlocking it, he took a casual selfie. After taking it, he examined it and felt it was pretty good.

Then he logged onto that Weibo account he hadn't used in a long time. His ordinary followers had plummeted from over thirty million to just over ten million, and it would be lucky if even half of that ten million were active.

As for his ten million Little Stardust, only a bit over a million remained. Back then, he was hailed as the most dazzling new star in the entertainment industry, so his fans were named Little Stardust.

Lu Zhan couldn't help but sigh slightly at this. To go back to square one overnight was probably what this felt like. Since things had come to this, there was no use thinking more about it. With a few light taps of his finger, he posted a Weibo update.

"I'm back. Are you all still there?"

The accompanying photo was the selfie from just now.

A brief sentence, a very casual photo.

Fu Jinghan walked in with steady steps. Aside from his pace being slightly slow, nothing unusual could be seen.

Lu Zhan shifted his gaze from his phone and looked up slightly at Fu Jinghan. His hands were spread open, a hint of a smile in his eyes, while his face feigned a pitiful expression.

"Brother Han, I've really become a has-been. I just checked Weibo, and my loyal Little Stardust fans have all disappeared. They've probably gone to fan someone else."

"Sigh, looking at it now, I'm afraid there's no hope for a comeback. In the future, I can only live off of you and rely on you to support me."

His already restless thoughts became even more turbulent because of Lu Zhan's words.

Fu Jinghan slowly walked over and sat down beside Lu Zhan.

With a doting smile on his face, love unconsciously leaked from his eyes. His gaze fell gently on Lu Zhan like water as he spoke in a solemn tone.

"A-Zhan doesn't need to worry. With me here, if A-Zhan wants to be a big star, he will be a big star. If A-Zhan doesn't want to do anything, then I will support A-Zhan for a lifetime."

"What is mine is A-Zhan's. Whatever A-Zhan wants, as long as I have it, you can take it. If I don't have it, I will certainly find it for A-Zhan."

Lu Zhan had originally just been joking and teasing casually.

Now, however, because of Fu Jinghan's sincere, fervent, and blunt words, he was slightly dazed.

"Brother Han, you say you only see me as a younger brother, yet you always say such ambiguous things. It's very easy for me to misunderstand."

Fu Jinghan suddenly felt some regret for his previous cowardice. Perhaps Uncle Li was right; he should give it his all and try.

He just couldn't lay everything out all at once. He had to take it step by step, first confirming A-Zhan's feelings, then planning slowly once their relationship became deeper.

Then he would slowly reveal everything he had hidden. Perhaps that way, it would be easier for A-Zhan to accept his defects.

Even if he really couldn't accept it, A-Zhan's heart was so kind and soft that he likely wouldn't abandon him when the time came.

Fu Jinghan pursed his lips slightly, a flash of struggle crossing his face, before he seemed to make a decision, his eyes filled with determination.

He reached out his left hand, pausing slightly in the air.

Then, slowly but firmly, he reached over, his hand trembling as he slid his fingers between Lu Zhan's right fingers, interlocking them. His face turned a peachy pink because of this action.

"A-Zhan, it's not a misunderstanding. I lied about the question you asked in the car. I do like A-Zhan, and I've liked you for a long time."

After Fu Jinghan finished speaking, he lowered his head somewhat shyly.
