138: Chapter 138 With the help of spiritual veins, the entire clan breaks through to the Foundation Establishment stage.

Golden light continued to undulate within the crevices of the rock wall, rising slowly like a living creature.

Chen Wuwang did not move; his feet were still planted in the blood-stained mud.

His left eye twitched slightly, and his Mechanical Prosthetic Eye shut down automatically—the interference from the intense light was too great, and he could no longer see the data.

He simply withdrew his hand, stood straight, and let his gaze sweep across the seething crowd before him.

The Spiritual Qi was too violent.

The newly opened mouth of the Spiritual Vein was like a pot of boiling water; golden mist gushed out, scalding anyone it hit in the face.

Several young clansmen had rushed too far forward. Struck by this wave of heat, their faces instantly flushed red, and they stumbled backward. One of them lost his footing and sat down hard on the ground, letting out a muffled groan as the veins on his forehead throbbed.

"It won't work... I can't absorb it, it feels like I'm going to burst!" the person clutched his chest, breathing rapidly, "It's like something is burrowing into the gaps of my bones!"

He wasn't the only one.

Three or four other clansmen who had been close by also crouched down; some gritted their teeth to endure, while others braced their hands on the ground and dry-heaved, their faces shifting between pale and red.

The Spiritual Vein was a good thing, but this current surge was not something everyone could handle.

Chen Wuwang furrowed his brows, raised his hand, pulled the rune-inscribed metal plate from behind his waist, and slammed it back onto the ground!

Hum—

A flash of blue light flared, and a semi-circular barrier expanded once more. But this time, it wasn't to block the outside; it was to encircle the few people closest to the Spiritual Vein, isolating them from the violent Qi flow.

Immediately after, he formed his fingers into a blade and rapidly carved three void marks in the air. With each stroke, a fine line lit up on the ground, connecting into a circular Formation array.

"Frequency adjustment," he said in a low voice, tapping the center of the Formation, "Slow the flow."

As his voice fell, the golden mist within the barrier stalled abruptly, then began to sink and rotate, turning from a violent spray into a slow swirl, like a tamed Dragon tornado, circulating around the crowd in rings.

"It's working!" A young girl tentatively took a breath, her eyes widening suddenly, "It doesn't rush anymore! I can feel it... following my Meridians!"

Chen Wuwang didn't respond, only waving his hand: "Those at the Late Stage of Qi Refining and above, enter the Formation to regulate your breath and open your main Meridians; everyone else, step back ten paces and wait for the passage to stabilize. Don't rush; if anyone acts recklessly, I will kick them out myself."

As soon as these words were spoken, the previously restless crowd immediately quieted down.

Several elder clansmen exchanged glances and nodded as they walked into the light barrier.

Their cultivation was higher, and their Meridians were tougher, allowing them to withstand the Early Stage impact.

Once inside, they immediately sat cross-legged, closed their eyes, and focused their minds, their breathing gradually synchronizing with the rotating Spiritual mist.

In less than half a cup of tea, faint white Qi emerged from the top of one person's head, which then turned cyan, and after a moment, glimmered with gold.

"He succeeded!" someone nearby whispered.

The man opened his eyes abruptly, two golden lights flashing across his pupils before fading away.

He slowly raised his hand, palm upward, and a faint yet solid mass of Spiritual Qi swirled in his palm, no longer dissipating.

Foundation Establishment! The aura of a true Foundation Establishment Stage!

At this, the people outside exploded.

"Uncle Li broke through?!"

"Oh my god, I want to go in too! Let me in!"

"Don't push! The Family head said to go in order!"

Chen Wuwang stood where he was, as immovable as a mountain.

His gaze swept across the crowd, and suddenly his figure flickered, appearing behind three people—those three were ignoring the warnings and rushing forward, their faces flushed red, clearly having lost control.

With one hand each, he tapped the Jianjing acupoints of two, and with his other finger, he tapped the Mingmen acupoint of the third, his movements so fast only afterimages remained.

"Don't force the absorption!" His voice was not loud, but it suppressed all the clamor, "Spiritual Qi is not food; eating too much will kill you! Your Meridians haven't even expanded yet, and you want to achieve Foundation Establishment in one go? Are you looking for death?!"

The three of them shuddered, the wildly rampaging Spiritual Qi forcibly suppressed, and cold sweat broke out instantly.

"Thank... thank you, Family head." One of them said with a trembling, weak voice.

Chen Wuwang released his hand, his tone softening slightly: "If you want to be strong, I won't stop you. But you must follow the rules. Regulate your breath first, wait for the Formation to turn the spiritual flow into mist, then absorb it bit by bit. Three inhalations and one exhalation, follow my rhythm."

He stood on high ground, took a deep breath, and exhaled slowly, his movements as standard as a textbook.

The crowd went quiet for a moment, then someone followed along, one person, two people, ten people...

More and more people closed their eyes, following his breathing rhythm: one inhalation—three breaths pause, one exhalation—three breaths finish.

The golden mist continued to roll, but it was no longer violent.

It flowed along the Formation patterns on the ground, turning into tiny streams of Spiritual Qi, seeping into everyone's Meridians.

Time passed bit by bit.

Some people's bodies began to glow; that was the sign of the Dantian forming.

Some were shaking all over, teeth chattering, but they bit their lips and refused to make a sound.

A young man suddenly knelt, thrust his hands into the mud, looked up, and let out a roar, then his whole body erupted with blinding golden light!

"I feel an unprecedented power!" After he shouted, he froze, then grinned, and as he laughed, tears fell, "I... I really did it! I achieved Foundation Establishment!"

This shout was like lighting a powder keg.

"I did it too!"

"My Dantian is open!"

"Haha! I'm finally not at the fifth level of Qi Refining anymore!"

Cheers rose one after another; some hugged and jumped, others knelt and kowtowed, not caring that their foreheads were covered in dust.

An old veteran with a missing leg leaned on his crutch, stood up shakily, and tried to channel his spiritual power. The next second, his entire severed limb was wrapped in golden light, and it was actually hovering half an inch off the ground!

"Fly... can I fly?" he muttered, then laughed wildly, his laughter hoarse but joyful, "I can still fight! I can still kill!"

Chen Wuwang stood at the edge of the high platform, watching all of this quietly.

He didn't smile, nor did he move, just rested his hands lightly on the stone railing, his fingertips tapping three times unconsciously—the same rhythm as before when he tapped the hilt of his dagger.

After a young girl broke through, she opened her eyes, and the first thing she did wasn't to cheer, but to turn and hug her younger sister who had also just achieved Foundation Establishment; the two of them wept in each other's arms.

Another female warrior with a face full of scars walked silently to a corner, took a charred piece of cloth from her bosom, pressed it gently to her forehead, and closed her eyes for a long time before whispering:

"Mother, I am living for you, and I have become stronger for you."

Chen Wuwang saw it but said nothing.

He knew who these people were.

Three years ago, the Zerg slaughtered the village. Fewer than thirty people survived, each carrying wounds and burying hatred in their hearts.

They were not Geniuses, had no background, and couldn't even pool enough resources to Cultivate.

But today, they stood up one by one—truly stood up.

They were no longer survivors in the ruins, but—Cultivators.

After a young clansman broke through, he was so excited that he rushed directly in front of Chen Wuwang and knelt on one knee: "Family head! I am willing to die for you! As long as you give the order, I will go through mountains of blades and seas of fire!"

Chen Wuwang looked down at him, silent for two seconds, then reached out and pulled him up.

"Don't talk about dying." His voice was very soft, yet every word was clear, "You survived, not to die. It is to live better and go further. So that one day, you can stand upright on this land, without hiding, without running."

The man was stunned, his eyes instantly reddening.

Chen Wuwang turned and looked into the depths of the Spiritual Vein.

The golden mist was still rising, but it was no longer chaotic. It was like a gentle river, slowly flowing into the body of every clansman.

The high-level ones guided the low-level ones, the strong helped the weak; no one fought, no one scrambled. They finally understood—this was not one person's Opportunity; it was the rebirth of the entire Family.

A little boy quietly walked to the edge of the Spiritual Vein fissure and placed his hand on the rock wall, just like before.

"It's still beating," he whispered.

An older brother who had just broken through heard him and smiled as he crouched down: "Silly boy, that's not a heartbeat; it's the Spiritual Vein breathing."

"But I feel like it knows us." The child looked up, his eyes shining, "It welcomes us."

The older brother was stunned, then laughed, not refuting him.

Chen Wuwang heard it, and the corners of his mouth finally curved upward.

He didn't speak, just stood quietly, his gaze sweeping over each face—there were tears, smiles, silence, and wild joy. But they all shared one thing: hope.

This was the true meaning of him risking his life to dig out this Spiritual Vein.

It wasn't to have a few more mechs, nor to have a few more Magic Treasures.

It was to allow these people to lift their heads, puff out their chests, and live uprightly.

The night wind blew, rolling up the ashes on the ground, sweeping over the broken armor, and passing through the crowd.

Chen Wuwang stood on high ground, his shadow stretched long by the moonlight.

The wound on his right arm was still oozing blood, the bandage already blackened, but he was completely unaware.

In the distance, the last clansman opened his eyes, a divine light shining in them.

The whole place was silent for a moment, then erupted into even greater cheers.

Chen Wuwang took a gentle breath and whispered: "Good, all good."

He didn't move, nor did he leave, still standing in place, his gaze calm, surveying this newly born power.

Things for tomorrow, we will talk about tomorrow.

Tonight, let them fully experience this—the beginning of the rise of the Chen Family.
