367: Chapter 367 Pressing the attack, the enemy is routed.

The wind still blew, as ashes swirled and rolled across the scorched earth.

The hundred-foot-tall mecha, "eye of wuwang," hung a thousand meters in the air, its right fist raised but not yet lowered.

The residual light of the runes faded layer by layer, hydraulic pipes hissed with black smoke, and only a faint spark remained in the thrusters, struggling to survive.

Inside the cockpit, alarms blared one after another.

[Super Mode remaining time: 3 seconds...]

[Core temperature critical, imminent meltdown...]

[Structural integrity dropped below 10%...]

Chen Wuwang stared at the monitor, the blood-red spiritual patterns in his pupils not yet dissipated. His fingers continued to tap the edge of the control stick—once, twice—as if waiting for the final second.

"Three... two..."

He grinned, bits of dry rations and bloody foam still stuck between his teeth. "One."

"Boom—!"

The thrusters suddenly ignited, and the entire mecha dove down from a thousand meters high—not falling, but smashing!

"Xiao Dao!" he roared his first words, his voice tearing through the sky via the amplification array. "Block the left wing!"

"Tiezhu!" The second roar was even fiercer. "Crush the central army!"

Before his voice faded, the mecha crashed into the center of the enemy formation like a falling star.

"Thud—!!!"

The ground exploded with spiderweb-like cracks, the airwave flipping dozens of remaining Cultivators. Dust soared into the sky, making even the distant mountaintops shake three times.

The mecha's feet landed, its right arm slowly retracting. The white flames on its knuckles finally extinguished, leaving only the red-hot metal crackling.

Chen Wuwang took a deep breath, wiped the sweat from his face, and cursed under his breath: "Fuck, I almost blew up in the sky."

He didn't shut down the System or leave the mecha. Instead, he opened the global communication channel, his voice as cold as iron: "All units, listen up—pursue the victory, leave no survivors!"

---

In the left-wing valley, Chen Xiaodao kicked down the last Golden Core Cultivator who still tried to form a hand seal. His Mechanical prosthetic limb emitted high-frequency shockwaves, snapping the opponent's Meridians with a crack.

He looked up at the iron-gray figure in the sky and twitched the corner of his mouth: "Did you hear that? The Patriarch has spoken—don't let a single one escape!"

"Seven Stars Return to Position!" He suddenly drew his sword. The laser sword and spiritual power sword unsheathed simultaneously, their tips pointing directly at the three valley exits. "Meteor Lock Array, lock them down!"

Seven Core Disciples quickly took their positions, and the array patterns beneath their feet lit up. Seven sword lights wove into a net, and a massive net woven from light threads instantly appeared in the air, blocking all paths of retreat.

A low-level Disciple was backlashed by a Talisman while pursuing the enemy. A bloody hole exploded in his chest, and he stumbled back.

"Close your eyes!" Chen Xiaodao barked. With a flick of his wrist, his Sword Intent transformed into an arc of light, sweeping across and slashing three newly activated Interference Talismans into fragments.

"Useless!" he cursed, yet still tossed out a protective Talisman. "Take it! If you dare to charge blindly again, I'll personally kick you out of the Sword Cultivator Team!"

The Disciple gritted his teeth and took it, nodding in silence.

Chen Xiaodao said no more and flashed forward, charging into the densest part of the enemy crowd.

"Trying to run?" He sneered. His mechanical arm erupted with blinding blue light. With one sweep of his sword, two enemy Cultivators about to self-detonate their Golden Cores were decapitated on the spot. Their Nascent Souls were shredded by Sword Qi before they could even escape.

"I said it." He stepped on a corpse, blood dripping from his sword tip. His voice wasn't loud, but it made all the remaining enemies tremble. "Leave no survivors."

---

In the scorched earth zone of the central army, the "earth dragon" heavy mecha piloted by Chen Tiezhu was taking heavy steps. Its treads ground over severed limbs and tattered banners, each step making the ground tremble.

While checking the weapon System readings, he roared into the communication channel: "Who the hell loaded the Shock Grenades backward? I almost hit our own people!"

"Reporting to the Elder, it was Li Sanshi who loaded them. He said he was afraid they wouldn't be powerful enough, so he stuffed in an extra half-tube of explosives..." a trembling voice came from the co-pilot.

"Idiot!" Chen Tiezhu slapped the control console. "Those are Runic Concussion Shells! Not earthen cannons! Stuffing more powder will cause a barrel explosion! Believe it or not, I'll throw you out right now to feed the bugs!"

"But... but the enemy is about to form a Blood Sacrifice Array!" The co-pilot pointed ahead.

Chen Tiezhu looked up. Sure enough, three enemy Elders were kneeling before the array eye, holding jade bowls. Blood flowed from their fingertips into the ground cracks, and the array patterns lit up circle by circle, with black mist faintly rising.

"Dammit, they actually dare to try this." He spat. "They think sacrificing a few small fry can summon reinforcements?"

"Calibrate shoulder cannons!" he roared. "Target—the bald one in the middle! Clear the two on the left and right while you're at it!"

"Lock-on complete!"

"Fire!"

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Three Runic Concussion Shells hit accurately. The array eye exploded into a fireball. The three Elders didn't even have time to scream before being flipped by the airwave, their bones shattered into dust, and blood splattered everywhere.

The "earth dragon" continued forward. With each step, the Earth Vein Resonance Device activated. A rumbling sound came from underground, and over a dozen enemies hiding beneath the surface were forcibly shaken out, crawling on the ground like maggots.

"Chainsaw Blade!" Chen Tiezhu grinned savagely. "Spin it up!"

The back armor flipped open, and a rotating serrated giant blade whistled out. It swept in a circle, filling the air with blood mist and severed limbs.

"Anyone else who dares to hide underground, I'll dig you out one by one and roast you like skewers!" After cursing, he crushed the head of the last enemy trying to crawl away with one foot and muttered softly, "This battle is even dirtier than Artifact Refining."

---

In the center of the main battlefield, Chen Wuwang finally shut down the mecha System.

As soon as the power was cut, the "eye of wuwang" knees buckled, and it knelt down with a crash, kicking up a large cloud of dust.

He pushed open the cockpit and jumped down. His legs were a bit weak, but he stood straight.

The three claw marks on his right cheek were still bleeding, and the Mechanical Prosthetic Eye on his left flickered with a faint red light, scanning various parts of the battlefield.

Chen Xiaodao's voice came through the communication channel: "Left-wing lockdown complete. Seventeen fleeing enemies, all eliminated."

"Central army sweep finished," Chen Tiezhu reported next. "Blood Sacrifice Array broken. The remaining enemies have no organized resistance capability."

Chen Wuwang nodded, looked up at the sky, and slowly raised his finger, pointing high.

"Total air ban for the whole army."

Once the order was given, the entire battlefield instantly entered a state of grim execution.

"Star River Sword Array: Heavenly Net Chapter!" Chen Xiaodao commanded. Three hundred Sword Cultivators leaped into the air in unison, their sword lights weaving a net to block all flight paths.

"Psionic Radar Network activated!" Chen Tiezhu pressed a button inside the mecha. Three Signal Towers rose from the ruins, their light beams weaving into a net that locked onto every moving heat source in the sky.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Dozens of sword lights soared into the sky, followed by seven rounds of runic cannon fire, accurately hitting five high-level Cultivators fleeing on artifacts.

One person had just flown ten miles before being entangled by the sword array and ground into blood mist; another tried to use an Evasion Art but was captured by the radar network, a cannon shell shattering his Magic Treasure and sending him tumbling down a cliff.

No survivors.

---

The wind gradually died down.

Only scorched earth, wreckage, bloodstains, and scattered, unextinguished fires remained on the battlefield.

Chen Wuwang stood in place, unmoving.

Behind him was the kneeling "eye of wuwang." On the left-wing high ground, Chen Xiaodao sheathed his sword, the blood dripping from the tip burning a small pit into the scorched earth.

Over by the central army, Chen Tiezhu poked his head out of the "earth dragon" cockpit, wiped the oil from his face, and shouted toward them: "Patriarch! Still alive?"

Chen Wuwang didn't look back; he only raised one hand and gave a middle finger.

Chen Tiezhu laughed heartily: "Still alive! Good!"

The voice of a young Disciple suddenly sounded in the communication channel: "Report! Three enemy corpses found on the left wing. They had Messaging Jade Talismans on them, which have been destroyed!"

"Captured seven war banners and over a hundred weapons from the central army, already sorted and stacked!"

"Confirmed no survivors to the southeast. The patrol team is clearing the remaining fires!"

Message after message came in, and order was gradually restored to the battlefield.

Chen Wuwang finally let out a long breath and said softly, "We won."

He didn't roar it or laugh it; it was just two quiet words, like a stone finally hitting the ground.

He looked down at his hands; they were still shaking.

Not from exhaustion, but because that final punch really took everything he had.

He looked up toward where the clansmen were gathering, seeing Wang Meng leading the mecha squad in formation, seeing young Sword Cultivators supporting each other while counting casualties, and seeing craftsmen already beginning to dismantle the enemy's wreckage.

No one cheered, no one celebrated.

But they stood straight.

Chen Tiezhu walked over, covered in oil, and handed him a bottle of water: "Drink?"

Chen Wuwang took it, twisted it open, and gulped it down, choking slightly and coughing.

"You actually know how to care about me?" he joked. "Back in the sky, did you think I was going to explode?"

"Pah!" Chen Tiezhu glared. "The mecha I built? Let you explode? At most, it would fall apart; it wouldn't explode!"

"Then don't skimp on Materials next time." Chen Wuwang wiped his mouth. "Almost shook my bones apart."

The two looked at each other and suddenly laughed.

The laughter wasn't loud, but in the silent battlefield, it was exceptionally clear.

Chen Xiaodao also walked over and stood not far away. He didn't speak, just thrust his sword into the ground and stood quietly.

The three of them stood there, with the broken city walls behind them, the scorched battlefield before them, and their exhausted but upright clansmen all around.

The wind rose again.

It kicked up a cloud of ash, dusting Chen Wuwang's face.

He raised a hand to wipe it away and squinted toward the distance.

There, the sun was rising from the ridge, shining upon this land that had just undergone a blood-soaked Rebirth.

He said softly, "Clean up the battlefield and prepare for the victory celebration."

He paused, then added, "First, find someone to check if anyone has had a Breakthrough."
