202: Chapter 202 Overwhelming Strength

Facing this lightning-fast encirclement, Song Yang did not panic.

"If you want to die, I shall grant your wish."

Before his voice had even faded, that long spear appeared in his hand.

Clang!!

With an incredibly muffled boom, the whistling Flail struck the spear tip; the hammerhead deformed instantly and was violently repelled by an unmatched, colossal force!

The Black strong man felt the webbing of his thumb split as the bones in his arm wailed. He stumbled back several steps, his eyes filled with horror.

How is this possible?!

However, he no longer had time to think.

Song Yang's figure left an Afterimage in place, appearing before the White strong man like a ghost.

The burly man carrying the giant blade had his pupils shrink sharply; his heavy, forceful overhead cleave was as slow as a movie in Song Yang's eyes.

"Too slow."

The Black Spear thrust forward in a simple, direct strike.

Without meeting any decent resistance, the spear tip easily pierced through the man's pectoral muscles and bones, emerging from the back of his heart.

The hideous grin on the white man's face froze. He looked down at the spear shaft passing through his chest, his eyes filled with disbelief. His mouth opened, but only large gulps of blood foam sprayed out.

At the same time, Isabelle's Scimitars had also arrived!

A flash of ruthlessness crossed her eyes; her companion's death had instead triggered her ferocity!

But in the next second, her ruthlessness turned into bone-chilling fear.

Song Yang didn't even look back, simply swinging the long spear—still impaling the white man's corpse—backward!

Clang! Clang!

With two crisp sounds, Isabelle's two Scimitars, which could cut through iron like butter, snapped like rotten wood before the Black Spear.

Before she could recover from the shock of her weapons being destroyed, the Black Spear tip had already traced an arc of death.

"Ah—!"

One of Isabelle's arms was severed at the shoulder, blood gushing out like a fountain!

The intense pain caused her to lose all will to fight instantly.

She saw the fear in her Black companion's eyes; without any hesitation, the two of them turned and fled frantically toward the depths of the dense forest.

After witnessing Song Yang's overwhelming power, the flames of revenge had long been extinguished by the instinct for survival.

"Trying to run now?"

Song Yang shook the white man's corpse off the spear.

He stomped hard on the ground, his figure shooting out and arriving first despite starting later, delivering a vicious kick to the back of the Black man's head.

"Crack!"

A crisp sound of bone fracturing rang out. Half of the Black strong man's head collapsed as he slumped forward like a pile of mud. His body twitched twice before falling silent forever.

In an instant, of the three War Gods, two were dead and one was crippled.

Hearing the commotion behind her, Isabelle was scared out of her wits. She didn't even dare to look back, using all her strength to lung forward and roll, appearing utterly pathetic.

However, a foot stepped lightly onto her back, making it impossible for her to move even an inch.

The force wasn't great, yet it was as heavy as a mountain, completely shattering her last hope.

"Don't... don't kill me. I'll do anything you want."

The blonde woman lay on the ground, her face smeared with blood and dirt, her hair disheveled. She no longer possessed any of her previous arrogance.

Song Yang's foot on her back remained motionless as he looked down at her, his eyes devoid of pity.

"I'm technically one of The Authorities now!"

Feeling the shadow of death loom over her, Isabelle shouted urgently, as if grasping at the final straw:

"You can't kill me! Killing me would be infighting! The Authorities won't let you off; they absolutely won't allow internal strife!"

"The Authorities?"

Song Yang squatted down and leaned close to Isabelle's ear. "Don't you think you're overestimating your own importance?"

"You..."

Isabelle's pupils constricted suddenly, a bone-chilling cold rushing from the soles of her feet straight to the top of her head.

She finally understood that the man before her didn't care about The Authorities or any rules at all.

In his eyes, there was no difference between her and her two dead companions.

Puchi.

The Black Spear tip did not hesitate for a second, piercing through the back of her heart cleanly from above, pinning all her wails and threats to the ground.

Isabelle's body stiffened abruptly, her eyes wide. A large amount of blood foam surged from her mouth as life quickly drained from her dilated pupils.

Song Yang slowly stood up and pulled the blood-stained spear from her corpse, lightly wiping the blood off against a nearby tree trunk.

Silence returned to the woods, leaving only a thick, inescapable scent of blood.

Leaving Dajing City and returning to the familiar Dahai City, the manor Villa was already visible in the distance.

However, before Song Yang could even get close, he noticed something was wrong.

Over a dozen vehicles, ranging from modified rugged off-roaders to executive sedans that still showed their former luxury, completely blocked the manor's entrance.

A group of people was waiting anxiously outside the gate, occasionally craning their necks to look at the sky.

When Song Yang's figure descended from the sky and landed steadily on the open ground in front of the manor, the crowd swarmed forward.

"Mr. Song! Mr. Song, you're finally back!"

A middle-aged man in a sharp suit and gold-rimmed glasses squeezed to the front, his face covered in a fawning smile. Behind him, someone held a brocade box covered with a red cloth.

"Mr. Song, I've long heard of your great name. We are a power from West City. We've prepared a small gift as a token of our respect!"

"Mr. Song, look at us! We are more sincere! This is scale armor made from monster hide!"

"Get lost! Would Mr. Song even look at your trash?"

These people were all influential figures from various factions, yet now they were like street vendors, scrambling to promote themselves.

The leading Man with Glasses observed Song Yang's expression and quickly took another step forward, speaking in a self-importantly familiar tone:

"Mr. Song, everyone just wants to serve you. In the future, Dahai City will be yours to command with just a word."

Before he could finish, he was coldly interrupted by Song Yang.

"Drive these cars away from here."

Everyone looked at each other, not understanding what the big shot meant.

Song Yang set off, walking straight toward the manor gate.

The crowd blocking his way involuntarily parted to both sides, making a path.

That invisible sense of pressure was more deterrent than any weapon.

"And you all."

Song Yang's pace didn't falter as his voice drifted back, "Stay away from my manor."

"Mr. Song, we mean no harm," someone explained, gathering their courage.

Song Yang finally stopped and turned his head, his black eyes meeting theirs directly for the first time.

Those he looked at felt their hearts contract sharply, as if being stared down by some primordial beast, their hands and feet turning ice-cold.

"I don't want this place to be targeted by those monsters. If you insist on staying here, don't blame me for being unmerciful."

After he spoke, no one dared to make another sound.

Only then did they realize that the man before them was different from any ruler they had dealt with in the past.

He had no interest in hearing flattery, nor did he care about winning people over.

In his world, the rules were set by him.

Amidst the deathly silence of the crowd, Song Yang pushed open the iron gates of the manor and walked inside.
