75: Chapter 75 Massacre
Hearing the massive commotion outside the door, the three women turned pale, instinctively casting their gazes toward Song Yang.
Although this safe house was sturdy, the group outside had professional demolition tools, and listening to the noise made them feel uneasy.
Song Yang, however, acted as if nothing was wrong; he turned around directly and walked toward the second floor.
The three of them didn't know what Song Yang was up to, so they followed him quickly.
There was a window on the second floor, located directly above the Villa door.
Song Yang pushed the window open, and the sound drew attention from below.
Downstairs, Brother Hu was looking up, shouting with a voice like a broken gong:
"Song! Count yourself lucky for knowing we aren't to be trifled with! Now, get down here obediently and hand over the explosives. Our Brother Ye Tianlong is magnanimous, so he might just leave your corpse intact!"
Song Yang ignored the barking from downstairs, his clenched fist suddenly opening.
Countless sticky, foul-smelling liquids descended like a waterfall, dousing them completely from head to toe.
"Splash—"
Brother Hu, who was cursing directly in front of the window, didn't react in time and was drenched through and through.
The liquid was thick, clinging to his hair and face, dripping down his neck.
He instinctively wiped his face and brought his hand to his nose to sniff it; an indescribable stench surged straight to his brain.
Looking closer, what was on his hand was clearly food scraps, shattered bone fragments, and even a few rotten vegetable leaves, mixed with greasy blood—it was unmistakably the most disgusting swill!
"What is this?!"
"Damn! It stinks!"
Ye Tianlong's underlings didn't escape unscathed either; they were all drenched.
For a moment, the area in front of the Villa reeked.
Ye Tianlong was standing a bit further away, but he was still splattered with a few drops, his face livid as he wiped his cheek with a tissue.
Brother Hu finally managed to stop retching, his face turning the color of a pig's liver—half from disgust, half from anger.
He pointed upstairs, his eyes splitting with rage, and cursed loudly:
"Song Yang! You son of a bitch! If you have the guts, come down here! I'll chop you up and feed you to the dogs! No! Feeding you to the dogs is too good for you! I'm going to throw you into a septic tank and drown you!"
A man behind him also shouted:
"Damn it! Kid, you're dead! Once our Brother Ye Tianlong gets in, he'll definitely skin you alive!"
By the second-floor window, Song Yang spoke slowly, his voice reaching everyone's ears:
"Don't worry about killing me yet; worry about how you're going to survive first."
After saying this, Song Yang closed the window, drew the curtains, and disappeared from view.
Before Brother Hu could understand what Song Yang meant, he saw an underling beside him pointing toward the entrance of the estate, his face filled with horror.
"That... what is that..."
Brother Hu's heart skipped a beat because of the man's terrified expression, and he cursed impatiently:
"What are you screaming about! Stop making such a fuss!"
Even so, he instinctively turned his head in the direction the underling was pointing.
At that glance, he felt a chill surge from the soles of his feet straight to his brain, and his blood seemed to freeze in an instant.
In the darkness at the entrance of the estate, one, two, three—at least dozens of pairs of scarlet light points lit up eerily, approaching them.
Those weren't lights; those were eyes!
"Awooo—"
Those scarlet eyes moved extremely fast; in the blink of an eye, several swift, dark shadows lunged out from the darkness!
"Ah—!"
The first to scream was an underling closest to the entrance. He hadn't even clearly seen what lunged at him before he was knocked to the ground by a massive force. Immediately after, a heart-wrenching pain erupted in his neck, and warm blood gushed out.
A foul wind hit them in the face!
What had lunged out were mutated dogs, several times larger than wolfhounds, covered in dark scales, with drool streaming from their mouths and fangs bared!
Ye Tianlong and Brother Hu realized it almost simultaneously.
It was the swill!
The swill that Song Yang had poured down!
Those foul-smelling liquids were the very culprits that had attracted these monsters with their extremely keen sense of smell.
The rich, meaty, and bloody stench in the swill was an irresistible dinner bell for these monsters with their freakishly sensitive sense of smell.
"Damn it!"
Ye Tianlong's face was so dark it could drip water.
He had calculated everything, but he hadn't expected Song Yang to use such a tactic.
Brother Hu was so terrified that his soul seemed to leave his body, his legs shaking uncontrollably like a winnowing sieve.
He was covered in the most swill, and the rich, foul stench lingered at his nose, making him feel like the biggest, brightest piece of fat in the dark night, specifically acting as a beacon for the monsters.
He could even feel many of those scarlet gazes landing on him.
"Brother... Brother Ye Tianlong... save... save me!"
An underling beside him had barely let out half a cry for help before being violently tackled to the ground by a dark shadow.
"Snap!"
Sharp fangs easily tore through his throat, the sound of bone fracturing clearly audible.
Warm blood sprayed out, with a few drops even splashing onto Brother Hu's face, scalding and smelling of raw meat.
"Fuck! Don't come over! Everyone, stay the fuck away!"
Brother Hu shrieked and tried to scramble backward in a panic, but he slipped on the grease on the ground, stumbled, and nearly fell.
He now hated himself for standing so close to the window and cursing so loudly; it was practically throwing himself into the line of fire.
"What the fuck are you all standing there like idiots for! Fight back! Stop these beasts for me!"
Ye Tianlong roared, calling his men to resist,
but the weapons he had brought were useless against these ferocious mutated dogs.
Cutting machines couldn't cut through the monsters' hard scales.
Electric drills couldn't drill through their thick skulls.
Even if they could, the monsters wouldn't just stand there and let them attack.
The underlings were jolted awake by Ye Tianlong's roar; some hurriedly raised their demolition tools but didn't know how to use them, merely waving them around in vain.
Most of them had completely lost the courage to resist, wailing in terror as they fled in all directions.
But those mutated dogs were shockingly fast, and their movements were far more agile than humans.
They were like streaks of black lightning, flashing and slaughtering through the chaotic crowd.
Every lunge was accompanied by the crisp sound of bones breaking and the desperate screams of humans.
This was a slaughter!
