191: Chapter 191 Finding Something to Cool Down
"Young Master Chen, this is the first time you've seen so many Models completely naked. Are you finding it a bit overwhelming?"
Chen Hao took the mineral water, twisted off the cap, and handed it back to her.
"Indeed, a feast for the eyes, a great sight to behold."
Qi Qi was stunned for a long time and didn't dare to take the bottle of water.
Chen Hao asked doubtfully.
"Didn't you ask me to open the cap for you? Now that it's open, take it?"
Qi Qi was mortified. She brought water for Young Master Chen, yet he mistook her for someone who couldn't open a bottle cap—she was truly speechless.
"Young Master Chen, you drink it. It's for cooling down. Besides, I'm not that weak; I can open bottle caps myself."
She pushed the mineral water back. Chen Hao smiled slightly and took a sip to show respect.
Qi Qi said with emotion.
"After leaving the first room, the next room automatically queues up behind more than 30 people, so today's auditions will be very busy."
Chen Hao made small talk.
"After all, it's a professional selection. It's normal to work a bit harder."
"It's not hard at all, not even a little bit. Everyone is saying it's an honor just to be able to participate in this event."
She quickly declined, afraid Chen Hao might misunderstand.
"As long as you all like it, there will be a lot of work ahead."
Qi Qi said with a blush.
"Thank you, Young Master Chen, for giving me this opportunity. If you need me to help you cool down, I can assist at any time."
Her affectionate gaze was already a rather overt hint.
Given Chen Hao's endurance, the few minutes of waiting wouldn't be enough to satisfy him.
"We'll talk about that later. You carry on; I need to get some fresh air first."
Chen Hao genuinely needed fresh air. After all, there were over a hundred women, almost all of whom wore perfume, gathered on the third floor. Under the high temperature, one could imagine how pungent the smell was.
"Farewell, Young Master Chen."
After watching Young Master Chen leave, Qi Qi returned to the waiting area, feeling disappointed.
When Chen Hao arrived on the second floor, he noticed several male coaches with nothing to do, gathered together discussing the Models upstairs.
"Are there any you fancy?"
Chen Hao's sudden voice startled the coaches, who immediately stood in a straight line.
"Greetings, Boss!"
Chen Hao gestured for them to relax and patted the iron mesh of the octagon cage, asking.
"Which one of you is the Freestyle Fighting Coach?"
A short, skinny man stepped forward.
"I am."
"Come on, let's spar."
Having seen too many women had agitated Chen Hao's mind. If this feeling wasn't vented in another way, the suppressed emotion would eventually affect his Dao heart.
Several employees fitted Chen Hao with protective gear, and he entered the octagon cage with the coach. Other employees rushed over upon hearing the news, gathering around the cage to watch the excitement.
"Boss, be careful. I'm a provincial-level athlete and have competed professionally."
Chen Hao smiled and said.
"It's fine. If you can knock me down today, I'll give you a ten-thousand-yuan bonus!"
Upon hearing this, the coach became energized and lunged straight at Chen Hao. He threw a probing jab, followed by a hook, then a spinning back fist, swinging his arm fully to strike Chen Hao's face.
It was a combination flurry of punches; he intended to win the match right at the start. Unfortunately, he underestimated Chen Hao. This combination might have hit an ordinary person, but against Chen Hao, he didn't even touch his edge.
"Whoa!"
After finishing his spinning back fist, he looked somewhat bewildered at his boss, who was outside his striking range. He wondered inwardly, 'When did he move so far away?'
Little did he know that while he was thinking, Chen Hao rapidly advanced. In the blink of an eye, Chen Hao launched his own attack.
The coach quickly defended, but Chen Hao's fists rained down like raindrops—stomach, face—he took over a dozen punches in just a few seconds.
However, what puzzled the coach was that all these punches only brushed against his skin before retracting; they didn't hurt at all. Chen Hao hadn't used his full strength.
"No way, Boss, use some force! I can take it!"
"Are you sure?"
He emphatically smacked his own head with his fist.
"Hit me, Boss, attack with full force..."
"Bang!"
Before the words were finished, the Freestyle Fighting Coach took a full-force punch and was sent sprawling sideways, knocked out by a single blow.
Stunned!
The onlookers, male and female alike, were all dumbfounded.
"Damn, this new boss is even fiercer than Sister Hong!"
Chen Hao signaled to the people outside.
"What are you standing around for? Come in and help him."
The employees finally reacted and rushed into the octagon cage to check on the Freestyle Fighting Coach. After being splashed with water, he finally woke up.
His first words were.
"Where's the Boss? Where did he go?"
"He went to find Manager Liu."
At the first-floor swimming pool, after Chen Hao met with Liu Jiayin, she explained the situation in the gym.
"The gym does indeed have over 1,000 members, including quite a few annual members, but they rarely come. Last night, I stayed up all night checking the accounts and found that the average daily active users are only about 20 people. Operating like this means we're constantly losing money."
Chen Hao handed Liu Jiayin a piece of paper.
"This is a marketing model I came up with temporarily. From now on, promote according to this plan: a fitness challenge where members get paid for working out. This will guarantee daily activity, and once it takes off, subscription revenue will definitely skyrocket."
Liu Jiayin looked at it, unable to fully understand, and asked doubtfully.
"What does all this mean?"
Chen Hao explained patiently.
"To put it plainly, we use free fitness as a lure. First, get members to pay their fees, and then promise to pay them 20 yuan for every day they come to work out, until their membership fee is fully returned."
Liu Jiayin's eyes widened.
"Won't we lose money?"
"Within a specified time frame, they must come for a specified number of days—every single day for a month, thirty days—to ensure daily activity and boost the gym's popularity."
"Don't worry about the membership fee still needing to be paid back; the key is having large working capital. It's like a pension fund: new users subsidize old users, ensuring there's always money in the account to keep rolling."
"Besides, with enough popularity, the gym can promote protein powder. Even if we don't make money from fitness itself, we can make money by selling merchandise."
"Furthermore, we can launch a fitness rebate promotion and heavily push personal training sessions internally. These are all new sources of income."
"In business, as long as there is popularity, I guarantee that the money earned later will only increase."
"Finally, take advantage of the Models training here these few days. Arrange for promotion immediately and use local traffic. Stop making the sales staff exhaust themselves handing out flyers under the scorching sun, risking heatstroke."
"Oh, I understand. I'll go arrange it right away."
Just as Liu Jiayin was about to leave, Chen Hao called her back in time.
"What's the rush? Wait until noon when these Models are on their lunch break, then start promoting. Also..."
Chen Hao beckoned her closer with his finger, making Liu Jiayin lean in near his ear.
"Go to the warehouse now and take inventory of how many Yoga Sets we have left. If we don't have 100 sets, order more immediately. Push sales while they are on their lunch break at noon. Every bit we earn is a gain."
Liu Jiayin immediately gave him a thumbs-up.
"Brilliant! Truly brilliant!"
She rushed off briskly. Chen Hao then found the sales employee managing the beverage area.
"Every hour, take the functional drinks upstairs and push a sale. You may not have ridden a high-speed train, but you must have ridden a slow, green-skinned train, right? Don't you understand salesmanship?"
"Got it, got it."
If someone were next to Chen Hao at this moment, they would certainly say he was like a goose plucking its own feathers—not even sparing his own people.
There was no helping it; this was Chen Hao's personality. No matter where he went, his first consideration was always maximizing profit. This was a deeply ingrained habit of thought that he couldn't change.
