85: Chapter 85 Too Many Women Cause Back Pain
Afterward.
Zhu Shasha proactively helped Chen Hao clean up the mess.
"Do you want to take a shower before heading back? Don't let your girlfriend find any clues; she’s quite a sensitive woman."
Chen Hao didn't refuse and walked into the bathroom with Zhu Shasha.
This was his first time inside. Last time, listening to the sounds from the closet, his mind had wandered endlessly. He never thought he would have a time for a bath together.
He turned on the water, prepared the bath, and held Zhu Shasha, asking softly,
"Why did you suddenly come around?"
"I just thought of it. Our profession doesn't have much conscience. For an actor, those who become hugely popular must remain single. Even if you could marry me, I might not necessarily marry you."
Chen Hao whispered in her ear,
"Did you sign relevant contracts?"
"More or less. Once married, they will definitely lose a massive number of fans. Many people remain single their whole lives just to stay popular, until they grow old and undesirable."
"How pitiful."
"Who told me to choose this line of work? There’s nothing I can do."
The two chatted about some trivial matters until the bath was over. Chen Hao put on his clothes, and Zhu Shasha urged him to leave.
"Hurry up and go. Don't keep your girlfriend waiting anxiously."
As he left, Chen Hao and Zhu Shasha shared a farewell kiss. He took the elevator downstairs. When he returned to the room, Zhang Menglu was already asleep.
Chen Hao took off his clothes and, looking at her long legs, instinctively touched one.
Unexpectedly, Zhang Menglu suddenly woke up. Seeing it was Chen Hao, she let out a sigh of relief.
"You scared me!"
Chen Hao kissed her long legs, and she mumbled sleepily,
"It tickles!"
"It's good that it tickles."
He pulled her firmly and pressed her down, touching her all over.
It was another passionate bout.
...
The next day.
Chen Hao felt listless, with a sore back and waist.
Zhang Menglu supported Chen Hao as they went to class, saying,
"I told you this period has worn you out. If you keep pushing like this, I’m really afraid you’ll die from exhaustion."
"Ptooey, ptooey, what are you saying?"
But in his heart, he thought, death isn't likely, but kidney deficiency is only a matter of time.
He drove to the Business School.
Today's lecture topic was New Media Anchor Training. Most of the attendees were young people—handsome guys and beautiful girls—and there were even quite a few foreign faces.
Chen Hao felt a bit dazed as he entered the classroom because more than ten binding notifications popped up.
He looked around. The room, with four to five hundred people, was almost full. There were many beauties with Internet Celebrity faces, and also many who looked naturally beautiful.
Chen Hao snapped his fingers and asked for the registration list. About 300 people had signed up, so what was with the full house? Could people even audit this kind of class?
Chen Hao cleared his throat and began today's lecture.
Because most attendees were young, their phones kept ringing during the lecture. Some people interrupted with questions from time to time, causing the lecture content to constantly deviate.
To maintain control, Chen Hao answered most questions truthfully, but he didn't just gloss over the core content of the class.
As he lectured, Chen Hao strolled up and down the tiered seating. Almost every girl was showing off her shoulders and long legs, which was very pleasing to the eye. Lecturing to them made Chen Hao feel incredibly relaxed.
"Hey!"
There was an acquaintance—Wang Lichun. He had paid her registration fee; how could he have forgotten that?
He nodded as a greeting and continued to use classical references, speaking eloquently while explaining successful New Media case studies.
He also roughly summarized every niche based on short video platforms.
"Ring ring."
"That's all for today's lecture. In the following sessions, I will explain each niche in detail, clarifying the platform mechanisms and anchor mechanisms for everyone. Class dismissed!"
Unlike other classes, after this one, almost all four to five hundred students, regardless of gender, rushed over to add Chen Hao on WeChat.
Chen Hao briefly understood. Most of them were Internet Celebrities, and some came along with their Internet Celebrity Best Friends. The people auditing the class were mostly university students wanting to learn the rules of new media. Basically, everyone had published content online.
Out of the four to five hundred people, only about a dozen were minor Internet Celebrities with tens of thousands of fans.
An idea struck Chen Hao: Isn't this like someone delivering a pillow right when he was thinking of sleeping?
He shouldn't waste these ready-made actors!
Chen Hao took the opportunity to create a group chat, putting everyone in the entire class into one group.
He also pulled Sun Nana in and made her an administrator.
Just like that, the core team for short drama creation was basically formed.
During lunch, Sun Nana came to find him. After greeting Zhang Menglu, they ate while she showed Chen Hao the planning proposal she had prepared.
"As expected of my disciple, the proposal meets my expectations,"
Sun Nana said with a smile.
"I worked on it all night and made several versions. This is the best one."
Next, Chen Hao helped her refine it. He told her he had created a group and asked Sun Nana, as an administrator, to publicly recruit actors for short dramas. They would form an amateur crew to conduct internship filming during periods when classes weren't held.
"Once you release the news, they will all volunteer to sign up. Each group will have about 10 to 20 people. You can arrange them yourself. For content, just find existing viral short dramas and remake them to let them keep experimenting."
Sun Nana asked again,
"Aren't you afraid of being sued?"
Chen Hao gave a wry smile.
"Are you silly? Our APP is going to launch overseas. The two markets don't connect at all. Even if we are found to have plagiarized, it will just be taken down. We will have already earned the money we were supposed to."
Zhang Menglu, who hadn't spoken, suddenly raised her hand.
"I have a question. Since it's launching overseas, all these people in China speak Mandarin. Will foreigners understand?"
Chen Hao gave Sun Nana a look.
"You explain."
Sun Nana smiled and said,
"AI is so powerful now; there's no need for manual dubbing. Just find an AI translation software for Chinese-to-English translation, and you won't see any flaws."
Zhang Menglu covered her mouth and exclaimed,
"No wonder I'm going to be unemployed."
Sun Nana asked curiously,
"What is your major?"
"English major, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages."
"Pfft~"
Sun Nana couldn't help but suppress a laugh.
"A sunset major, but it doesn't matter. What I studied is similar to yours. I'm in Journalism, later switching to Broadcasting and Hosting. I also can't find a job directly related to my major."
Zhang Menglu extended her hand.
"Fellow sufferers of the world."
Sun Nana shook her hand and finished the line,
"Why worry about not having met before."
The two were getting along quite well.
In the afternoon.
The class size wasn't large; the topic was a lecture on New Media Platforms, which was actually about APP development and management. It was for explaining existing template modules to certain companies or small individual workshops.
Most learners were programmers, all of them with receding hairlines, bald.
After Chen Hao finished speaking, he felt they were very dejected. Programmers seemed to lack vitality in life.
After class, they left in small groups. Only a slightly chubby young man wearing glasses and a plaid shirt politely said,
"Lecturer Chen, may I treat you to a meal?"
Chen Hao packed his things while replying,
"There's no need for a meal. If you have something to ask, just ask directly. I will tell you everything I know."
The chubby young man took out his phone and opened an application.
"I wanted to consult you on whether the APP I designed has market potential?"
Chen Hao took the phone to look, and his eyes lit up immediately.
"Let's go, I'll treat you to a meal!"
