80: Chapter 80 Leveraging Power

Qian Zhaodi sat to the side and said helplessly,

"I can't argue with you. So many people just left, is that really okay?"

Chen Hao gave a wry smile.

"Actually, I've always suspected how many of Zhuang Hua's one-hundred-person team were just making up the numbers. Seeing them today, there really were quite a few."

"An army is judged by its quality, not its quantity; a general is judged by his strategy, not his bravery. Once I train these 20-plus people, I guarantee I can elevate Zhuang Hua's business to the next level."

Qian Zhaodi crossed her arms.

"I'll wait and see."

Zhang Menglu asked quietly,

"What can I do to help?"

Chen Hao spoke frankly.

"I might be very busy for a while, so you can help us order lunch and dinner."

"Dinner?"

Zhang Menglu paused.

Chen Hao opened Zhuang Hua's laptop to check the courseware content.

"Maybe even a late-night snack."

Chen Hao gathered the remaining people together.

Through their self-introductions, Chen Hao gained a preliminary understanding of them.

Most of them were Zhuang Hua's juniors, many were current university students, and they were still fuzzy about the concept of money as they prepared to enter society.

This meant that whether they divided the profits now or later made no difference to them.

The main reason they were willing to stay was to repay favors, because of hobbies, or because they had a good relationship with Zhuang Hua and didn't want to stab her in the back at this critical time.

"Since you are willing to stay, I will explain my solution."

"Until Zhuang Hua has fully recovered and been discharged from the hospital, I will temporarily lead the lectures. You all must cooperate with me to plan out all the upcoming courses thoroughly."

"First, we need to stabilize the people who have already registered. We must deliver high-quality lectures to make them feel they got more than their money's worth. As long as they don't withdraw, we still have a chance to turn things around."

"Understood!"

The twenty-plus people were united in purpose.

"Time is pressing, we can't wait. Get to work!"

With Chen Hao's command, they immediately entered work mode.

He was a perfectionist at heart. Once he committed to something, he had to do it to the best of his ability. Since he took on this task, he naturally couldn't just go through the motions.

It had to be said that the materials Zhuang Hua's team had researched were truly comprehensive: domestic case studies, international data, training outlines, and presentation strategies. Every piece of courseware PPT was novel.

Entering the latter half of the internet age and the new media era presented a superb opportunity, which also opened up entirely new business ideas for Chen Hao.

During lunch, Chen Hao chatted with the twenty-plus employees. Most of them were responsible for miscellaneous tasks like filming and arranging seats.

"Why do you still need to film everything?"

Chen Hao didn't quite understand. They explained,

"Because the Business School requires backups. Also, for classes like the President's Class, some presidents might be in meetings and unable to attend. If they miss a class, we send them the recording, so their high registration fee wasn't wasted."

Chen Hao then reviewed the training schedule. There were six classes in total, with two sessions per day—one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Rotating through the six classes took three days. If they ran continuously for a week, each class would receive two lectures.

Some classes had a large number of students and were split into three smaller groups, with one group starting a new session every month, completing all training in three months.

Chen Hao waved his hand decisively.

"It doesn't need to be this complicated. For large classes, negotiate with the Business School to use the multi-purpose hall. There's no need to stretch it over three months; finish it in one month. Efficiency is paramount."

After lunch, Chen Hao laid out the strategy, arranging the twenty-plus people clearly.

Qian Zhaodi had already left, but she left Wang Lichun behind to assist whenever needed.

Thus, Chen Hao fully immersed himself in the materials.

Only when he completely mastered them could he explain everything clearly to the bosses.

Time flew by. Two days passed in a flash; tomorrow was the day Chen Hao was scheduled to lecture.

To leverage influence, Chen Hao called Wei Xinglong and informed him that he would be lecturing the next day, inviting him to audit the session if he was free.

Afterward, he instructed the employees to spread the word: it was a lecture by a renowned master, and even Wei Xinglong was coming to audit.

Amidst everyone's determined efforts, the day for the lecture finally arrived.

The bosses who had purchased the course all had membership cards. Their information was entered into the computer, and students only needed to swipe the card to verify their identity and enter the classroom.

But today was strange. The President's Class, which should only have had about 80 people, surprisingly had one or two hundred attendees.

Due to insufficient staff and lax security, many freeloaders had slipped in.

However, these freeloaders were not ordinary people; they were all economics professors from the Business School, and the lowest-ranking among them were corporate executives.

Ma Botao had registered for the President's Class, and Wang Liguo, having heard about the renowned master teaching, shamelessly came to sneak in for the lecture.

"The scene is quite grand," Wang Liguo thought with deep emotion.

Even before the lecture began, the venue was packed, completely filling the multi-purpose hall.

In the center of the multi-purpose hall, a professional camera was set up, and staff members were debugging the video recording equipment.

Others were organizing the courseware, connecting the sound system, linking the computers, adjusting the large screen, and preparing the lecture content.

Wei Xinglong arrived as promised to show support for Chen Hao, sitting in the first row alongside the old professors, eagerly awaiting the start.

"Ding-a-ling!"

The class bell rang.

When Chen Hao stepped into the multi-purpose hall, the hall immediately fell silent. Everyone stared at him—some with confusion, some with curiosity, and others with doubt, each harboring their own hidden agenda.

A qualified lecturer could handle any large scene. If it were Zhuang Hua lecturing to so many influential figures, she too would subconsciously feel nervous.

But Chen Hao felt no burden at all. After standing still, he surveyed the audience and said with a half-joke,

"Hello, bosses! I am the lecturer for this training session. My name is Chen Hao. Thank you all so much for coming to support me. Bosses who are here to freeload, if you come back for the next session, please pay the class fee later."

The entire audience burst into laughter, the atmosphere became harmonious.

Ma Botao and Wang Liguo, however, were dumbfounded, completely stunned!

Today, they finally learned that the legendary Professor Chen's grandson was actually Chen Hao!

It was too unexpected!

With the assistance of the teaching assistants, the PPT began playing on the large screen, and Chen Hao started the first lecture of his life.

Chen Hao used the most humorous language and vernacular that even a fool could understand to explain obscure and difficult business terminology.

In between, he interspersed ancient and modern business case studies, quoting classics and speaking with ease, delivering a lively lecture on what would otherwise be a dry and dull business topic.

"Impressive!"

Many professors were filled with admiration.

Their own lectures were mostly old news, following the content of textbooks verbatim, which was not only tedious but also resulted in few students listening attentively.

But listening to Chen Hao's lecture, the entire audience was captivated. The occasional interactive questions and answers also prompted active participation from everyone.

Chen Hao's composure on the podium led all the professors to believe that he was naturally cut out for this profession.

Even Wei Xinglong nodded secretly.

"Professor Chen's grandson has indeed inherited his mantle. He has the same style!"
