Feigning indifference to lure the enemy

Li Wei's left hand was like a pair of iron pincers, death-gripping the other man's right wrist that held the knife, and twisted it outward!

"Crack!"

The crisp sound of bone fracturing rang out.

"Ah!"

Zhao Dazhuang let out a blood-curdling scream as a heart-piercing pain radiated from his wrist. He could no longer hold the Butterfly Knife, and it flew out of his hand.

Li Wei's attack did not stop there.

He formed a fist with his right hand and followed through with an upward elbow strike, smashing it ruthlessly into Zhao Dazhuang's jaw.

"Bang!"

With a muffled thud, Zhao Dazhuang's massive frame was knocked backward by the blow. A mouthful of teeth mixed with bloody foam sprayed out, leaving him completely dazed.

Having succeeded in his move, Li Wei immediately pulled back, putting distance between himself and the two men again.

He clutched the wound on his abdomen, panting heavily as blood continuously flowed through the gaps between his fingers.

The light spots in his vision were slowly fading, and blurry outlines began to become clear.

His eyes were about to recover.

Zhao Dazhuang shook his head, which had been beaten senseless, and spat out a mouthful of bloody water.

Looking at his own wrist, which was twisted at a bizarre angle, the madness in his eyes was replaced by an emotion called fear.

This man was a monster!

He had been in the underworld for many years and had more than one life on his hands; he prided himself on having few rivals in his life-and-death killing techniques.

But in front of Li Wei, he felt like a child holding a wooden stick trying to challenge a fully armed special forces soldier.

The opponent's moves were not wasted; every single one was precise, efficient, and lethal.

If it weren't for his own thick skin and flesh...

His jaw might have been directly shattered by that strike just now.

"Useless trash! What the hell are you doing?! Get him!"

Seeing the situation reverse, Lin Tianhao shouted at Zhao Dazhuang in a fit of exasperation.

Zhao Dazhuang glanced at Li Wei's eyes, which were as cold as an abyss, then at the clamoring Lin Tianhao beside him. For the first time, his heart wavered over his choice.

Was it really worth throwing his life away for a boss who never knew the meaning of caring for his subordinates?

Li Wei didn't give him much time to think.

He glanced at the panicked Lin Tianhao.

A bold and ruthless plan quickly took shape in his mind.

To catch the bandits, first capture their leader!

Li Wei's gaze bypassed the still-hesitating Zhao Dazhuang and pinned itself onto Lin Tianhao like two icy blades.

Lin Tianhao's scalp tingled under his gaze, and he subconsciously took a step back.

It was this single step back that left him completely exposed behind Zhao Dazhuang.

Li Wei moved.

Without any warning, he lunged forward like a hunting leopard, ignoring the wound on his abdomen. With an unstoppable determination, he charged straight toward Lin Tianhao.

His target had never been Zhao Dazhuang from the very beginning.

"Protect me! Dazhuang, hurry and protect me!"

Lin Tianhao was scared out of his wits. He had never seen such a display and screamed as he tried to hide behind Zhao Dazhuang.

Zhao Dazhuang's mind went blank.

Loyalty, or perhaps the servility that had been ingrained in him for years, overrode his fear at this moment.

Almost out of instinct, he let out a roar.

Protecting his head with his intact left hand, he pumped his legs and charged toward Li Wei like an out-of-control tank.

He intended to use his own body to block this fatal blow for Lin Tianhao.

However, the violent collision he expected did not happen.

At the very instant the two were about to collide...

Li Wei, who was charging at full speed, twisted his body in a way that completely defied the laws of physics.

He forced a mid-air twist, his toe lightly tapping against a nearby concrete pillar.

His entire person was like a bird returning to its nest.

In a bizarre arc, he bypassed Zhao Dazhuang and continued his pounce toward the terrified Lin Tianhao behind him without losing momentum.

A feint to the east to strike in the west!

Zhao Dazhuang's full-force collision slammed into thin air.

His massive inertia made it impossible to stop, and he stumbled forward several steps.

His entire back was exposed to Li Wei without any defense.

He had committed the most fatal mistake in a life-or-death struggle.

He had turned his back to the enemy.

Opportunity!

A cold light flashed in Li Wei's eyes as he once again abandoned the nearby Lin Tianhao.

His body twisted again in mid-air, his right hand shooting out like lightning to snatch the Butterfly Knife that had fallen to the ground.

As the blade hit his palm, a surge of cold killing intent rushed straight from his arm to his head.

"Squelch!"

"Squelch!"

Two muffled sounds of a sharp blade severing tendons rang out almost simultaneously.

Zhao Dazhuang only felt two bursts of heart-wrenching pain from his Achilles tendons.

An irresistible force took hold, and his massive body could no longer support itself. He fell forward onto the ground with a scream.

Before he could even react...

Li Wei appeared by his side like a ghost.

The Butterfly Knife flipped in his hand, turning into two silver afterimages that precisely sliced through his intact left wrist and his already broken right wrist.

Hand tendons, heel tendons—the tendons of all four limbs were completely severed!

"Aaaargh—!!!"

Zhao Dazhuang let out the most shrill and painful howl of his life. He felt as if his limbs no longer belonged to him.

Aside from the boundless agony, he could no longer feel a shred of strength.

He slumped on the ground like a pile of mud. Blood surged wildly from his wrists and ankles, quickly forming a pool of blood beneath him.

And the master he had risked his life to protect, Lin Tianhao, was completely terrified upon seeing this bloody and cruel scene.

He didn't hesitate for a second, nor did he even glance back at the now-crippled Zhao Dazhuang. Instead, he scrambled and crawled away, fleeing into the deeper darkness of the mall.

He even let out pig-like squeals.

"Help! Big Donkey Brother! Help!"

Lying in the pool of blood, Zhao Dazhuang watched that fleeing figure. The madness and ferocity in his eyes were gradually replaced by an indescribable despair and sorrow.

This was the person he had been loyal to for half his life.

This was the person he was willing to give his life for.

At the most critical moment, he had been abandoned like a stray dog.

Li Wei walked slowly to Zhao Dazhuang and looked down at him. There was no pity in his eyes, only indifference.

"In your next life, keep your eyes open.

Not everyone is worth risking your life for."

After saying that, he stopped looking at the now-completely ruined man and turned to chase after Lin Tianhao.

But after taking just two steps, he stopped again.

He slowly turned around, his gaze falling on Zhao Dazhuang's lower body, which was twitching from the intense pain.

Zhao Dazhuang seemed to sense something, and for the first time, a pleading look appeared in his lifeless eyes.

"No... don't..."

A cold arc curled at the corner of Li Wei's mouth.

He walked back step by step and, under Zhao Dazhuang's terrified and desperate gaze, raised his foot high.

"Thud!"

A muffled sound rang out, like a watermelon being stepped on and bursting.

Zhao Dazhuang's body arched violently, and he let out a non-human wheeze. His eyes rolled back, a foul-smelling liquid flowed from beneath him, and he completely lost consciousness.

Li Wei withdrew his foot expressionlessly and wiped the blood off his sole on the body that now looked like a tattered rag doll.

For a beast like this whose humanity had been obliterated, any mercy would be a desecration of those he had harmed.

After doing all this, he casually tapped himself a few times.

It was God-Level Acupuncture. Although directly striking acupoints wasn't as effective as using needles...

It was still sufficient to stop the bleeding.

Playing hard to get.

Lin Tianhao, you'd better not let me down.

A cold glint flashed in the depths of his eyes.

He gripped the blood-stained Butterfly Knife and unhurriedly pursued the direction Lin Tianhao had fled.

With every step he took, a clear bloody footprint was left on the ground.
