Qin Bing was criticized

She did not have the privilege of a specially cleared path.

Upon hearing the emergency broadcast, she had run up the stairs.

She was wearing her police uniform.

Her face was full of anxiety, and her forehead was beaded with sweat.

She saw two Police Officers gathered at the glass door.

They were clicking their tongues in amazement.

Qin Bing walked quickly to the two Police Officers at the door.

She lowered her voice and asked.

"What is going on?"

One of the Police Officers said hurriedly.

"You are finally here, Officer Qin."

He paused.

"A child just had a sudden seizure."

He pointed at Li Wei.

"This acupuncturist from Huaxi Medical University is like a god descending from the heavens."

Qin Bing was stunned.

Huaxi Medical University?

An acupuncturist?

She stepped forward and saw the little boy on the hospital bed.

And the doctors and Nurse around him.

She froze for a moment.

Then she saw Li Wei standing by the hospital bed.

Her entire body stiffened.

Li Wei?

Why is he here?

She looked at Li Wei.

Her eyes were full of suspicion.

Li Wei clearly did not have a medical license.

How could he be a physician from Huaxi Medical University?

She frowned and looked at the two Police Officers beside her.

"Are you sure he is not a con artist?"

The two Police Officers looked at each other.

One of the Police Officers explained.

"Officer Qin, that can't be right. It's not like it's a good thing; who would impersonate a doctor? If something goes wrong, they wouldn't get any credit, and they'd have to take responsibility and face a lawsuit."

The other Police Officer also chimed in.

"Exactly. I saw his technique was seasoned and magical; the silver needles seemed to have a life of their own in his hands. How could he be a con artist? Officer Qin, aren't you overthinking this?"

Qin Bing stood at the door, frowning.

She watched Li Wei through the gap in the door.

Li Wei was currently withdrawing the needles from the little boy.

His movements were very light.

Very steady.

Every time he pulled out a needle.

He would gently press the acupoint for a few seconds.

To prevent the retrograde flow of qi and blood.

Qin Bing looked at Li Wei's hands.

Those hands.

Slender.

Powerful.

His fingertips gently twisted the silver needles.

His movements were as precise as a work of art.

Qin Bing suddenly remembered.

Just now in her mother's hospital room.

Li Wei seemed to be holding the silver needles in the same way.

But back then, he was preparing to perform acupuncture on her mother.

But she had interrupted him.

An indescribable feeling welled up in Qin Bing's heart.

Could it be that she really overthought it?

If she hadn't interrupted Li Wei earlier.

If she had trusted Li Wei.

Then would her mother be awake now?

Qin Bing bit her lip.

For the first time, she doubted her own judgment.

Li Wei finished withdrawing the needles.

He handed the needle set to the Nurse.

He turned to Director Wang and said.

"Director Wang."

He paused.

"I'll leave the follow-up treatment of the child to you."

Director Wang said hurriedly.

"It's my duty, it's my duty."

He paused.

"Dr. Chen, could you leave your contact information?"

He looked into Li Wei's eyes.

"In the future, if there are difficult cases."

He paused.

"I would still like to ask for your guidance."

Li Wei waved his hand.

"No need."

He paused.

"I just happened to be passing by."

He turned and walked toward the door.

Director Wang still wanted to say something.

Li Wei had already pushed the door open.

And walked out.

At the end of the long corridor, sunlight streamed in through the window.

Li Wei specifically observed.

It was still the same two Police Officers from before.

Qin Bing was not there.

The two Police Officers saw Li Wei and nodded at him in a friendly manner.

Li Wei also nodded.

Then he quickened his pace.

Just as he reached the elevator.

A figure suddenly flashed out from the side, blocking his path.

It was Qin Bing.

Li Wei stopped.

He looked at her.

Qin Bing was wearing her police uniform, her back straight.

Her face was expressionless.

But her eyes were somewhat complex.

"Li Wei."

Her voice was very cold.

Li Wei rolled his eyes helplessly.

"What!"

Qin Bing ignored his attitude and continued.

"I heard you introduced yourself as a physician from Huaxi Medical University."

She paused.

"And claimed to be a disciple of Professor Chen Yiming."

Li Wei smiled.

"And then?"

Qin Bing stared at him.

"Is it true?"

Li Wei shook his head.

"Of course it's fake."

Qin Bing was stunned.

Li Wei continued.

"I never attended Huaxi Medical University."

He paused.

"And I am not some disciple of Chen Yiming."

He looked into Qin Bing's eyes.

"Those were all made up. If I really were, would I have been subjected to your ridicule in your mother's hospital room?"

Qin Bing's expression changed instantly.

"You..."

Li Wei interrupted her.

"I know what you want to say."

His voice was very calm.

"Isn't it practicing medicine without a license, impersonating a professional, and deceiving medical staff?"

He paused.

"And these charges, that's enough for me to spend a few years inside, right?"

Qin Bing bit her lip.

Li Wei continued.

"So are you going to arrest me now?"

He held out his hands.

"Come on, put the handcuffs on me."

Qin Bing looked at him.

She didn't move.

Li Wei smiled.

"Why aren't you doing it?"

He paused.

"Just now in your sister's hospital room, weren't you quite capable?"

His voice suddenly turned cold.

"First you questioned my medical skills, then you suspected me of having ulterior motives."

He paused.

"Why aren't you saying anything now?"

Qin Bing opened her mouth.

Wanting to say something.

But in the end, she didn't say it.

Because she had just been at the door of the hospital room.

She had seen the whole process of Li Wei withdrawing the needles through the glass window.

That fluid technique.

That precise needle insertion.

And the miracle of the little boy going from near-death to stability.

And the attitude of the doctors inside.

All of this was telling her.

Li Wei's medical skills were real.

And very high.

But when she saw the smug look on Li Wei's face, she just didn't want to admit it.

Because to admit it.

Was to admit that she was wrong.

Li Wei looked at her.

"I know what you are thinking."

He paused.

"You are thinking about whether I really have medical skills."

He smiled.

"But you don't want to admit it."

He paused.

"Because to admit it is to slap yourself in the face."

Qin Bing's expression became even uglier.

Li Wei continued.

"Qin Bing, let me ask you."

He looked into her eyes.

"If I hadn't acted just now."

He paused.

"What do you think would have happened to that child?"

Qin Bing bit her lip.

"He would... die."

Li Wei nodded.

"Yes, he would die."

He paused.

"But I saved him."

His voice suddenly raised.

"I risked getting arrested by you, damn it, to save him!"

Qin Bing was shaken by his intensity.

Li Wei continued.

"Do you know why I had to impersonate someone?"

He paused.

"It's because I don't have a medical license."

He paused.

"Because if I didn't impersonate someone, those doctors wouldn't have let me touch that child."

He paused.

"Their thinking is exactly the same as yours, and that child would have lost his life because of your stubborn ideas!"

Qin Bing lowered her head.

Li Wei looked at her.

"Qin Bing, you are a Police Officer."

He paused.

"Your duty is to catch criminals and uphold justice."

He paused.

"But have you ever thought about it?"

His voice was very cold.

"Sometimes, justice is not found in legal statutes."

He paused.

"But in people's hearts."

Qin Bing raised her head.

Looking at Li Wei.

Her eyes wavered.
