10: Return again and kill the player.

Tang Ping found a new house in District 66. It was still only six square meters, but it cost forty sheng tian coins a month.

In the dim room, Tang Ping now held a map.

"So the Jiangcheng Ruins are just outside the Safe Zone. This Safe Zone was built on the outskirts of Jiangcheng a hundred years ago."

He quickly located the street where he had lived a century ago, and he intended to go to that exact spot!

If his actions could influence this timeline, then whether he could awaken his Talent depended on this opportunity.

Thinking this, Tang Ping got up again, took some food, and left the Safe Zone alone.

He headed for the Wasteland!

The coarse wind and sand scraped against his face like knives, and the ground was covered with traces of acid rain corrosion.

But strangely, a large number of plants still grew in the Wasteland. Most of these plants were grayish-white or dark gray, with bizarre appearances.

Tang Ping walked cautiously through the Jiangcheng Ruins. A hundred years had passed, and most of the tall buildings had long since collapsed, but some still stood firmly.

However, their surfaces were pitted and scarred by the erosion of wind, sand, and acid rain, revealing exposed rebar.

"It's a good thing this place is right next to the Safe Zone; most of the Infected and Pollution Beasts have been cleared out."

Nevertheless, Tang Ping dared not relax. No one could guarantee that there were no remaining Infected or Pollution Beasts here, and encountering any would undoubtedly be fatal.

Fortunately, Tang Ping arrived at his destination without encountering any Infected or Pollution Beasts.

He looked at the dilapidated street before him. Even after a hundred years, he could still recognize it at a glance as the street where he used to live.

His gaze fell upon a building. The building originally had seven floors, but now only four and a half remained.

"I wonder if my room is still there," Tang Ping cautiously advanced, making his way without incident to the house where he had lived a hundred years ago.

The recent memories, superimposed on the room before his eyes, made Tang Ping's emotions incredibly complex. To this day, he didn't know what had happened to him.

Tang Ping took a deep breath, no longer focusing on these thoughts. What he needed to do now was to change his current situation as much as possible.

The countdown before him was slowly approaching its end.

0:00:00

His consciousness was instantly pulled again. Tang Ping opened his eyes and found himself back inside his Shelter.

By now, he was no longer surprised by these occurrences.

After finishing the hamburger in his hand, he devoured two more, chugged a bottle of mineral water, and once again left the Shelter.

This time, he was going to kill people.

To seize a shelter item!

Tang Ping emerged from a secluded alley onto the main road, his deep gaze piercing through the dust, searching for his target.

Suddenly, something flashed before his eyes—a treasure chest! A doomsday treasure chest had appeared right in front of him.

Tang Ping didn't hesitate for a moment and immediately picked it up!

"Kid! Hand over that treasure chest!"

From the dust, three burly men surrounded him. Clearly, on this wide-open road, even though Tang Ping immediately picked up the newly spawned treasure chest, it was still seen by others.

Tang Ping didn't reply. He immediately took out his Peashooter, lining them up!

"Attack!"

"What the hell is that thing!" One of the burly men's pupils constricted, instinctively wanting to retreat.

But retreating was useless. As long as they were within a hundred meters directly in front of the Peashooter, it was a guaranteed hit!

Three peas fired!

"This is a Peashooter from plants vs. zombies!" One of the burly men clearly recognized it, somewhat startled.

"Quick, get out of the way!"

Unfortunately, it was too late.

The Peashooter's peas weren't slow like in the game; instead, they were incredibly fast, instantly locking onto the three burly men. The fist-sized peas exploded on their bodies.

The scene instantly became a bloody mess, with severed limbs and flesh splattering everywhere.

The players hiding in the shadows, who had originally intended to be the mantis stalking the cicada, with the oriole behind, instantly froze in place.

Tang Ping coldly surveyed his surroundings. The hiding players immediately felt a chill run down their spines.

He approached the three burly men and immediately picked up three shelter items.

Then, carrying two Peashooters on his shoulders and cradling one in his arms, his figure gradually disappeared into the dust, appearing to have left.

After a long while, the players there dared to make a sound.

"Did I just see things? Someone actually used a Peashooter to blow up three people!"

"Luckily, it wasn't me who went out just now. If I had been a step faster, the pieces scattered on the ground might have been me."

"Damn it! What's the difference between that guy's pea and carrying three cannons! How can anyone beat that!"

"I'm out, I'm out. I'm not going to hang around this area anymore. That guy killed people without even blinking. He's a complete psychopath!"

"Wait for me, I'm leaving too. How about we go together!"

Of course, some were unwilling.

"How did that guy get his Peashooter?"

"What do you guys say, if we snatched that thing..." Someone's eyes glinted with greed.

His two teammates exchanged glances, and one of them spoke, "Sorry, we have other things to do, so we're leaving first. Let's just pretend we never saw each other again."

"Hmph, cowards," the man said with disdain, his gaze fixed on the direction Tang Ping had just left in the wind and sand. "If I had snatched those three peas..."

Suddenly, something enlarged in front of the man's eyes.

At first, he was a little puzzled, but the next moment, terror instantly appeared in his eyes.

"No!"

Bang! The pea shattered the man's head.

The surroundings fell silent again. Many people left nervously; no one even bothered to pick up the shelter item on the ground.

Tang Ping emerged from the wind and sand again, picked up the item on the ground, and left once more.

The wind and sand greatly obstructed vision, and the road was also full of vehicles.

"Did that person leave?"

"What does it matter if he leaves or not? I'm leaving anyway."

"Don't you want those three Peashooters? Then the three of us, one each, with them, we can definitely get far ahead!"

"No, no, if you want them, go yourself!" The two people left in a hurry.

This squad, simply because of Tang Ping's appearance, subsequently went their separate ways.

"If you guys aren't going, I am," the young man in the cuffed pants whispered, turning and heading in one direction.

Suddenly, three peas enlarged right in front of his face.

"Me!" The young man in cuffed pants was startled, and in his dying moments, he was still thinking, "This old scoundrel!"

The renewed sound of the pea explosion made the last few remaining people leave in a panic.

There was not a single player left at the entire intersection.

"Another Shelter with a trashy characteristic." Tang Ping held a pebble in his hand. This pebble was the young man's shelter item.

At this moment, Tang Ping already had five shelter items. He planned to find a place to hide three of them.
